Chapter 24: Matthew and Martha

Evelyn’s POV

I was confused too so I held her hand and quickly ran to Mrs. Andrews to ask, I left Walt inside the kitchen all alone he must have been so confused.

“Yes, you can sprinkle a little on his food, and just give him 5 minutes after swallowing the food and see the wonders “

Walt sat on the dining and his eyes were all over the place he knew we were up to something and I loved how confused he looked.

“I want to say something, please”

Rachel said quietly while we were all eating.

“Here we go away”

Chloe rolled her eyes and said.

“Chloe, come on”

“I was joking come on”

“Walt, Christopher, and I planned a surprise party for you and Evelyn and we invited all of our ex-classmates, it was meant to be a surprise but with the way things are right now I think it's best I just told you guys, and Chloe invited some of your friends too”

I turned around and looked at her, she turned her head around trying to avoid eye contact with me.

“Rachel, that was so thoughtful of you guys, but when is the party exactly?”

I asked with a stressed face, I was tired, just when I thought it was all over.

“Tomorrow, the Plan was to have a party a day after your wedding day so that's it, most of the guests are already in Los Angeles since it was meant to be a surprise and none of them have any idea about Christopher’s death they didn't come here or call any one of you”

“Oh, my God, another party?”

Matthew said and immediately he stood up and said he needed to use the toilet.

“It's fine Rachel, but how bout you tell them we now know about the party so we could just have it here at my house”

Walt said with a smile on his face.

“That's a great idea, Walt “

Rachel smiled back and said to Walt then walked towards him and they both hugged each other, I love their siblingship it was cute.

“Evelyn, why is Matthew going to the toilet, I said I wanted to have sex with him not give him diarrhea “

“Oh my God watch what you say “

Chloe said, pointing at Angel.

“Exactly there's a child here, I'm going to my room, Goodnight everybody, thanks for the food Aunty”

Angel waved at us and went upstairs to her room, her room had a big television so I was sure she wasn't going to sleep.

“Go upstairs, Martha”

Mrs. Andrews said to Martha.

“Now?”

“Yes, come on go”

She left to join Matthew.

“Mum, what did you do?”

“Nothing extraordinary “

“Mum, seriously?”

“It's fine babe, finish your dinner let us go upstairs ok”

“Hmm, thanks for the food baby girl, Good night people “

Walt's mum stood up and left, he looked at his mum and smiled.

He loved her, his eyes were filled with love for his mother.

He once told me how his mum fought against her In-Laws, his father's parents when they kept disturbing her into giving birth to another child.

But she turned a dead ear to them because she said she had a dream when she was pregnant with Walt, that Walt would be a very jealous child and he would want his parent's love to be for him alone.

So his mum legit blocked her womb after giving birth to him, and that made Walt love his mum even more.

He once told me that there's nothing he wouldn't do for his mum, and he sometimes drags for his mum's attention with his father.

Martha’s POV

I ran upstairs as fast as I could.

“I hope Mrs Andrews didn't give my husband diarrhea “

I opened the door and met him on the chair.

“Matthew, what's wrong with you?”

“Just this sharp pain “

“Well, how are you now?”

“I'm good, I'm better”

“OK, I just came to check up on you”

I turned around as if I was leaving but he stood up and held me from behind around the waist, Oh God when was the last time my husband came this close to me?

“Matthew? Are you good?”

He turned me around and rushed my lips like a hungry child.

I missed all of this, my husband used to be a sex freak but all of a sudden he just changed, like he changed suddenly.

Matthew was as tall as Walt he had veiny hands and I think we all know what that means yeah? He used to love kissing and sucking my boobs a lot, he would never go a day without doing those two things but everything stopped at once, and has been wondering what happened.

“Oh babe have missed you so much, I missed your touches all over my body and how you make me feel”

I was more than happy as I said those words to him but I still wondered why he changed and I wanted to know.

He took me to the bed and continued kissing me, then he stopped and looked into my eyes.

“Why did you fuck Walt, Martha?”

For a minute I stopped breathing, I was left speechless. My whole body failed me as I was unable to move.

“Matthew, what did you say?”

“You want to know why I changed all of a sudden? Lisha your friend from high school I met her at the store about 3 months ago, and she told me about your fling with Walt, at first I didn't believe but, but whenever I looked at you I would always picture you and Walt together, and I completely lost all interest, so I decided to ask Walt about it when we got here, and he didn't lie to me he told me everything and said I should let it go, it's been over 8 years and he was right, I think I needed someone to tell me that.
