Chapter 41 Got you

Chapter 41 Got you
Uriel's POV

Guilt consumed me, swallowing me whole.

I couldn't bear to look straight into my father's eyes.

He was going to be ashamed of me.

I was no longer the little he trained not to tell lies. The little girl that held no secrets from him.

God.

I couldn't live with myself. I was a walking shell.

"Uriel, your date is waiting!" Emma yelled from upstairs.

I hissed because she was going to wake Dad from his nap. She was so loud.

I had totally forgotten about that outing with Chase until he showed up by my door few minutes ago.

My hand ruffled my hair frustrated, my eyes burning holes into my dresser.

Nothing made sense.

Shaking my head, I threw the thick black hoodie that Ryder gave me, over my not so fancy gown.

Lazily, I dragged myself out of the room.

"Make sure she doesn't forget this date. I want good news." I heard Emma tell Chase.

"It's not a date." I announced, eyeing the both of them. "And gee, cut the act. It's sickening."

"Oh, I'm not acting." Emma's chuckle sent shivers down my spine. An unsettling feeling sank down my guts but I shook it off immediately.

"Let's get over with this." I muttered under my breath, letting Chase so sweetly open the door of his car for me.

My eyes caught onto the tinted glass, my heart pricking me.

"Come on, the car doesn't bite Uriel." His voice was quite sharp but then he slapped in a small fake chuckle.

One last outing and that's all.

I mentally told myself.

Emma waved at me, giggling. I rolled my eyes at her. She and Chase shared some kind of look, sending shivers down my spine.

"Just movies and I'd return you home on time." Chase said it to me like he was reciting some well practiced phrase.

Nonchalantly, I nodded.

"This hoodie looks familiar, you know." Chase said, eyeing it.

"Right?" was all I said, throwing my face to the roadside, my eyes heavy.

I heard Chase growl lowly, turning up the radio into a full blast.

Despite how loud the song was, I could still hear my heart beat from the guilt. My inner voice was the loudest, calling me a 'liar.'

"Shall we?" My eyes snapped wide open, looking at Chase confusingly as he held my side of the door open.

"Movie?" He raised his eyebrow at me, his tone laced with annoyance.

"Oh right." I nodded, stepping out.

We walked in silent, the only sound that echoed was that of our shoes tapping the ground. I wondered why.

"There's... There's no one here?" I asked, eyeing the place wearily.

"Thought I'd make this special." Chase smirked, holding open the door to a room. "Come on, just enter." He placed his hand on the small of my back, pushing me inside.

My eyes shakily moved around, taking in the scene. A bed was positioned in the middle of the room, neatly arranged. On it too was a phone tablet and junk.

The sound of the door clicking, made my heart skip. Abruptly, I spun around to face him.

"You said it was going to be a theatre. You know, cinema theatre?" I frowned slightly.

"Oh, learn to live." He rolled his eyes, picking up a canned juice. The 'shh' sound of the canned drink increased my pulse.

"Chase..."

He pulled me by my hand, forcing me to sit. "I won't hurt you, Uriel. Emma knows we're out so there's a witness."

As if I could bank on Emma.

"Y... yeah." I clutched my purse closer by my side, remembering I had a pen and a sharp edged hair pin.

"Do you have any movie recommendations? Oh, don't worry. Girls love romance." Chase chuckled, placing the drink in my hand.

"Thanks."

He wrapped his hand around my shoulder, leaning closer. I swallowed hard, my grip tightening around the can.

"You'll love it. Just relax." He cooed, smirking.

"I'm relaxed." I forced a smile, placing the drink on my lips, pretending to sip.

"Cool!"

He went ahead to start the movie, sitting close to me since I wouldn't lay down.

10 minutes into the porno - Sorry, movie, and his hand was placed on my thigh.

"You like these type of movies, don't you?" His tone was low, barely audible.

So I acted like I didn't hear him but adjusted my leg, pushing his hand off my thigh.

He adjusted closer, his heat crawling up my skin. The hairs in my neck stood. I used my elbow to clutch my purse tight.

"I love girls who love to play innocent, you know." Chase's fingers slightly brushed my hair to the side. "What's your type of boys?"

"I... I don't have a type." I moved back cautiously.

He grabbed a handful of my hair, tugging it closer as he took a long sniff of my hair.

What the fuck?

"Chase..."

"Girls always say what they don't mean, do you know that?" His hand gripped my neck hard, looking into my eyes. " Stop. I don't like bad boys. Go slower. All lies." He chuckled darkly.

My breathing changed its tempo. My chest heaved up and down, my fingers trembling beside me.

"I won't hurt you. Relax." His hand found my thigh, clutching it like I stole from him.

"Then...then let's focus on the movie." I choked out through gritted teeth.

"You know, I've always wondered what he saw in you." Chase's eyes darkened, leaning closer. "It's your innocence. You're so clueless and naive and uninfected."

He chuckled darkly, caging me between his legs in a swift moment.

"Stop this Chase." I warned, placing my hand on his chest, pushing him - but to no avail.

He was stronger.

He overpowered me, pressing himself down. His fingers dug into my face as he steadied it, crashing his lips on my tightly pressed lips.

My legs ruffled the bed, trying to break out from his barricade. I dug my nails into his chest, dragging it down.

But he wouldn't budge.

Instead, he laughed.

He yanked my dress up, my two hands pinned on my chest. His large palm roamed my thigh unapologetically, feeling me up.

"Please stop, Chase. I beg you." I cried, my eyes tearing up.

"See? There's the lie you girls tell. I can tell you love it rough, Uriel." He leaned down to my ear, whispering.

I shook my head but stopped.

"Okay fine." I sniffled, nodding my head. "You got me. Do you have condom at least?" My voice broke as I asked.

He smiled, patting my cheek. He forcefully slammed his lips on my lips, trying to get me to open up for him.

I tilted my face to the side, tears cascading down my eyes. "G..get the condoms. Please."

"Oh yes!" He nodded, releasing my hands from his grip, but his other hand stayed glued to my thigh, a finger hooking the side of my tight that had ridden up to my undies level.

My hand trembled as I found my purse that still stayed glued to my corner.

"Where is this shit!" He hissed, searching his pockets seriously, taking his other hand away from my thigh.

The cold metal touched my finger tip, making my chest unknot a bit. When he turned to me, I froze.

"Here it is!" He dangled the small pack in my front. "Time to spread them legs, baddie."

I swallowed hard, my eyes fluttering. My nose flared as I watched him tear the condom open.

The minute he brought out his full length, I brought out the hair pin, pointing it on his throat.

My hands shook so violently I almost dropped the pin, but then I pressed it into my finger so hard that it hurt.

"Get away from me if you don't want to see how far this can go." I sneered.

"You can't - ahhhhh!!!" He screamed when I stabbed the sharp tip on his shoulder. "Fucking bitch."

Before he could react, I kneed him in his groin, jumping out of the bed as he rolled, crying in agony.

"You'll regret this bitch." was all he yelled as I battled to unlock the door.

Once the fresh air hit my face, I let out a heavy breath. My legs were wobbly from the shock but I managed to force myself out of there.

The tears wouldn't stop falling as I stood under the rain, waiting for a cab.

Even the rain couldn't wash away this new scar that slowly carved into my heart.

My phone rang making me jerk up. With blurry eyes, I tried to decline but ended up answering it.

"Kennedy? Where are you?"

All hell broke when I heard those familiar husky voice. The sobs increased.

"Uriel? Speak to me. Where the fuck are you? Are you okay? Did something happen? Who is the fucker?" Ryder's voice was nowhere calm.

I covered my mouth, trying to muffle my sobs but I couldn't.

"Please Uriel, I'm begging you."

"It's.. it's Chase, Ry." I cried, my breath heaving. "Chase tried to... tried to take advantage of me. He -"

The line went dead.

My heart sank.

Then I felt it... It began to crawl up. Everything and everyone doubled.

"Got you."
