Chapter 8: Beginning of ceremony
"Miss Moore, do you...?"
Oliva listened in the distance in her tired head, it seemed more her voice of annoying consciousness calling her non-stop with extremely loud and unnecessary beat.
"Miss Moore, do you...?"
The voice gained more strength and the girl’s mind was directed to her instantly as she felt her heavy eyes rolling behind her eyelid, not even having the strength to open it.
"Miss, would you like me to open the door?"
In a jump, Oliva wakes up afraid of still being in the guest room next to Lian, but soon calms down to realize that the ceiling and walls were from her own room. She forcibly sits sleepily and notes that she was lying on the carpet in the middle of the room, half of her body was covered with the cloak of white Wolf taxed by Matteo and wearing only a torn pantie, had red tones with hickeys all over the length of her breasts that followed even the inner thighs and her body still felt tired and sore.
How’d you get there?
She hears another call coming from Marie from the hallway and then answers it.
"No breast, I’m fine" responds a little loud and awkward by the voice fails and then tries to disguise forcing a little more his sore and dry throat. "Am I running late?"
"No. But you should start preparing right now." The lady advises and Oliva sighs heavily. "Her costume is here hanging on the door."
That day would be hell for her.
"Thank you. If I need anything, I’ll let you know." she says, and Marie knows that even if she needed it she clearly wouldn’t call her.
Oliva hears the thick heels of the governess dissipate through the corridor and is forced to stand, curls up again in this fateful cloak covering his entire naked and weak body, unlocks and opens the door with all care, She did not want anyone to see her in this situation where she would clearly have to lie if questioned, but her eyes widen when she comes across the pair of shoes that had solid feet like a concrete pillar stuck in front of her room.
She had a slight jolt when she lifted her gaze, staring at Matteo who passes her expression of wanting to arrange confusion with the wind for satisfaction in a matter of seconds. The boy uncrosses his arms, and it seems that the entire wall of ego he was carrying falls and falls apart into millions of tiny pieces, he steps forward and reaches the girl’s costume and then extends it to her in a gentle way.
Olive, which accompanies every detail with strangeness and frown, feels being scanned by the alpha’s attentive eyes makes her blush and speechless and just grabs the hanger from the Wolf’s hand and does not think twice before closing the door again in his face without even thanking him.
That was bizarre even for me, what’s wrong with him? — you ask.
The wedding would be in the garden. Oliva walked the halls of the mansion ignoring the guests who were still there wanting to see the internal war between her unshakable personality verses her duties as the sole heiress of the great Moore family.
Omega still discredited that would give in to the whim of the father, not all the perfect makeup on his face could mask the dissatisfaction he felt, that long white dress worked with a nude lace fitted on her torso and the low straight neckline highlighted her average breasts, it was a beautiful costume for a bride. But she wasn’t a bride.
Definitely did not want to be self-deprecating, already did this while bathing quickly, makeup and eating breakfast mixed in that state of chaos without even remembering what happened during the night, the more time is alone with your thoughts, more willing to run away from all this felt.
The girl hurried the steps to the lawn and was surprised how much Matteo had overcome with very few hours to organize a ceremony, even if simple, it was still a wedding and everything was very well-organized and beautiful. The appetizer table was decorated with many red roses and drinks for all tastes under a vintage-style tent, people were scattered across the lawn and a little away, had a small altar adorned with a red walkway and a decorative arch with feathers and balloons.
And the winning Alpha was farther away from everyone and talked to the lawyer and Samuel, he wore a dark gray suit with a great tailoring cut and a gleaming tie clip in silver or white gold, her slightly wavy hair was combed back and some small rebellious strands fell on her forehead and as she felt the girl’s brazen drying, Matteo found her looking without difficulty catching her off guard, He said something to the men in front of him and smiled charmingly at the girl,—than Oliva realized holding her breath for too long and felt her face warm and soon turned away, dodging the looks coming from him.
He was beautiful with Lian. But he wasn’t Lian and that’s what he had to remember.
Samuel, when he realized that his sister had already gone down, ran towards her, abandoning them both.
"Ow, Matteo is right. You look stunning." he says stopping in front of his sister. "Just missed the cover, I already ask Marie to bring it."
"Will I need to wear that dead?" Oliva questions raising an eyebrow.
"Matteo said yes." he says and observes the reaction of the girl. "I know now is not the best time, but he has not yet explained to me about his boyfriend... he knows what will happen in a few minutes?" Samuel asks cautiously.
The girl sighs, he does not know if he could trust his brother and say that he would continue to sneak out with the boyfriend that by the work of fate would be the brother of her husband, what would they think of her? Samuel would never support her at this point, it was too low even for her.
"It’s about to start, baby, take the cover." Marie says as she approaches the brothers and extends the heavy skin on the hands of the boy who looks deeply into Oliva’s eyes and assists her by placing the piece and pulls the hood and Samuel faces the empty eyes of the wolf that were open on top of the sister’s head.
"You made the right choice, Oliv. Thank you." Samuel whispers to just her to listen and smiles proud of his sister.
And why don’t I feel it? — the words float around Oliva’s head as she responds with a half-smile to her brother.
