Chapter 7: Chapter Seven
The men stationed in the entrance of the Alpha king office spotted Oliver approaching and they couldn't help but sneer. To them, it felt like the perfect opportunity to bully this frail little omega male.
“Excuse me, please I would like to meet the Alpha, Is he in?” Oliver's voice came out soft and small.
One of the men bent down to glare at Oliver straight in the eyes, “Oh, look who we have here? Another omega believing that they could have funny fantasies about the Alpha….hohoho”
The other two gigantic men chuckled to his non-existent joke. Oliver gulped, his fingers clenching into fists as a sick feeling curled deep inside his stomach and the overwhelming urge to vomit came crashing down but he took a deep breath in, standing his ground.
“Is laughing at Alpha Grey's clients who came to visit part of your job or you willingly chose to overstep your boundaries?” Oliver asked, his lips pressed into a thin line.
“Alpha Grey’s client?” His laughter only increased as he mocked, “Then If you're the alpha’s client, I might as well be the luna”
Soon after, their laughter died down and their gaze turned hostile, “You really have guts, pretending to be the Alpha’s client while trying to get into his office so you can seduce him. You should be thankful you ran into a lenient man like me and because I am lenient, I will give you a chance”
Oliver already knew what his words were before he even said it.
“If you give us your body for one night then we will forget your mistake, how about that?”
Oliver smiled weakly. Though this was Oliver's first time of coming to the Alpha’s office and meeting this bunch of douchebags, Oliver didn’t need a seer to tell him that this wasn’t the first time they offered such a disgusting proposal. For some reason, Oliver couldn’t help but imagine another frail omega trembling and having no other choice but to give in and serve these disgusting men just to survive.
Yes, survive.
Oliver knew that if this offer in question was turned down then the consequences would be dire.
Thinking about it, anger coursed through Oliver’s body in waves. The feeling was surprising, and something new to Oliver who almost never gets angry.
Never until now.
“And if I refuse?” Oliver asked, even though the answer was obvious.
“Then I will make sure you regret that. Do I need to go into details?” Another spoke up this time.
“Then please, take it easy on me” Oliver replied, his gaze sinking to the floor as every will to fight left his body.
Seeing the dejection and tired look on Oliver's face brought a smirk on each of their faces. The one who had been doing most of the talking from the beginning, grabbed his arm roughly as a string of drool dripped down the side of his lips. He brought his face closer as he spoke, his soured breath hitting Oliver's nose making him cough and almost gag.
“We will definitely take it easy on you. Right, boys?” He asked his men who answered with a hypocritical ‘yes’.
“Take him to the room and get him oiled up. We could take turns, shifts after shifts” The man spoke again, his bulge getting evident in his pants.
“You got me wrong” Oliver spoke up as he pulled his frail wrist from the man’s strong grip, “When I said take it easy on me, what made you believe I was referring to sex or accepting your offer in any way?”
“What do you mean?” The man's features twisted with fury, an angry scowl settling sharply across his face.
“I don’t plan on fucking any of you. I mean, when you hit me, you’ve got to take it easy on me, because if you go too far, you’ll all be losing your jobs,” Oliver said. To the men present, he appeared fearless and unwavering—something they saw as Oliver courting death.
Meanwhile, Oliver’s fingers couldn’t stop trembling, a psychological action that only occurred when Oliver was scared. In fact, Oliver was so scared that he feared he might shit himself. They could kill him and bury his body in a place no one will find it, heck, no one will care enough to even realize that he was gone.
Oh, Except his siblings.
Lily. Luke. He could only hope that they will be alright.
The first punch came, his head snapping back from the impact as blood gushed down his nose like a rushing stream. Oliver’s mind went black, as his consciousness started to fade.
“Oh, come on. We haven’t even started, so don’t—” The man’s voice cut off as he slammed Oliver’s head against the wall. “—fall asleep on me.”
Blood quickly streamed down Oliver’s face, soaking his clothes and pooling heavily on the floor beneath him. Oliver had never craved death as much as he did now. The pain was too overwhelming, continuously flooding his whole body and senses yet he didn’t die or pass out. Why?! Just fcking why?!
“Stop hitting him, boys. Omega whores like him can’t learn their lesson this way” The man smirked, his fist and shirt wet from Oliver’s blood, “Take him to the room and tie him up naked. Our shifts are almost over” The man didn’t need to say much.
Oliver was seized roughly and hoisted onto one of their shoulders. He hung limp and weightless, like a lifeless body. If not for the faint rise and fall of his chest, they would have sworn he was dead.
Before the man could take ten steps out of there, a commanding figure loomed over, his presence sending shivers of fear down their spines. They quickly bowed, “Alpha”
His golden eyes gazed down at Oliver hoisted weakly onto the man’s shoulder. Unknown to them, the frail omega they had just abused was not just Alpha Grey’s mate but also the rightful luna of the pack.
Mates are chosen by the Moon Goddess, and their connection is far deeper than a simple relationship. It’s a sacred bond—one that intertwines their emotions, their sensations, even their pain. About an hour ago, Alpha Grey was suddenly hit with a wave of overwhelming fear and discomfort, emotions he knew weren’t his own. Moments later came the sharp ache of blows, followed by a crushing sense of restlessness and emptiness. And that’s when he understood—his mate was suffering.
The moment that emptiness settled in his chest, something else ignited beneath it—rage. Not the wild anger of a man, but the primal fury of an Alpha whose mate was in danger. Grey’s wolf surged forward, snarling inside his mind, demanding blood. His hands trembled, not from fear, but from the effort it took to keep himself from tearing through the man in front of him right then and there.
Grey’s jaw clenched, eyes darkening as his power rolled off him in waves.
