Chapter 93: Punished
She didn’t know where she found the courage to protest. Her voice had been shaky, her
words uncertain, but she had spoken. And somehow, to her shock, he had agreed. Not
before leaning forward, his piercing gaze locked onto the driver as he ordered the window
to be lowered.
His voice was low, a whisper that carried menace and finality.
“Any mark on her, and mine will be the last face you see.”
The driver, a man who looked like he’d seen the worst humanity had to offer, trembled. His
adam's apple bobbed as he gulped. His head bobbed furiously in agreement, his fear
palpable. No words were needed; Shehryaar's presence alone was enough to command
respect, obedience, and submission. His tailored suit, his unshakable aura, and those sharp,
penetrating eyes left no room for rebellion.
Now, as the car drove her home, Sheharzaad couldn’t stop replaying the moment in her
head. The memory felt surreal, like a scene she had witnessed rather than lived. Her entire
being was wired with tension, the earlier events still clinging to her like a dark shadow.
He had told her he’d drop her back himself, but she had protested again. Her voice had
faltered, but she’d insisted she could manage on her own. He had only chuckled, a sound
that sent a ripple of unease through her, and allowed her to leave. That was the extent of her
victory. A small and fleeting one.
There was silence. Just the pressing of the keys of the keyboard could be heard every now
and then. Then he closed his laptop and focused his eyes on her. He kept on looking at her
then. His one hand played with his stubble while the other rested on the armrest.
Tingles.
She felt tingles arising in her body as his eyes raked her startled form. His keen grey eyes.
The sensation spread through her body as his eyes, sharp and unwavering, raked over her.
Those keen grey eyes seemed to pierce through her very soul, stripping her bare. She sat
frozen, unable to break eye contact, even though her instincts screamed at her to look away.
The smoldering gaze collided with hers and then he uttered a sentence powerful enough to
slip the ground beneath her feet.
“Did Ahmed propose to you?” His voice was calm, almost conversational, but the weight of
his words sent a chill down her spine.
Her response was abrupt, almost panicked. “No.”
His lips twitched into a lopsided smile.
“So naïve of you to think I wouldn’t know,” he murmured, his voice carrying an edge of
mockery.
She froze, her heart hammering in her chest. Her grey eyes fluttered between the time
displayed on her phone and his unreadable expression. She wasn’t just calculating the time
left for the flight to land, she was trying to estimate how much damage he could do to her in
that time.
“He didn’t,” she repeated, her voice faltering. She tried to meet his gaze, but it was too
intense, too overwhelming. Her eyes drifted downward, settling on his chest instead.
His perfectly shaped thick brow. It almost seemed like they were having a civil
conversation. His expression, however, remained unreadable.
“I cut him off, as you told me to,” she added, the lie spilling from her lips before she could
stop herself.
“My girl is so obedient, isn’t she?” he said, his tone laced with mockery.
'I cut him off as you said,' She started again, maintaining her lie, and noticed her voice came
out wobbly. Tremulous. One glance of her grey eyes at her hands and then she noticed, her
nails digging into her palms to stop them from shivering. This time around he remained
quiet.
He didn’t respond immediately. Instead, he extended his arm toward her, motioning with
his fingers for her to come closer.
“Come here.”
Her heart stopped. Every part of her screamed to refuse, but her body betrayed her. Slowly,
she rose from her seat and stepped toward him, her legs shaking with every step. When she
was close enough, he took her hands in his. His grip was firm, his touch surprisingly warm
as he stared up at her.
'Oh le cose che voglio fare con te' He had whispered.
(Oh the things I want to do with you)
She blinked, her mind struggling to process the foreign words. She didn’t understand what
he had said, but the intensity in his voice made her stomach twist.
And then, before she could react, he pulled her down onto his lap. His arm snaked around
her waist, holding her firmly in place. He leaned in, inhaling deeply, his nose buried in her
hair as though he were drawing strength from her scent.
Her body tensed as his fingers brushed against her lips. His touch was light but deliberate,
tracing their shape with maddening precision. Her gaze drifted to the clouds visible through
the airplane window, desperate for an escape.
“And you let him touch you,” he murmured, his breath hot against her ear.
Her lips parted, but no words came out. She shook her head vehemently, trying to deny his
accusation, but he wasn’t satisfied.
His fingers pressed against her lips, slipping past them into her mouth. Her eyes widened in
shock, and she let out a muffled sound of protest.
'Were you this frank with him?'
She could only shake her head in negative.
'I see you love to disobey, my doll,'
With his fingers in her mouth, she couldn't utter a word.
'As for punishment for letting him near you, I'd have you orgasm here on my lap'
Her eyes widened in shock.
'Suck,'
His command came.
And he did make her reach her climax as his fingers not just entered her mouth but other
forbidden areas.
She was breathless by that time.
Limbs shaken.
Heart shaken.
Her trance broke when she saw her house and before she knew she was already rushing
inside. She wanted to take a shower.
She wanted to cry her heart out.
She wanted to pity herself.
She wanted to escape Shehryaar.
Escape the cage, he had locked her in. Only because she had caught his eye.
