Chapter 63: You'll be coming with me

While inside, he was having a talk with that woman.

Shehryaar's eyes scrutinized the woman closely. She was one of the top models in the

country and was hired by him to do money laundering.

"How much will you pay me, Shehryaar?" she asked, sipping on her wine. She was here to

lock the deal. Shehryaar paid her well, and she was here for that.

"3.5 million dollars."

She immediately looked up with widened eyes. "Deal."

"One of my men will come to you with details: day, date, time, and place. He will give you all

the information."

"Fine. I will wait," she said.

"Sign it," he said, forwarding a paper that she signed, followed by him signing the deal.

"You can leave," he said while standing up, so she stood up too.

When she didn't move to leave, he raised a questioning brow.

"But I have one more request," she whispered.

"What is it?" he asked.

She began to walk toward him with a seductive smile on her face. She chewed her lips on

purpose while approaching him. Midway, she grabbed the dupatta pinned across her neck

and threw it away.

"You know what I want," she began to play with the buttons of his shirt.

"What do you want?" he whispered, holding her hands that were touching him.

She looked up at him, running her tongue over her lower lip.

"Just once more," she muttered, her voice heavy with desire. "I want a repeat of that night."

His lips twitched into an unnoticeable smirk.

She placed her hand on his neck and proceeded to give him a hickey when he held her neck.

The grip wasn't tight but firm.

"Touch me once more, and I won't hesitate to cut you into pieces," he warned, her eyes

widening as he pushed her away before dusting off where she had touched.

"If I'm so untouchable, Shehryaar, then why did you make love to me that night?" her voice

rose.

"Keep your voice down."

She immediately quieted. "Fine, I won’t work with you," she whispered, but this time kept

her voice low.

"I’ll simply kill you," he said calmly, with a smile.

Her mouth dropped open. "You know what else I can do."

She kept quiet and looked down.

"Now you know what to do."

"I apologize for my misconduct."

"Good. Come closer."

A spark entered her eyes as she quickly stepped closer to him.

Grasping her chin, he tilted her head up, meeting her eyes, and began to speak in a low

whisper, "Just so you know, I don't make love. I f," his voice was barely a whisper.

The intensity in his eyes and his deep, dark tone made her take a step back, but he held her

waist, stopping her. She looked down, and he lightly tapped her chin, indicating for her to

look up, so she did.

"I f, and I don’t f a woman twice. Now leave my office before I count to five," he said,

and she rushed out.

He sat back in his chair, watching the door close. His eyes closed momentarily as he took a

deep breath. He hated being touched by anyone. Especially without his permission. He had a

bit of OCD and could still feel her touch on his neck.

It was his rule: he didn’t f the same woman twice. One-night stands were his preference;

he wouldn’t repeat a night with the same woman. In his mind, women he had been with

were "used," and he didn’t want a used thing near him or touching him.

Lost in thought, a knock sounded on the door. He opened his eyes and looked up. "Enter," he

permitted.

He saw Sheharzaad enter through the door and place a file on his table, all the while keeping

her gaze down, not meeting his eyes.

"What you asked for," she informed him. Shehryaar looked up, glancing at her in a particular

way that suddenly made her breath hitch. "Sir," she whispered, completing her sentence.

She understood the look he gave her.

"Good," he said. "What were you doing?" he asked, sliding the file to his end of the table.

"I... uh... nothing, sir," she suddenly grew nervous at his casual tone.

"I have assigned other tasks to you as well, apart from this file," he glanced at the file’s

content before looking up. She, who had been staring at him, suddenly shifted her gaze to

his chest.

"I... remember... and I am working, sir."

"I gave you a deadline."

"Actually, actually," she began, but nothing came to mind. He was a workaholic and

expected her to be one as well. Since he had given her loads of work with a short deadline,

she said, "I am working... it’s just that... it will take some time. I am still learning, and... the

deadline was short."

"I don’t want excuses. I am extending the deadline until tomorrow. Before I come to my

office, you should be here with your work,"

"Okay, sir," she replied, still looking down, avoiding his gaze, "I will finish my work

tomorrow earliest,"

"Before I get into my office," he stressed, raising his brows.

"Yes, sir. I.. I will," she stuttered. She didn't like the tinge of anger in his voice.

"And, yeah, I forgot to tell you I’m going to Dubai for a business deal within a few days."

She just nodded, wondering why he was telling her that. Being new to this environment, she

assumed it must be important for a P.A. to know about her boss's official visits.

"We will extend our business in the UAE too. I have an important meeting with the owner of

a prominent hotelier,"

She nodded again.

"And this deal will be important to secure," he said, noticing confusion in her expression. He

was somewhat amused.

"Why are you telling me this?"

"You will be coming with me," he announced.

She was quick to shake her head in denial, her eyes widening in surprise. That would be the

last thing she would want to happen.
