"Why are you giving us this treat and that too outside the campus?" Khushi asked after finishing her ice cream.
"I just wanted to." I replied shrugging.
"Really? Or there is something else?" Anita asked raising her eyebrow.
"Or instead of something there is someone?" Khushi asked winking.
"Why did you guys didn't ask any questions while taking the treat?" I asked both of them glaring.
"Well at that time ice cream was important for us." Khushi replied and high fived Anita.
"You both are so mean. Anyway let's go." I said and started walking towards our college.
"What's the hurry Ri?" Khushi asked standing on my right side and Anita on my left.
"Lunch break is over guys. So let's just go." I replied shaking my head.
They laughed and we three entered the campus. Then we just started walking towards our class.
"Hey! I forgot my bag in the canteen." Khushi said stopping all of us.
"Who does that?" I said shaking my head in disappointment and Anita copied my action.
"Well I am not the one who dragged her friends from the canteen before they could even finish their lunch." She said rolling her eyes.
"I am so sorry for doing such a huge mistake." I said placing hand on my heartbeat.
"I don't need your sorry but just bring my bag to me." She said blowing air on her nails.
"Are you serious?" I asked her raising my eyebrow.
"I am!" she replied folding her hands.
"You are lucky that you are my friend." I said and turned to walk away towards the canteen after she took my bag from me so that she can enter class with something in her hands.
When I entered the canteen I got the surprise of my life. I mean not in that range but I never thought I would see this miracle with my eyes in my life for sure.
I rubbed my eyes few times to make sure that I am not dreaming. What I am actually seeing is Sid and his two friends are cleaning the canteen.
"Wow Sid! I never thought you have this good habit in you." I said walking towards those three.
"Oh.. hey.. Uhm.. Ritika! Yeah.. this.. this is nothing. We always do this." Sid said smiling awkwardly along with his two friends.
"That's really a great thing to do." I said and started helping them.
"Sid! Here take this garbage bin. I threw the old garbage outside." I heard Kalyan's voice nearing us while I have bended to take few wrappers.
"Uhmm.. Kalyan." Sid started to say but Kalyan punched the table making him stop.
"I still can't believe that we are cleaning this canteen. We got this punishment just because of that Ritika." He said and I looked up to see their two friends scratching their heads.
"Kalyan! You know she.." Sid started to say but Kalyan stopped him again.
"Yeah! She is the main reason because of which we fought and Princi gave this punishment. I will kill her in the next second if she is standing infront of me right now." He said and that looked like my call.
So I got up and stood infront of him. He looked at me wide eyed and backed away.
"By the way I am standing infront of you." I said raising my eyebrow.
"Yeah! I can... see that. I have eyes you see." He said backing away little more.
I don't know why but I smiled at his behavior. He looked confused which made me smile more and I just started laughing.
"Are you ok?" he asked frowning.
"Yeah, yeah! I am fine." I replied.
"Hi! My name is Ritika. Nice to meet you." I said forwarding my hand.
He looked at it for few minutes with doubt and then at me continuously. But finally shook it saying "I am Kalyan. Nice to meet you too."
"And I am Sid." Sid said pushing Kalyan away and held my hand.
"I am Ram and he is Rahim." Said another guy also introducing other guy.
Then I started looking around frowning for few seconds and they four looked at me confused.
"You are looking for whom?" Kalyan asked.
"Where is he?" I asked them still looking around.
"Who?" This time Sid asked.
"Robert!" I replied like it is the most common thing to say.
For few minutes they just looked at me and then burst out laughing. I laughed with them and took Khushi's bag which was lying at our table.
"So what is your decision?" Sid asked smiling.
"Boyfriend! First show me that poor girl then we will plan something." I replied winking.
Then he suddenly walked near me and hugged tightly. I literally choked on my breath because of his tight hug.
"Idiot! Release her right now." I heard Kalyan shouting and he removed Sid from me.
"Oh sorry! I just couldn't control my happiness." Sid said grinning.
I glared at him along with kalyan and that surprised me. I nodded and left the canteen after exchanging our numbers.
Entering the class I got attacked by Khushi's and Anita's questions regarding where have I been until now. I just said I couldn't find her bag which they believed easily.
I groaned thinking what have I just agreed to.......
*Priya Pov*
"So.. have I talked enough?" He asked after we finished our coffee.
"You are not bad." I replied to which he looked at me shocked.
I laughed at his expression and saw that I am getting late for my next class. Actually the plan is for us to have this Coffee in the evening after college.
But he got some important word to handle at that time so he brought me to the Café in my free period itself.
"I have never talked this much with anyone." He said shaking his head.
I literally was about to ask 'Even with your wife?' but stopped myself from going into that zone.
"Yeah! Even with my wife." He said making me look at him shock this time.
"Was I that readable?" I asked pushing my hair behind my ear looking away.
"I can understand! Anyway as she was my best friend she knows I don't like to talk that much but even if I do, I do it rudely so I never had to act for her." He replied.
"Does that mean you acted with me until now?" I asked him raising my eyebrow.
"Surprisingly no! I didn't act because I just had to talk about my subject and my experience here right." He replied shrugging.
"Yeah!" I said nodding.
"I am sure it must have been so boring to hear all that." He said shaking his head.
"Surprisingly no! I love to hear about the things they are interested than the things they talk because they just had to as per others wish." I said smiling.
"And that is why I am close to my students than the other lecturers." I added.
"I observed! You don't even know what did few lecturers gossiped about you on my first day because of which I got to know what type they are." He said and then widened his eyes after realizing what he just said.
"It's ok! I never give importance to gossips that much. I mean they are named gossips for a reason right. So I hear them with one ear and throw them out with the other." I said assuring him.
"That's good! That's really good." He said few times again and again.
"We need to go! We are getting late for our classes." I said standing up.
He nodded after few seconds and we both started walking towards the college. We crossed half of the road and he suddenly said "Let's date!"
I looked at him wide eyed and just stood there. He pulled me towards him in the next second and then I realized that I stood in the way of a car which was coming towards me but I didn't look at it.
"What?" I asked him thinking that I may have just imagined those words.
"Let's date!" he replied.
"Are you crazy?" I asked him removing my hands from his grip and crossed the remaining road.
"No! But just think. We will just give it a try. I really liked your ideology about everything." He replied and I turned to face him.
"Everything? We just sat there for half an hour and you are talking about everything." I said shaking my head regarding his craziness.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" he asked after few seconds.
"You don't even know about that information about me but you asked me to date you." I said sighing.
"That means you don't have one. So will you date me?" he asked with hopeful expression.
"Urghh.. why are you even asking me that? I mean until yesterday we just fought right." I said rubbing my forehead.
"I don't know! I just wanted to ask you and I did. I always did what I want to do." He said and I looked at him sighing.
"So will you?" he added.
"Why are you asking the same question these many times?" I asked him back.
"You didn't said 'No' even once so that means there is a chance right." He replied which made me want to smile.
I did smile but after turning away from him. Why am I even smiling? I asked myself.
"Suppose we did start dating. But until when?" I asked turning towards him again.
"Should there be any limit?" he asked frowning.
"That's what I am asking. Is there any limit?" I asked him back.
"As far as I know, there is no limit. So does this mean you accept?" he asked smiling a little.
"As crazy as it feels I actually do." I replied closing my eyes.
Then I felt him hugging me which I returned but we released each other within fraction of a second. This is so awkward situation!
"I will call you?" he said it like a question.
"Yeah, yeah! Here I will give you my number." I said talking his phone and saved it in his mobile.
"I really hope you know what you are actually doing." I said looking at him.
"I think I do. But do you?" he asked looking at me.
"I have to figure it I guess." I replied rubbing my hands.
"I really hope you do it fast then." He said.
"Yeah! I too hope so." I said and started walking towards my next class.
After entering it I placed my book on the table and looked at all the students. I just stood there looking at them and they all looked at me confused.
"Is it good to take risk?" I asked them and first they looked at me confused for few seconds.
But slowly they all replied which is the same and that is 'If it gives us happiness then why not.'
Even after hearing those replies there is still only one thought in my mind and that is 'What have I just agreed to?'
