Nathan was fuming 'cause of Diana, and his chest started hurting like crazy. He almost hit the floor.
Mia jumped in to hold him up, her face all sad and a tear sliding down her perfectly made-up face.
"Diana! You tryna give your dad a heart attack or what?" Mia yelled.
Diana just shrugged, looking all chill. "I'm just spitting facts. Is this the first time he noticed we don't share the same last name? Why's he acting all frail?"
Right then, Robert stepped up and handed the will to the cops. "Officer, according to Bianca's will, this house is Diana's now. These three are trespassing."
The cops took a look at the will, got the gist, but still inquired, turning to Nathan, "You said Diana's your ex-wife's kid. Was your ex-wife named Bianca?"
Nathan nodded, still looking lost.
The cop asked again, "You're Nathan, right?"
Nathan looked even more confused. "Yeah, that's me. What's going on?"
"Well, that's that. You gotta leave. The homeowner is Ms. Spencer. You're trespassing," the cop said.
Nathan, Mia, and Clara were all in shock. 'How did the house we've lived in for years suddenly belong to Diana?'
"Officer, there's gotta be a mistake. What will? I've never seen it. They must've faked it!" Nathan asked in confusion.
Bianca died suddenly and never mentioned a will. Diana must be back to snatch the house!
Robert opened the will and showed it off. "I'm a legit lawyer. Bianca's will is notarized. As the notary, I gotta hand over her estate to Diana on her 24th birthday. This house was Bianca's, and now it's Diana's."
Clara, who had taken over Diana's room, wasn't about to give it up. She rushed forward, grabbed the will, and ripped it up in front of everyone.
"Fake! It's all fake! Diana, you can't take my stuff," she screamed.
Robert stayed cool, expecting this. He pulled out another copy from his pocket. "No worries, important docs always have backups. Miss Williams, wanna tear this one too? Go ahead."
Seeing that didn't work, Clara turned to Nathan, hoping he'd stop Diana from taking the house. "Dad, do something!"
"Officer, there's gotta be some misunderstanding. After my ex-wife died, all this stuff naturally became mine. How could she give it to her daughter?" After Bianca's death, Nathan took over everything from the Spencer Group, including this villa.
It made sense for a husband to inherit his wife's stuff, so none of them paid attention to who actually owned the house.
Who would've thought Bianca left such a big surprise for Diana?
Diana's casual and mocking words cut deep. "Don't worry, besides the house, my mom left me other stuff. None of this concerns you. Nathan, you should take your wife and daughter and get used to living a normal life. Good luck."
The cops, getting a bit impatient, still explained, "Normally, you'd be right, but a will is legally binding. You three, please leave."
Clara couldn't handle it. 'Why! This is my home. How could it be Diana's! What right does Diana have! Everything should be mine!'
"Diana..."
Clara tried to rush forward, but the cops stopped her. "Miss Williams, if you cause any more trouble, don't blame us for getting rough!"
Clara's injuries were flaring up, and the cops were clearly siding with the unscathed Diana.
The more Clara thought about it, the madder she got. She started swinging at the cops, yelling, "You cops are in on this with her, trying to kick us out! I'm reporting you!"
The cops didn't see that coming. They took a few hits, getting scratched up on their faces and necks.
But they weren't pushovers. They quickly pinned Clara down and slapped the cuffs on her. "Theft, assault, trespassing, and now attacking an officer. Miss Williams, you're coming with us."
Nathan and Mia's faces went pale, and they quickly pleaded, "Officer! She just lost it for a second. She didn't mean to. Clara, say sorry!"
Clara, totally losing it, struggled to break free but was held tight.
The cops stayed firm. "What's an apology gonna do? Grown-ups need to take responsibility for what they do. Let's go!"
With that, Clara was hauled off.
Nathan and Mia, out of options, followed the cops out of the Spencer Villa.
Finally, it was quiet. Diana stretched lazily. "Robert, clean up this mess, will you? I'm beat and need some sleep."
Robert nodded, as Diana, still kinda recovering, needed her rest.
Meanwhile, the Percy Group got wind of the drama at the Spencer Villa.
Charles, leaning on his desk, couldn't believe Diana was still stirring the pot even after the divorce.
"What's the scoop?" Charles asked.
Nolan reported, "Today, Ms. Spencer came home with a lawyer, saying Miss Williams and her folks were trespassing. During the showdown, Miss Williams attacked Ms. Spencer. Ms. Spencer called the cops, who then arrested Miss Williams and kicked out her parents. Miss Spencer also told her lawyer to file a lawsuit, planning to take this all the way."
"Well, Diana, she's really stepped up her game," Charles said, rubbing his thumb against his knuckle with a sly grin.
There was supposed to be a party tonight, and Clara was his date. But instead of picking her up, he got news she was in jail.
Nolan cautiously asked, "Mr. Percy, since Miss Williams can't go, should I find another date for you?"
Charles put his hand down, crossed his legs, and smirked coldly. "No need. Bring Diana here. Since she went through all this trouble to get rid of Clara and wants to be my date, I gotta oblige her."
Charles emphasized the last part, making Nolan shiver, sensing Diana was in for a rough night.
At the Spencer Villa, Diana was out cold, sleeping soundly.
The room she was in had been Clara's.
It had been remodeled and wasn't her style, but she was too tired to care.
Downstairs, Robert had the servants clean up the mess and started organizing the other stuff listed in the will, planning to hand everything over to Diana when she woke up.
The servants had mixed feelings, unsure if Diana's return was good or bad. If she fired them all, what would they do?
For now, the Spencer Villa was eerily quiet, waiting for Diana to wake up and lay down the law.
