Chapter 20: Finally Waiting for You
At exactly seven o'clock, Kinga's white Maybach supercar stopped in front of La Brasserie restaurant. For the first time in her life, she felt brave and reckless.
The distance from Karpovich's house to La Brasserie restaurant, normally it would take nearly half an hour to get there. But tonight, Kinga shortened it to only fifteen minutes. After stopping the car, her hands were still shaking.
Thinking back, do I think I'm too awesome?"
Driving to the parking lot, Kinga looked out, only then did she realize that it was snowing, but only for a moment.
Getting out of the car, she picked up the phone and called Parker. But after calling three, four times, the phone kept ringing, but no one answered.
Kinga frowned slightly. Looking at the clock, it was past seven o'clock, she had arrived as he promised, but where was he? She looked around in front of her, but she couldn't see him anywhere. Suddenly, she felt lost. She stood there, staring at the main door of the restaurant.
This restaurant was a wedding gift from her father and Mr. Elmer to their fiancée, her mother, and Mrs. Wael. She didn't expect that tonight, this place would be the place where she would miss him, as he promised. Where did he go?
Above, the crystal lights were shining brightly, sparkling, snowflakes were falling, falling on her shoulders, on her hair.
"Snowing... so cold," she muttered. But her feet remained still, letting the snow fall all over her. Tears welled up, should she cry? "Parker, you lied."
"You said you would meet me at seven o'clock, but it's past seven now, so where are you? Parker, you teased me, left me behind, are you happy?"
Suddenly, the phone vibrated again; it was a text message. Kinga was sad, not bothering to look anymore; he must be teasing her again, right? She didn't believe it anymore; she was angry.
Kinga sat down on the ground and cried.
She didn't pay attention to Parker behind her; he had been standing behind her for a while, but she still didn't turn around.
"Snow Princess, if you cry anymore, I'll go back to France," Parker said softly. His voice was extremely warm, full of love for the girl sitting on the white snow.
Kinga was sobbing, hearing a noise from behind, she stopped, her eyes were still filled with tears, red, she turned around, raised her face to look.
"Parker. Is that you?" She wiped her tears with both hands and looked closely again.
"It's him," Kinga affirmed in her heart.
In front of her eyes, Parker, with a tall figure, wearing a dark blue knee-length coat and a white high-necked T-shirt, around his neck was an ivory-white scarf, the same color as the scarf he was holding in his hand.
His face was extremely handsome, his smile was bright and perfect as he looked at her, his hair was also covered with white snow just like hers, making him even more mischievous. "He's been waiting for me since this afternoon?"
Kinga's legs were slightly numb, she just stared at him, her mouth was speechless, crying again.
Parker looked at his princess's appearance, and he couldn't help but laugh in his heart. He walked over, sat down opposite her. He patiently said:
"Kinga, if you keep crying, I'll go back to France." After he finished speaking, he stood up, turned around, but just after taking a step, his waist was tightly hugged by someone's two small arms.
"Who let you go, Parker, you hateful thing? I won't let you go, don't even think about leaving me in this life." Kinga sobbed.
Compared to him, her figure was too small; she had to tiptoe to hug him, her small face pressed against his broad back, warm.
Parker smiled gently. he immediately turned around, his two large arms tightly hugged the little girl. his heart trembled with happiness, he finally got to see her again after more than twenty years apart.
"Kinga, I miss you, I miss you so much, do you know?" Parker buried his head in her shoulder, whispering, his voice warm, earnest, and full of love.
"I miss you too, I miss you so much. I'm afraid you won't come back." Kinga's eyes were red, choked with tears.
Fearing that she would be cold from the snow, as if suddenly remembering, Parker immediately took the remaining woolen scarf from before, carefully wrapped it around her neck, and said:
"Kinga, let me see you for a moment. Okay?"
She did not answer him, only nodded slightly in agreement.
With Kinga's consent, Parker looked at her attentively. From the previous video call, he had only seen her through the screen; he knew she was very beautiful, but at that time, his feelings were not very genuine.
But tonight was different; the girl he was holding in his arms right now was Kinga, his snow princess, the person he had been missing day and night for so long.
Her face was a little pale from the cold, but still extremely beautiful, simple, and pure. Her lips were red without makeup. Her eyes were sparkling, jet black, and big. Her eyebrows were very delicate. His fiancée had grown up; she was very beautiful.
"Kinga, you are so beautiful!" Parker exclaimed and praised her seriously.
After saying that, his lips touched Kinga's lips, which were suddenly kissed by him, but she did not resist, just obediently letting him kiss her.
She told herself: "In this life, I will love him, and will only dedicate this life to him. So, this first kiss, I will consider it the second gift he gave me."
Parker's kiss changed from gentle to passionate, from probing to invasive. He lightly bit around her small lips, making her already red lips even redder.
During the kiss, he did not forget to hold her tightly, very tightly, as if afraid that if he let go, she would disappear.
Kinga also shyly responded to him. The two of them kissed for a long time, very deeply, as if it was still not enough, not enough to make up for the years of separation.
After a long while, the two of them let go of each other, and his lips and hers were both red. Kinga was embarrassed and lowered her head, not daring to look at him.
Parker was also embarrassed, but he quickly hid that feeling. He held her hand and said, "My princess, let's go, I have a surprise for you."
Pulled by his hand, Kinga hurriedly followed, her face flushed, "That's great, I finally waited for him."
The kiss he just gave her was real, he was real too, no longer a dream, she smiled brightly. "Thank you, Parker. Thank you for always loving and waiting for me."
Under the restaurant lights, snowflakes fell gently, landing on every leaf, every window, then landing on his and her hair, then sliding down, landing on the green grass.
The sky was cold and covered in snow, and everything became cold because of that. There was only one thing that was always warm, that existed forever, that was the love from the heart, the emotions in his and her hearts.
In the white snow, Parker held Kinga's hand and led her away. The two figures stood out in the winter snow.
As long as we are together, no matter how cold it is, we will be warm. No matter how sad we are, we will be happy, together forever.
