Chapter 4

I am still in my room getting ready to go out and I am wearing my yellow four steps flayer gown and a brown sandal, I put my hair in a ponytail and did a little makeup since it is Saturday. I heard a knock on my door as well as the doorbell ringing at the same time. I head downstairs to see who is at the door and it was Kiki as guessed. She is looking so magnificent.

“Woo, you are looking breathe taking darling” she commented and hugged me “I know, and you aren’t looking bad either,” I said trying to let go of her hug

“I wanted to shop and get myself some new stuff, so can you follow me?” she asked excitedly “huh, I actually have to get to the grocery store” I replied with pity showing on my face She looked sour for a while before she brightens up again “I have an idea,” she said shaking my shoulder

“what is it” I replied looking at her to explain “We can do both together and whine away time by doing that” she shrieked

I actually have to do my laundry, but it can be postponed.

“Let me go get my purse,” I said running upstairs and I quickly grabbed my purse and unplugged my phone from the socket We both left the house in her 2015 pencil Camry model, Kiki was the one driving which I am grateful for, one day off behind the steering. we are currently listening to LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE by Rihanna and I am currently on my social media. I was busy reading a very hot tweet on Twitter when a message popped up from WhatsApp, so I switched to WhatsApp and it was Kyle.

Kyle…… “Hey”

Me………. “what sup now”

Kyle…...... “I will be returning soon”

Me……. “I will be so glad to see you again”

I switched back to Twitter and later went to check my short messages to see I have gotten a message from Fed Fed 10:01---- It's Saturday, can you guys visit us?

Me 10:32---- we’ve got schedules for today already Fed 10:33----- please please please I looked up at Kiki who is busy driving and using her head to dance to the song playing in the speaker “Fed is asking if we can visit them today,” I said looking at Kiki

“Wooo hooo” she screamed over the music “We have got a tight schedule girl,” I said looking more serious than ever “Please now, we can as well bend our plans for them now,” she said pleadingly I open my phone back and reply Fed

Me 10:42----- Not sure but we will see if we can make it Not wanting to prolong the matter which I know Fed has a way of convincing me a lot “I am not going,” I said to Kiki over the loud music and she nodded sadly We pull up at the parking lot and we went through different stores and then we got to my favorite store, we entered and picked a basket, we searched through everything and picked a lot of things that will take me for a week or two. We spent a lot of time deciding on them and finally, we are done, and we went to pay. We carried the grocery to the booth and then it is time to go for shopping “don’t you have anything to buy?” Kiki asked looking tired “No no, I don’t feel like shopping till next weekend” I replied gesturing to her to let us start going “I don’t feel like shopping alone, so maybe I should wait till you are ready” she explained while I nodded “As your lord pleases my queen” I replied while she laughed before she stopped and continue “Let us go to the guys, pleaseeee” she pleaded dragging the please I looked at her for a while, she isn’t someone I can resist because looking at her innocent face right now I can’t help but give in.

“Okay then”

She jumped up and ran to my side of the car before pulling me into a hug.

We decided to drop my groceries at home before heading to see the guys. After stocking the kitchen with the groceries, we decided to make something to eat and after eating we headed to my room and Kiki suggested we should do smoky eye makeup and that I should change into trousers so we can just ride my bike and not take the car.

I did a perfectly nude smoky eye and I used mascara to straighten my eyelashes making me look so gorgeous and Kiki did the same just that she did a brown smoky eye.

I changed into a black pair of jeans and a peach Balenciaga tank top with my black sandals.

Both of us let our hair loose and allowed it to fall down our shoulders. We mounted the bike and of course, we decided to take the bike because of the refreshing air which used to blow on the bike and our hair swinging in the direction of the air, we so much love the feeling, and it is one of the things we have in common.

We followed the address given us by Fed and here we are in front of a very beautiful mansion. Mere looking at it, it shows it was owned by a very wealthy and influential person. We pressed the doorbell and a voice asked us to come in.

“The girls are here!” Mathis exclaimed as he opened the door for us, he led us to the sitting room where the guys are and all of them grasped as we approach them “Whoaaa,” they all said in unison “You both look extremely beautiful,” Fed said as he pulls Kiki into a tight hug and then he pulled me into a hug, he then raised me up, lifting my feet off the ground.

“once a superwoman, later a beauty queen” Kia chuckled which make everyone burst into laughter and he just winked at me.

I looked at Bran, he doesn’t look as if he has anything to say as others did

“you guys can take a seat,” Bran said gesturing to us Kiki and I sat beside each other on the very soft cushion chair in the shape of love “so here we are,” Kiki said looking at Fed to tell us something we don’t know “I just feel all of us should catch up and spend time together” Fed explained

“ohm, okay then what about a game or something” I said looking at them “oh, very nice” Mathis responded looking as happy as ever “no nasty game in my house” Bran responded smiling “says Mr. Nasty himself,” Fed and Mathis said in sync and we all burst into laughter except Kia who looked so cold and outcasted.

“Truth or Dare” Fed screamed while we all nodded in agreement Kia stood up and went out through the front door while Kiki looked at me “don’t mind him, girls,” Bran and Fed said in sync while we smiled and go back to the game We play over and over again, and I must say it was very fun, the guys giving each other a lot of funny dares, and right now Bran only has his shorts on him making me see how muscular he is and his abs which I have drooled over countless times; I am sure he won’t try to pick a dare again unless he will be dared to remove his only shorts left on him, and that evil work will be from Fed.

Mathis already has his face painted like a clown and Fed has been asked to dance for us countless times.

Kiki and I decided to stick on TRUTH and we later got tired of the game.

I remembered Kia is still outside, so I thought to myself to go and check him

“I will be right back guys,” I said, and I stepped out of the door.

I looked around and can’t seem to see anything like Kia and then the peacock in the garden caught my attention while I moved closer to it. I always love Peacocks when I was a kid and will always beg Kyle to take me to see one. I stayed with the Peacock for a couple of minutes admiring it and flashing back to my childhood with Kyle while I looked up. I can see Kia, looking up at the sky and crying at the same time. I walked over to him and I saw him scrolling through some pictures on his phone and sobbing harder.

“Kia,” I said trying to catch his attention

“Go away from here!!” he shouted making me to shake on my legs I became so startled and I started to shake “Go away from me!!” he shouted again and stood up, looking as deadly as ever

I started backing away from him and once I recollected everything that is happening, I started running back towards the house. I stayed a little at the door trying to compose myself and calm from the shock.

They have switched to video game and they have paired up already Bran and Fed then Mathis and Kiki. They look so excited and consumed in the game that they hardly notice when I entered.

I took a sit on the couch and wrap myself up thinking about Kia, but I later got distracted by the bottle of liquor on the table in front of me. I picked it and tasted it, it tastes so sweet and my throat keeps wanting more and I keep giving it.

I keep on taking the liquor as I drifted into the past with Kyle again, I switched to the thought of me of parents and back to Kia. I quickly wade him off my mind and took my phone to check the time which I couldn’t figure out anything. I looked up to call Kiki and everything was already so blurred that I can only see shadows.

I think you are drunk

No, that can’t be true You think so?

Beatrice won’t stop disrespecting me which made me scream in annoyance and then everything become so dark as I started to fall from the couch.
