CHAPTER 45
ZENEVIEVA
I had barely sat up when the door burst open with force and Tyson poked in looking pissed.
He seethed when he saw his mother, sitting on the edge of the bed, folding her arms as she returned the fierce stare to him.
"Mum?" He gasped, turning sharply to me.
Where are you coming from Tyson?"
"Seriously Mum, are you monitoring my movement despite being the king?"
She shook her head and continued. "I'm questioning how stupid you decided to be each day, how daft you can be by doing silly things!! What is wrong with you?" She yelled.
"Not only do you act rationally but also you dig your own grave effortlessly, you totally became a monster and made sure your Luna was beaten to a pulp for some silly reasons and it's none of your business whether she dies or not, right?"
"Can you stop worrying about her all the time? Is that the reason why my property is missing, making my room empty.."
"Mm…mostly ashes.",
"What?" His eyes reeled with shock as he gasped.
"You burnt them?"
"I should ask the same thing, I should ask the audacity of going to the green pack to ask for war!"
"I was insulted! I won't take that lightly with anyone."
I gasped in shock and sprang up to my feet at once.
"You went to the green pack?" My lips trembled not wanting to believe that.
"Wasn't I supposed to?" He smirked and I bit my lips.
"You promised not to go?" I yelled, screaming my lungs out in anger. "Why did you do that, why did you go over to the pack when you already made me your punching tool just for his sake"
"You are in no position to tell me what to do Zenevieva, I won't have anyone come here and go scot-free just because we had some dirty and meaningless agreement about some arrogant idiot who stood up to me."
My heart burst in torrents of anger as I vibrated, I can't believe he went over to still do that after claiming not to.
"You're a beast Tyson," I yelled.
"I know dummy, it's just the tip of the Iceberg.." He turned to his mum while I tried my possible best to suppress all the anger in me threatening to burst.
"Stay away from my affairs Mum, you have other things to do. I might not tolerate this next time." She went closer and landed a fierce slap on his face that gained a gasp from his lips.
"You're just a lousy immature idiot who thinks he has it all just because of the title and authority which I will make sure is taken down from you, I won't sit and watch you abuse that power in my lifetime, ever! If anything happens to this pack out of Kyle's anger or to Zenevieva out of hatred, your life will become a living nightmare and I will make sure of that!"
She fired loudly and walked out of the room in anger.
"You! You keep crossing the line right, thinking you're being protected with a shield and making my mum go overboard with her actions huh?"
I smiled bitterly and walked closer to him.
"No, I think you crossed the line, Tyson. You messed me up and went over to do something despicable thinking it's all fun right? I just hope what your mum just said isn't true about going to Green Pack."
"Or what? What's the meaning of the useless statement you just spewed?"
"You will find a meaning to that when the time comes."
I told him calmly and moved to walk out but he held me and slammed me on the wall.
"Don't you dare walk out on me!"
"Watch me do it."
I spat back and pushed him off me with great force and slammed the door behind me.
I walked briskly outside and sighted some of the guards.
"Excuse me, did the king raid the Green Pack?"
They all stared at me like some forbidden creature and continued what they were doing without glancing up again.
"I'm asking a question!"
"You have no right to ask us that, aren't you supposed to be indoors?"
"What do you mean by that?" I growled.
"We don't want to get infected by your stupid seduction, the king and our beta already fell victim."
I gasped and smiled in surprise.
The audacity of these people.
"Is the King giving you the effrontery to speak to me like that?"
"No one is, that's the truth!"
I raised my legs fiercely to kick his mouth and the others got angry, standing up at once to attack me and I got fully ready for them.
One of them came to yank my hair and I dodged and took his hand to twist it around, making sure his bone cracked while I gave a very heavy slap.
"I don't need to waste my time on you idiots, the Queen would know the perfect punishment for you all for asking me such a question."
"Wait..wait please, he didn't destroy much but all the rooms in the green pack."
"What did he use in burning them?"
"The fire powder, he used that."
I nodded.
"Okay, and you were among those who followed the king's orders to burn the rooms right?" They nodded.
"Hmm. ..how respectful, just go to the dungeon."
"What?"
"Or wait for the Queen to come over and give worse punishment and banish you!"
They all fled at once to the dungeon and I sighed in total frustration.
How could Tyson be this ignorant and wicked for no reason? Why did he have to go all the way to just spite me?
I sigh deeply and bite my lips hard in anger as I walk to the previous dungeon I was thrown in.
The guards stopped me from taking further steps and I rolled my eyes.
"I need Lexa out!".
"She's not here and no one is even allowed to go out without the king's order."
I gasped.
"Where's she? What do you mean she's not here?"
"She was taken out from here to another dungeon, can you leave now?"
"Which dungeon again, what's this?"
"That's none.."
"Don't even dare tell me that!! Where was she taken to, are you defiling my question?"
"We are just following orders!"
I slapped him hard in anger and my teeth gritted.
"Are you a robot that you follow nonsense? Where's Lexa?" I screamed out in fury.
"I sold her out."
I heard that annoying voice and I turned my back sharply.
"Tyson! " I gasped and I walked to meet him in anger."
"Where's Lexa?"
"Why are you terrorizing my men and parading yourself as something?"
"Where's Lexa?" My voice was inaudible, barely a whisper as I stared at him.
"I discovered that she's a distraction and you had plans of taking her out from the dungeon, I had to thrash her out!"
"What do you mean by that!"
"Isn't she a slave again? I sold her out, dummy! Why am I even answering your questions in the first place?"
"Why would you do that?" I yelled and wandered around to have a peek at the dungeon to confirm if he was lying but Lexa wasn't there.
"I think I dislike the fact of anyone being close to you, the fact that you get to cherish someone or something irks me to the core and I'll do anything to crush that to the ground."
My heart clenched tightly in pain and I bit my lips to keep my tears at bay.
"I can't believe you sold someone out with a conscience just to spite me."
"Mm..for being a constant reminder in my life and my entire family, you don't deserve anything good or a happy ending."
"The feeling is mutual Tyson, I would continue to be your worst nightmare, make you uncomfortable for you to do silly things.
I affect you that much, don't I? Cause you will never stoop too low to do silly things like a little baby to rile me up."
"You think I'm doing it for you-"
"Keep getting disturbed by my presence, keep being wicked until you don't recognize yourself anymore, it shows how important I am despite being a weak rogue you all claim me to be."
"Shut the fuck up!" He spat out and I smirked.
"I hope for you to be in a position where you seek help even when the help is right before you and you won't find it, the pains you've caused me will be greater than what you will feel by punishing other people for my sake "
I let the tears fall freely and I walked out on him, hoping that Lexa would be safe, wherever she was.
