Chapter 6

**Michael POV: **

The whole time she was lying on the bed I listened for a heartbeat, but there was none. When the doctor said he need to check her vaginal area for bleeding I got pissed. Once Gar and I felt the tent we sat there in silence. Until her screams broke the silence. Eos was howling in my head to help our mate but there was nothing I could do. Gar seems to be in agony over her screams as well.

 “Are you okay?”, Gar asked.

“No, and Eos is even worse”, I said trying to block out her screams.

“What are you going to do?”, he asked.

“She is damaged goods. I am not sure if I want her or not. Eos seems to still want her”, I said.

“What do you mean she is damaged goods?”, he questions.

"Do I have to spell it out”, I say exhaling a breath I didn’t realize I was holding.

"Yes, because I am confused as fuck”, I felt him getting irritated.

“What I mean is she has been fucking James, which means there is a storm possibility she was a part of his harem. I don’t want some one that been passed around like a fucking book", I said trying to hole Eos back. He is upset at what I said.

“What are you fucking serious That woman  in there has been through a lot. She has lost her mom, her pack, and her pup. The only light at the end of her tunnel is that she now have a mate and you want to take it away from her?!”, he is upset and it is pissing me off yes, he is my Beta but he is my best friend as well.

  “WHY DO YOU CARE SO MUCH”, I said jumping in his face.

“Because Titus said she is family”, he says.

“What family but you are the only child, and so were your parents”, I said confused.

“I said the same thing but Titus begs the differ. He said she is surely family”, he sounded just as confused as I am.

 “It seems my mate becomes more interesting by the second”, I said.

 “Let's go to the main house and see if we can get her some clothes for the ride back home”, Gar suggests.

We walk to the main house our first stop is the Harem. We were surprised to see it empty since the room was locked from the inside. Inside the room is nothing that we expect, there are bay windows that face the back of the house, and a fifty-five-inch TV on four of the walls, in reality this room looks like an entertainment room. As we walk in further we find five very large rooms almost as big as Gar's room. Each room has two queen-sized beds, which tells me a minimum of ten women lived here. There are TVs and vanity sets in each room, it seems like the women were well taken care of. I order some of my men to find where the women went.

Gar and I continued our tour of the main house, I must say it’s a nice house I might not knock it down I might just gift it to Gar instead. We come in front of a back door, which I guess is the Alpha room. When I open the door I smell Rati's scent, it is imprinted into every surface here. There is a vanity set not like the ones downstairs this open is made of ivory, the bed is a California King. The closet has a mixture of male and women's clothes, the women's clothes for sure are Rati’s. This room looks like it's shared by an Alpha and Luna. Rati has personal items here, women's toiletries, jewelry and name-brand clothes. Christian Louboutin, Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, and Armani; I honestly don’t want to pack anything he gave her Eos wants me to rip everything to shreds. But I can have her traveling in dirty clothes.

 “Michael it seems like she is his chosen mate”, Gar says as he looks around.

“She’s not marked, but it’s clear she isn’t just someone he fucks now and then. She means something to him….they might love each other”, I say with a growl.

  “What is it you want to pack for her?”, he asked.

“Nothing, the clothes will go to our pack thrift store, and the jewelry goes to my treasury”, I say looking at her massive jewelry box.

There are pink, blue, brown, white, red diamonds, as well as rubies all colors of sapphires there are. Somewhere necklace, chockers, rings, earrings, bracelets. She has more jewelry than the Luna of Blood Moon Pack and their Alpha was a multimillion-dollar billionaire.

“I don’t think it is a good idea to put the clothes in our thrift shop. The last thing you would want her to see is someone wearing her clothes”, Gar said

 “Fine the clothes here go to our high-end thrift store, and clothes from the Harem get divided between all pack own thrift store”, I said as I got up and talked towards the window. I must say the view is amazing.

“Okay I will take an inventory of the jewelry and have someone take it back home”, he said.

 “By the way this house is yours if you want it”, I say this with a smirk. Knowing damn well he would want the house. It’s a tradition of mine that the main house in any pack we take over either I keep it, give it away, or make it a B&B. The last house he wanted but I decided to make it a B&B instead which brings in about $500 thousand a year in revenue to the pack.

“Thanks, Alpha….can I keep these as well”, he said as he showed me a display full of vintage Rolexes.

“Yes, all but the black one is mine”, I said with a smirk.

I leave Gar to handle what needs to be done and head back to my command center. Once I entered Rati was still lying on the bed but she is clean and wearing one of my shirts and socks. It made Eos and I happy to see her in our clothes. I grab a set next to the bed and hold her hand, I don’t see the doctor in here he might have left to get something. She is so beautiful my dick is getting hard just looking at her I really should be thinking about he this way.

  “Alpha”, the doctor said.

 “Why did you leave her alone”, I said with a growl.

“I went to get fresh water for her. She will be thirsty when she wakes up. I had to give her a sedative”, he said.

“Thanks for clothing her”, I said looking at my mate sleeping.

“No problem Alpha I will leave you now”, the doctor said.

Just looking at her, I wonder what is her story and if she would ever tell me. I have no idea how we are going to move forward even with the mate bond the odds are pretty stacked against us. Alpha James and Gar may have a point she will hate me. She is so beautiful her raven-colored hair against her mocha skin does something to me. Eos is going crazy he wants to mark her now and mate her later. I grab her hand to hold on to and I feel the sparks when we touch. I sniff her hand and she starts to stir and wake up.

  “James”, she whispers. And my blood boils.

 “Good you are up", the doctor said while walking in. I didn’t even notice her eyes were open. The doctor gave her some water.

 "How long would it take for me to heal?", Rati asked.

"That depends on you and your wolf my dear", the doctor said glancing at me.

“Can she have more pups?”, I asked interrupting the silence. I know it wasn’t the right time but I needed to know if she was able to bear me any heirs.

“Yes, Alpha she can”, the doctor replied while looking at Rati.

“It doesn’t matter I am not going to allow myself to get pregnant again. I doubt James would want to touch me again but if he does doctor is there something you can prescribe me”, I say crying. I  didn’t realize she was sitting up. She will find out she will have no choice if she gets pregnant again. And if she thinks she will be fucking Alpha James again she got me fucked up.

  “I see what I can do”, the doctor said and I  growled at him.

The doctor walks out and we just stare at each other. She needs to understand her future is by my side, not Alpha James. I hear her heart beat and I can smell her fear and heartache. She is looking everywhere except at me. I watch as he gets up and walks towards the door. Goddess this girl just doesn’t quit, she just went through this ordeal and is still trying to escape and I know that wants to go to Alpha James. I don’t think I should call him Alpha anymore since he is no Alpha anymore.
