**James POV: 

Three months later

We could not have been happier to know that Rati is having our heir. That night we took her to bed long and soft. We worshiped every part of her body. The day after we told our family and friends. After the announcement, Mōʻīwahine, Taniyn, and Vulverin left back to their kingdom. True to our nature Michael and I had the whole pack on alert once we announced to the supernatural wolf we were expecting,  

Michael and I did not want to announce it outside of our circle. But we had to according to Mason it will let the kingdom know that the kingdom is secure. After that, we got offers of marriage out of nowhere. The crazy part is we don’t even know what sex our children are. We want our children to be with their fated mates. 

Today Mason sent some historians to us so we can have our story written for future reference.  We each got one and even though Rati historian is a woman we still did not leave her alone. We don't leave her alone with anyone who is not family or a part of our circle. Right now, we are listening to her tell her story. She is at the part when she was beating the shit out of Gar. 

“Guys you need to get to the hospital as soon as possible..... it is  time”, A panicked Gar says via mind link 

“Shit, we got to go. Sorry Kate we will have to finish this some other time”, Rati said trying to get up. 

Rati has some time to go before our pups come. Yes, pups she is carrying two. And as a surprise, we don’t want to know the sex of the pups. Rati does not like being pregnant. Only because she loses her independence. She is not allowed to take the stairs or elevators by herself. Right now, she is trying to walk all the way to the front door by herself. 

“Rati baby slow down you are going to get dizzy”, Michael said. 

“I am fine, now let's go”, she said. 

And sure, enough she started swaying a little. When she touched her head, we knew she was doing too much. I ranted and caught her before she would hurt herself. Michael looked and her and shook his head. These women are driving us nuts. Aldo, Gar, and Mason call us complaining about their pregnant mates. Yes, all of our mates are pregnant so we will be having newborn pups born in the family back-to-back. When they call us, we call  Taniyn and Vulverin. Who by the way just laugh at us. Mōʻīwahine is pregnant as well and having twins. They are handling it like pros. 

Margin is pregnant as well and Sorel couldn't be more happier. He and Aldo got close. Aldo and Oro used to visit them a lot. But when Oro got pregnant they stopped visiting. Oro called us crying asking to end Margin's banishment so that they can come visit her since Aldo won't let her leave the city.  So, we lifted it. Sorel can't wait to be a father and grandfather. He also keeps hinting she wants to retire. 

“Was everyone called?”, Rati asked in my arms. 

“I am not sure baby”, Michael sad 

“We have a telephone tree for a reason”, Rati whined. 

“The phone tree is stupid”, Michael said both me and Rati looked at me like I was crying. 

“Sorry guys. I will make the first call”, Michael said pulling out his phone. 

There are two phone trees one for the women and one for the men. The men's phone trees consist of me, Aldo, Gar, Mason, Sorel, Taniyn, and Vulverin. The women's phone tree is Rati, Oro, Margin, Renee, Mōʻīwahine, Zavia, and Margin. So, whoever goes into labor first calls the person next in line. That way everyone knows what is going on. 

We could hear Renee from all the way outside. Rati started crying, and Michael and I tried to soothe her. She was worried and scared for her mom. Inside the hospital, Gar is barking orders at the hospital staff for them to help his mate. Zavia walked in right after us. 

“Son calm down the pain is just part of it. This is not Renee's first time”, Zavia said carrying her own pup inside of her. 

“Mom, she is in so much pain”, Gar said looking like he was going to cry. 

“Then go in there and take the pain away. Let her hold your hand she will break it but bear the pain for her. I promise it will be okay”, Zavia said. 

Gar left to go to Renee's side. Rati just finally calms down as well. Zavia started talking to her. They talked about their pregnancy I could tell Michael was becoming uncomfortable hearing his mother talk about being pregnant. About an hour later Gar came out of the delivery room looking pale. 

“Gar what's wrong is mom and the pup okay”, Rati said in a panic. 

“It's....it’s...”, Gar tried to get his words out. 

“Spit it out already!”, Zavia yelled. 

“It's a girl”, Gar said looking pale. 

“Oh, shit”, we all said laughing. 

“Karma is a bitch”, Zavia said. 

“No, the hell she is not. I am going to get a tower built tomorrow and my daughter will stay in there until I die”, Gar said. 

“I have a baby sister”, Rati said excitedly jumping up and down. 

“Easy baby”, Michael said. 

Zavia and Rati walked into the delivery room to see Renee and our newest addition. Gar still looks in shock. Michael and I go and hug him. We know what he is thinking. And off the shit he did do other men's daughter someone is going to do to his. And that is why I am glad I didn’t play the field like most Alphas. And besides I had Rati. I kind of feel sorry for any girl born into this family. They won't be able to go anywhere.
