Chapter62
Caspar taught Emerson and others how to paint several flowers and birds. Emerson also passed on his own style of oil painting, from composition to color, brushstrokes, light and shadow, and texture, teaching a lot of little tricks in total.
Caspar studied hard and immediately started drawing. In just half an hour, he drew a lifelike flower arrangement.
From above, you can vaguely see Emerson’s style.
Everyone was praising Caspar.
Emerson didn’t hesitate to praise, “You are really talented, you’re a genius!”
Caspar was both proud and humble, “Oh, it’s all thanks to the good teaching of my teachers.”
Emerson laughed and said, “So, Alex, are you interested in learning oil painting? I won’t charge you tuition, just come work at my gallery, what do you think?”
Caspar was stunned.
He didn’t expect Emerson to extend an olive branch like that.
“Sorry, Mr. Maxwell, I’m afraid I have to decline your kind offer. I’m happy with where I am now.
At the end, he looked towards Andrea.
Andrea walked over.

She still had a smile on her face, but she was feeling a bit unhappy inside.
“Mr. Maxwell, did you forget I was still here? Trying to steal my thunder? That’s just heartbreaking.”
Andrea wiped away her tears.
Emerson didn’t even flinch when caught red–handed, still had a natural smile on his face.
“Ms. Rehbein, what did you offer Alex that he wouldn’t even come to my gallery?”
You know, Emerson was a big shot in the industry.
Many people were dying to become his top disciple or work in his art gallery.
A once–in–a–lifetime opportunity came knocking, but Alex didn’t bat an
eye.
Andrea smiled politely and said, “What conditions can compare to Mr. Maxwell’s reputation?”
“So you’re okay with him leaving?”
Andrea smiled and said, “Although I hate to see him go, people move on to better things, and I hope Alex will have a brighter future.”
Emerson was satisfied, he turned and smiled at Caspar, saying, “Did you hear that? Your boss has spoken, so now you don’t have to worry about anything.”
Caspar didn’t reply immediately. He looked into Andrea’s eyes and saw her give him a slight “seize the opportunity” look.

Andrea shook her head, “Of course I don’t want you to leave. In a way, you’ve become the backbone of our Cloud Gallery, right? But, Mr. Maxwell’s offer is a great opportunity to go global. They’re practically handing you a job on a silver platter.”
“No need.”
It was a no-nonsense tone.
