Chapter 160
The air conditioning in the office was buzzing, Andrea was tapping her fingers on the desk.
“Darnell, where’s the surveillance footage?”
Darnell immediately ran out of the office and brought the USB drive from his desk.
He plugged the USB drive into the computer, the progress bar had just reached 30%, when suddenly the screen flashed with bright blue and white snowflakes, and the whole screen was filled with jumbled code.
Darnell’s expression froze for a moment, his fingers tapping the keyboard somewhat nervously.
“No way! He was perfectly fine this morning!”
Andrea looked down at the flickering gibberish, looking unsure.
She had enough confidence in her people, there’s no way there could be a mole inside the gallery.
The USB flash drive shouldn’t have been damaged in such a short period of time.
So there was only one possibility.
The computers in the entire gallery were hacked, they are even being watched by the mastermind behind the scenes now.
Caspar on the side had deep eyes, obviously aware of the issue.
Darnell kept plugging and unplugging the USB drive, the metal

interface making a faint clicking sound.
Andrea stared at the screen full of gibberish, her temples pounding.
“Who brought the laptop?”
Caspar immediately walked out, “I brought it, I’ll go get it.”
Andrea let out a sigh, with all the employees pinning their hopes on her, she couldn’t afford to lose her cool.
“Plug the USB drive into the laptop, then contact the data recovery experts to have them remotely control it.”
Half an hour later, Darnell took off his glasses and wiped the lenses with his shirt sleeve.
“I tried three data recovery companies, all of them said the file damage was too severe to recover.”
Tessa held the tablet, with a sad face.
“What should we do? Now online, everyone is criticizing us, saying we are afraid to release surveillance…”
The office fell into silence.
Andrea was holding her phone, the screen still on the dialing page.
She tried to contact him several times, but all she heard was a mechanical beep on the other end.
“The phone you called/is switched off.”
She bit her silver teeth, pressed the redial button again, and the monotonous beep in the receiver made her heart race.

the phone suddenly got answered, and sharp curses came out.
“Enough! How many more phones do you want to change before you stop?”
When the phone was answered, the employees in the office immediately gathered around.
Andrea looked serious.
“Hello, I am the person in charge of Cloud Gallery, I’m sorry…”
“Stop pretending to be nice!”
The other person cut her off with a cold laugh.
་་
“I just posted a rant, and you guys from the gallery won’t stop, forcing me to delete the post? If you keep bothering me, I’ll post all these chat records online and see who looks worse!”
The other party spoke very fast, like a machine gun firing with anger.
Andrea was patient.
“Miss, didn’t we already discuss this?”
“Who did you guys negotiate with? Dozens of missed calls, do you think I’m a pushover? If you don’t want to be accused of threatening customers privately, then don’t call me again!”
The busy tone of “Dudu” was particularly harsh in the silent office.
Andrea stared at the darkened phone screen, her throat tightening.
She couldn’t figure it out. Why would a complete stranger, whom she had never even met before, use such drastic measures?
“Shouldn’t we release a statement first?”
