Andrea struggled hard, but she couldn’t break free because of the huge difference in strength between men and women.
Suddenly, a tall figure rushed over and knocked the man to the ground.
Roderick stood unsteadily, with a fierce look in his eyes, his bangs soaked with alcohol and blood at the corner of his mouth.
“Touch her? You’re asking for trouble!“.
His fist, reeking of alcohol, was unusually fierce.
The man yelled and rushed forward, and the two of them wrestled together.
Even though Roderick was drunk, he fiercely protected Andrea with determination and brute force.
The sound of breaking bottles and shouting mixed together. Roderick quickly got a few cuts on his face and arms, blood oozing out, staining his shirt red.
But he always kept Andrea behind him, until the security guard rushed over and pulled them apart…
At the Hodgson’s villa.
Roderick and Scarlett had already rested, the whole villa was left with only the sound of their footsteps and Roderick’s heavy breathing.
Andrea helped him up the stairs, just as they reached the last step, Roderick suddenly stumbled and pinned her against the wall, reeking

of alcohol.
“Andie…”
“Don’t make a fuss, it would be troublesome if you wake up Lucian.”
Andrea lowered her voice, casting a wary glance around.
Finally managed to help the person into the bedroom, she was about to turn around and get the medicine box, but her wrist was firmly grabbed.
Roderick half–opened his bloodshot eyes, repeatedly rubbing the skin on her wrist with his fingertips.
“Don’t go Andie…I hurt.”
Andrea sighed helplessly.
“Don’t go, I’ll go get the first aid kit.”
The iodine cotton swab touched the wound, and he grunted as he pulled her into his arms, pressing his chin heavily on her shoulder.
“Andie, I messed up. I shouldn’t have made you wait so long. I’m a jerk.”
The scorching breath swept across her neck, Andreà stiffened and knocked over the photo frame on the bedside table in a struggle.
That was a photo of them when they were eighteen, the teenagers in the picture were smiling boldly, with the girl in a ponytail.
“Andie, can you give me another chance?”
“I..

on the door.
Andrea was shocked, she was literally frozen in place.
Could it be Mom with Lucian?!
Roderick just held her tighter.
“Open the door, it’s me.”
Lucian’s voice made Andrea freeze instantly.
Andrea pushed the person away with all her strength, pretended to be calm, and opened the door.
“Lucian, Roderick got drunk, I took him back.”
Lucian’s complex gaze swept back and forth between the two of them.
“Andie, Quinn came, downstairs.”
When I went downstairs, Quinn was sitting on the sofa, tapping his knee with his bony fingers.
When he saw her, he immediately stood up and naturally put his arm around her waist.
“You said you would wait for me to finish work and come back together, why did you leave by yourself?”
He turned and gave Scarlett a gentle smile.
“Andie couldn’t sleep in the bed, so we were supposed to go home together to sleep for one night, but I was busy with work, so she went back by herself first.”
Andrea was tense all over, feeling guilty, she didn’t even dare to look him in the eye.

Scarlett heard the explanation, so she felt a little relieved.
“Andie was really something, keeping Quinn up half the night when he’s so busy.”
She pretended to glare at her daughter with a hint of complaint.
