She gently touched the scratch on Caspar’s arm, afraid of hurting him by pressing too hard.
Caspar hung his head low and shook it gently.
“It’s okay, this little injury is nothing.”
“The situation was urgent, I couldn’t just stand by and watch the other side snatch away our guests, let alone let them tarnish the gallery’s reputation.”
And with that, he looked up, his eyes clear and innocent.
“And I thought, as long as I can protect the gallery, a little injury is worth it.”
Andrea looked at him, He looked so mature and pitiful, feeling even more guilty in her heart.
She gently rubbed Caspar’s hair and spoke softly with a hint of caution.
“No more of this in the future, okay?”
“Whenever something happens, make sure to protect yourself first. The matters of the gallery are important, but your safety comes first.”
She turned around and pulled out an iodine cotton swab from the first aid kit, brushing over Caspar’s hand as she squatted down, leaving a faint scent of jasmine in the air.
Caspar nodded obediently and replied gently.
“I got it, won’t happen again. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of myself.”

In the middle of the conversation, he casually glanced in Quinn’s direction, with a hint of subtle provocation in his eyes.
But soon, he turned his gaze back to Andrea, still looking mature and obedient.
After confirming that Caspar was okay, Andrea went to check on the other staff in the gallery.
Caspar sat in his seat, his eyes following her every move.
Suddenly, a burning gaze came from the front.
He looked up and found Quinn standing in front of him out of nowhere.
Quinn looked down at him with a hint of scrutiny and disdain in his eyes.
His gaze swept over the frames hanging on the wall and the
introduction card of the gallery teacher, finally landing on Caspar’s name and the title “chief mentor“, a meaningful smile playing on his lips.
“I can’t believe it, so young and already the chief mentor at the gallery.”
The tone seems casual, but there’s a hidden sarcasm.
Caspar wasn’t angry, instead he gave a meaningful smile, with a hint of mischief in his eyes.
“My advantage, isn’t it just being young? I have energy, drive, and…”
He deliberately paused for a moment, looking straight at Quinn, “Infinite possibilities”
Quinn raised an eyebrow slightly, sounding even more disdainful.

“How much real ability can you have just by relying on a pretty face?”
His eyes scanned Caspar’s face, full of disapproval.
Caspar, on the other hand, wasn’t annoyed at all. Instead, he moved closer, with an innocent and naive smile on his face.
“So, you think I’m good–looking too, right?”
His voice was soft, but with a hint of provocation.
“It seems that being good–looking is not all bad, at least it can leave a lasting impression.”
The two of them stood facing each other like this, their words seemed casual but in reality it was intense.
The air around seemed to have condensed, filled with an invisible smell of gunpowder.
Andrea, not far away, had no idea that beneath the calm surface, there was a fierce silent competition between the two men..
After carefully examining all the injuries of the gallery staff, and confirming that they were just minor scratches and sprains, her tense nerves finally relaxed a bit.
“Darnell, starting from tomorrow, we need to beef up the security measures at the gallery.”
Her voice was steady, exuding an unquestionable authority.
“First, install high–definition cameras at the entrance to achieve 360- degree surveillance with no blind spots.”
