Chapter 17: We're over
“Trent,” Tracy's face was all smiles as I showed up in front of her apartment.
Our apartment. I got it for her so we could have our good times here. Except now, I don't wanna have any good times anymore.
“Hi,” my reply was bland and I wasn't sharing in her excitement. But she was still all smiles.
“Come inside,” she gestured and I stepped in with a sigh.
She shut the door and began walking ahead. I followed calmly until we got into the bedroom and she dropped on the bed.
“Come sit,” she tapped next to the bed. With those smiles that made her look quite the seductress and her dress that barely covered her butt but also skillfully had her big boobs on display, I knew just what she was about. And I shouldn't play that game with her.
She's sexy as hell. My cock is hard and craving to be buried between those big tits but I shouldn't.
“Nah, I'm good. Did you get my text?” I chipped in swiftly. And like a snap of my fingers, her smile faded, replaced by a sullen look.
“You…you didn't mean it, did you?” She pinched her fingers. “You didn't mean what you said in that text. Did you?”
“Tracy, I meant every bit of it. I'm breaking up with you. I'm ending this. It can't go on…”
“Why?” A long line of tears dropped from her eyes. “Because she confronted you? What does it matter?”
“Wait, what? What does it matter? That's a dumb question. She's my mate; of course, it matters.”
“Are you breaking up with me because you love her and you're scared because she might leave you if you continue seeing me or because you're scared she'll tell everyone?”
It was a tricky question. And as much as I didn't wanna hurt her feelings, I still had to answer.
“I love Elena. And yeah, I'm scared of losing her. She's literally my whole life and I'm gonna fall apart if she leaves me.”
Tracy lowered her head, crying softly. The thought of comforting her crossed my mind but I shook it off. I wasn't about to be weak for her right now.
“So why did you come for me?” She growled quietly, looking up with mascara-stained eyes. “Why did you start this with me if you loved Elena?!”
Not to be an ass but, “Tracy, if we're being honest, you seduced me. I know it sounds narcissistic and immature but you fucking came for me. Not the other way around.”
She stayed silent, heaving and staring
at me. I stepped closer, grabbing her chin softly.
With a smirk, I continued. “All those times you'd dress like a dumb slut and parade in front of me. In those family parties where you'd serve me food but also “mistakenly” brush your fingers against mine. When you made me your confidante during your breakup and would cry on my shoulders just to put your cleavage in my face, baby girl, I got all your signals. And one night, I was horny, and Elena wasn't there; I recalled you'd be. I knocked and you opened. And you loved every bit of it…”
“Didn't you?” She seethed, staring daggers at me.
“Sure, baby. I did. I loved thrusting into your cunt and making you scream like the shameless whore you are. I loved how good you sucked my dick. I loved how well you submitted to me in bed. I loved everything and that's why I kept coming for more. But it's about ruining my life and I'm not gonna sit around and let it. We end now.”
The note of finality in my tone must have pissed her off and made her snap.
“If you think I'm just gonna let you mess with me and toss me aside, then you better rethink.”
“We both messed with each other. I fucked you like a crazy bitch. And you ate my money like a shameless whore. You're the reason I had to embezzle the company's funds because of your bright ideas of owning your own modeling company. And I was so stupid to believe you really knew what you were talking about…”
My grip on her chin hardened and she winced in pain. I should leave a scar on her pretty face for what she did to me.
Now, I'm in huge debt with the company and with my father. All because I was trying to satisfy my slutty mistress.
“We both messed with each other, Tracy, so you got nothing on me. I had a good time. You had fun. That's it. Don't ever call me again. You hear me? Hmm?” I pressed her face harder and she winced again.
Letting her go, I turned to leave. But she got on her feet.
“You're gonna regret leaving me for her. I'm gonna make you regret it.”
I turned to her again with a chuckle. “oh, honey. Don't try so hard. Because it'll be worthless.”
“You're a jealous freak and you know it. You hate seeing me with other men. What makes you think I won't go to them now?”
My jaw twitched but I tried to cover it up with a hard smile.
“Go ahead. Let's see which one of them would wanna keep you as a mate. Or as a permanent lover. They're just thirsty men and they're gonna dump your ass after you've given out.”
Her face paled in pain at my words. She should have known better than goading me.
“I'm the best thing that ever happened to you, Tracy. Good luck replacing me.” Now I sounded like an ass. All because she wouldn't stop pushing my buttons.
“You're an insufferable bastard!” She yelled, coming for my face. Her long nails were enough to motivate me to quickly catch her hand before she left damage on me.
She struggled as I twisted her wrists.
“What's with you and your sister? Why always hitting people's faces? I mean, you’ve always been hitting faces. But now Elena has joined the club. What the hell?”
“Does she know?” Tracy asked through gritted teeth. “That behind all that gentlemanly act you put on, you're nothing but a cocky bastard? A rotten narcissist. A twisted imbecile. A sadist…”
“No, she doesn't.” I silenced her with a hiss.
Elena was a pure soul and would only love another pure soul. She'd have rejected me if she knew what I truly was like. And I wasn't about to lose her.
Besides her great personality, she's the best girl between the two packs who could boost my position and personality. She was the one girl every other guy was clamoring for. Winning her over remains my biggest trophy. Keeping her is a must. Even if I have to pretend to be what I'm not. A gentleman. An honest man. A faithful man. A kind man.
I'm not any of that. But she doesn't have to find out. Ever.
“No, she doesn't know. And we're gonna keep it that way.” I twisted her hand for better clarification. She yelped, struggling to get off me.
“If you say a word to Elena, I'll rip you apart. And if I'm so bad, then why are you yearning to keep me, Tracy? Do you have such poor taste in men?” I mocked with a sardonic smile.
I let go of her hand. She sobbed, still getting closer to me, looking really pathetic now.
“Please don't end this. I'll do anything. I won't tell Elena about you. We'll be more careful so she'll never find out. But please, don't end this…”
“Sorry, Tracy. But I already did.” With a scoff, I tore my gaze away from her and headed for the door.
Her loud cries couldn't get me to turn around. I left the apartment and headed back home.
But her empty threats about seeing other guys haunted my head. She wouldn't dare. She shouldn't dare.
“But you just broke up with her,” my nosy wolf reminded me.
Yes. I just did. But something about picturing her with other guys was irking the fuck out of me.
