Chapter 23: 23
I stared at my phone, which was ringing incessantly. I was thinking again about whether or not to answer. When it rang again for the time I don't know how much I've become, I picked it up and answered. I took a deep breath before I spoke.
'hello'
'Oh my God! Finally , I answered finally on your phone damned ! What have you been doing since yesterday? Gökhan told me that you are finally back. The moment he told me that you were with him, I tried to call you, but you didn't answer." I smiled upon hearing my sister's voice. I really missed her.
"I'm sorry, Ege. I've been busy since yesterday," I lied. I didn't want to lie, but I don't know what to say. I didn't answer her calls on purpose because I knew she was going to ask me to go home.
"I called Bjokhan, and he told me that you've been inside your room since your arrival. I know that you have a problem. Tell me what happened to you this year with his case in Greece. You did not call us, not even once. Was my mother worried too about you?" she sighed and then stood up from the bed. I went to the balcony and sat on the chair there.
"Could you be talking about this when I go back?"
'Okay. When will you come home?' She suddenly looked excited. Which put a smile on my face.
'The day after tomorrow'
"Well. You have a lot of explanation to give it. You will close now. See you soon " strongly laughed.
'Okay, sister. See you soon. Bye.' I hung up.
I took a deep breath and looked outside. It's beautiful and relaxing, but I was almost in a state of turmoil. Why is it so hard for me to forget everything?
Now is the time when I wish I could lose my memory, even to forget the pain. I smiled bitterly and wiped my stomach. I could feel the life growing there. I immediately felt relaxed thinking about my unborn child. If it wasn't for my child, I would have gone to the club and drunk until I forgot about Yagiz, even if it was for a while.
"Carry your mother, darling. I'm sorry because I park this way. "Do not worry, Vamk will do anything to make everything fine," I said, and I'm talking with my child. I was about to get up from the chair when suddenly I heard my brother speaking.
' With from you talking? ' She gasped in surprise. His brows were knit together as he looked at my hand on my stomach. Suddenly I got nervous, so I told him out loud.
"You scared me."
"You knocked, but you didn't answer. I thought you were asleep, so I went in to check on you. I want to talk to you." His face was serious.
I swallowed hard and nodded my head. He sat on the chair next to me. I could tell he was staring at me closely, but I didn't have the courage to face his gaze. My heart was beating fast. What if he already knows what happened to me? Oh please, no...
"Tell me now, who have you been talking to since the period?" I tried to laugh.
"You silly, no one here. I was talking to myself. "I couldn't help but bite my lower lip. I hate lying, but I have no choice. I don't want Gokhan to hurt Yagiz. I don't know why I'm still protecting him after what he did to me, but I don't have the courage to tell my brother what happened.
"We've been in the room since arriving yesterday. Now, I want you to be honest with me and tell me what the speech is, "I looked down while my eyes were flowing." Since when did you become a little girl crying over the simplest thing?!
'La yvjd everything speeches. Contribute their art. NDOSH tomorrow everything "
"Don't lie to me. You know I hate lies," he said through gritted teeth. He cursed under his breath when he saw tears fall from my eyes.
'Fuck!' What happened to you, Hazan? Did someone hurt you in Greece? "Tell me and make him pay the price, whatever it was," I shook my head and embraced him. I felt it, and it was ingenuous and accepted my forehead.
After many minutes of crying in his arms, she finally calmed down. I pulled myself away from him. He didn't say anything for a few seconds before speaking again.
"You know very well that I hate to see you crying, especially when it is because of someone."
“I know,” I answered, louder than a whisper.
"You should also learn that I will not stop until you tell me why you act in this form now. You are not you crying simply, "I took a deep breath to calm myself."
"From please, Jokhan. Let me now? I admit that I have hurt myself now because someone is, but because I do not, I can tell you what happened. I'll tell you the day of days, but not now," his jaw became taut.
"From please?" He begged. He stared at me as if reading what was on my mind and then sighed in agreement.
“Thank you,” I said and hugged him again.
"I will allow you because of what you want, but Uday, you tell me when they are ready." But leukodermic is something Is this respect for a man?
"Yes."
“Did he force himself on you?” I shook my head no.
'Good.' Was he physically harming you? "
"No," I admitted.
“Did he deceive you?” I didn't know how to answer that question.
“Gokhan ...”
"Well. Will not ask for anything now, but remember your promise." I nodded my head. He wiped my tears with his thumb.
"Stop crying. If you want, I can arrange your return to Asittbol tomorrow.
"The day after tomorrow I will go. Thank you, brother." I rested my head on his shoulder. We stayed like that for a few minutes without speaking. Then it was Gökhan who broke the silence.
"What is your plan now? Will you come back to Istanbul forever, or will you come back here and work with me?"
I've already thought about it, and honestly, I don't have a final decision on it yet. The only thing on my mind is trying to forget everything that happened. I need time to heal, and I need to fix my life for my child.
"I did not know until now," nodded with understanding.
I spent the remaining two days with Gökhan, Sevda, and their baby instead of staying in my room. I realize that Sevda still loves my brother even though she is clearly trying to hide her true feelings because she is angry with him.
I really like the right woman, and I wish I had done the same. Two days later, I traveled to Istanbul. The moment I got to our house, my mother and Ege were so happy to see me again after a year; they were even crying.
'Oh my God, how I miss you, my love,' said my mother, hugging me tightly.
This was the first time I saw my mom like this, and I couldn't help but feel guilty. I know they worried about me. Yes, I always go to different places, but I keep calling them from time to time. But now it was something different; for a year they did not hear anything about me.
I hate making them worry, especially my mother, because she has a weak heart. Fortunately, nothing bad has happened to her while worrying about my absence for the past year.
"Where are you, my girl? Why did you not call us, and if so, once? " I asked the Aegean while scanning her tears. I smiled and extended my other hand to her while my other hand hugged my mother.
" Come to here , " gave me a hug.
"I've missed you so much," she said with a heart full of emotion. I felt so much better just seeing them. After our reunion, we went to the dining room and had dinner.
"Hazan Can youtell me about the reason not to return to the house for a year? Do we have something not like that? Are you angry at us?" I asked my mother, and we are in my room.
'No, Mom. I'm sorry, but I'm not ready to discuss it right now. Do you think you could be talking about it as yet?" I said while staring at her, begging her to understand me. It's easy to lie, but I wouldn't lie to her no matter the circumstances. I grabbed my hand and squeezed it gently."
'Okay, I understand. I won't bother you now because I know you're tired." I kissed my forehead. Before opening the door to get out, she looked at me again and smiled.
"Welcome and make yourself easy in your home, my daughter. I am happy too because you promised us finally," he smiled, and then opened the door and left me alone.
I was about to lie down when someone knocked on the door.
“Go ahead.” Aegean entered with a serious face.
'What? I think you went to your room? The expression on her face didn't change at all. She sat next to me.
"I'm not going to sleep there tonight. I'm going to sleep here. Now, start. 'What do I start?'
"Begin to tell me what happened," swallowed hard Riqi. Aegean has always been more able to understand me.
'What—what are you talking about? There is nothing. I have spent my time in different places in Greece.'
"Do not give me this nonsense. Even though I am the smallest of you, I feel that you are trying to hide something from me.
My smile disappeared. By knowing her, you won't stop until she gets the answer you want.
“He's a man, isn't he?” I asked frankly and bit my lip as I remembered Yagiz again. I forgot about it when I got home because I was so happy to see my mom and my sister. When my mother asked me what had happened to me, I managed to evade her because she did not insist on knowing it. But dealing with my sister is different.
"I do not know what to say. You're on the right. I've interviewed a young man, but as I said to my mother since that time, I'm not ready to discuss what happened now. I hope that my understanding it, " she sighed.
"Okay," she sighed with relief. I was expecting her to bother me, but I think she has matured a little while I was away.
After a few minutes, I felt her asleep next to me, but I still couldn't sleep. My body longed for someone to be there, and this person was the one who used to hug me until I fell asleep in his arms. His warmth always made me feel safe and calm. I didn't know how long it took me to fall asleep, but I was sure it was almost dawn.
I woke up feeling nauseous. I got out of bed and ran to the bathroom. When I finally felt better, I washed my face and went back to bed only to find that Aegia had already woken up. She was staring at me with a strange expression.
“Hazan, are you pregnant?” My body shivered as my heart started beating faster. I swallowed loudly, and our eyes met. I could tell she was holding her breath and was waiting for my answer. I couldn't say anything other than nod my head to gasp in shock.
