Chapter 19

Today is Saturday so it means its friends bonding day.

Friends spend time together. Unless there are emergencies at work or abroad for business matters.

She woke up early because they discussed that the venue for today's bonding was at the beach resort of her friend Ysabella in Batangas.

The entire resort is said to be reserved for their friends. That's exactly what they do when the whole gang wants an out-of-town trip. Previously it was at the Sandler hacienda they chose to vacation. There is even a rest house there that is only used when the Sandlers 'relatives are visiting. That's where they want to stay when they return home.

Shamia left early for the long trip. She also did not include bodyguards. She said goodbye to her parents and thankfully they agreed without hesitation. Weird!

The trip was also far so Shamia first stopped over at a restaurant she passed by to eat. She also called Ysa and said she was on the way.

She drove again and traveled to Batangas where the resort is located.

She was near the resort when she noticed a vehicle following her. Earlier she noticed that it was only on the back of her car. She gives it space and also slows down to be able to over-take but it stays just at the back of her car.

Even at the turn of the maiden on the way to the resort it complied. Could it be one of the vacationers at their resort Ysa? But that is reserved. Who is this one? But what amazes her is that she doesn't feel fear and nervousness that maybe evil will follow her.

But in fairness to this bad temper, the car is nice. Black Sedan.

The girl's car was about to enter the beach resort when she stopped and glanced again at the car that was still in the back, which was also ready to enter.

Black Sedan? She looked at the plate number and viola she's right. This is one of Ysa's cars. Is this possible Ysa? But the girl said she was already there.

Is it possible to? Is she crazy? Maybe not.

She parked the car at the entrance of the villa then got out and took her belongings. A Villa staff helped her and another took the car key to park the car in the parking lot.

She didn't even look at who was riding in Ysa's Black Sedan because the staff immediately walked in with her belongings. The staff escorted her to a room.

She immediately reached for the phone to enter. Shamia first called Lourine.

["Yes? Are you there yet?"] Her forehead furrowed at the woman's opening.

"Yes. Where are you? I thought you were on a trip when I called you earlier?"

["Yes. But my car broke down. So I called someone who could fix it, I didn't know how to do it. Just wait there!"]

Shamia ended the call and Krysta followed.

["Yes darling? Something came up, so I couldn't go on the outing. Enjoy!"]

The girl was confused by what she said. Enjoy? But she's the only one here?

She called Ysa next.

When she answered the call she preceded her. "Don't say you can't go either? I'll pick you up!"

["Ah you guessed it!"] She said as if still teasing.

"I drove for hours just for nothing? My god! You just made me tired for the sake of nothing!?" she couldn't help but sigh at the friend on the other line.

["What are you! Don't be high-blood -"]

"How can I not get high blood for what you did? Or what am I going to do here alone? The best thing is maybe I'll just pick up my chopper and work in the office."

["No no no. You can still have someone with you instead of us and I'm sure you'll enjoy it! Bye!"]

She no longer waited for her protest. Those witches! How can she enjoy being alone?

As if on cue there was a knock on the door of the room she was occupying. Though still pissed at what the friends did she still opened it only to find out Kaiser outside her door.

"What are you doing here?" So, she's right. This is the passenger in Ysa's car that followed her earlier.

"I'm here to accompany you! I know your friends won't be able to come so I just offered to join you. "

She turned away. "Now? I can do it alone, I'm used to being alone and worse being fooled."

She stared at him when she saw his wide grin. "What!?"

"Is that it?"

"What now?"

"Uhh,"

Shamia's forehead furrowed because she seemed hesitant to say what the problem was. "What else? Please hurry up! I will rest and when I can go home to Manila."

"All the rooms are occupied and uh, I haven't booked a room yet."

Occupied? She thought Ysabella reserve this resort for them why did this man just come 'it's all already occupied? "And now?"

"Can we just share? Don't worry I'll sleep on the couch for you to be at ease."

"Hah! Just sharing a room with me won't make me feel safe."

Kaiser's shoulder dropped. "Okay! Maybe I'll just spend the day in the car and rest and then I'll just go home."

She felt guilty because of the man's hint.

"Okay okay! Fine! Come in." When Shamia spoke, she opened the door and invited the man to enter.

His open face immediately cleared and he was excited to enter the room. Even though she hadn't said that she put the things he was carrying in the cabinet. The man left the space on the right side of the cabinet for the maid's belongings.

She decided to just continue her vacation today because it would be a pity when she also came home with nothing to gain from traveling for a few hours.

Shamia went to the balcony of the room to get some air and admire the beautiful view with the clean and clear ocean in the distance and the fine sands that seemed delicious to walk on foot.

"Thank you for letting me stay here with you baby,"

The girl looked around the room when she heard that from Kaiser who was now watching her intently. When their eyes met he seemed to be nailed to the stand. She was unable to move her legs especially when the man slowly walked towards where she was and gently pulled her towards his wide chest and leaned on it.

"I love you, Ma’am."

She could hear the man's rapid heartbeat and seemed unwilling to give up her heart because it was beating erratically as if it was about to come out of her chest.

Shamia doesn't know how they ended up in bed. Hug each other while lying down. She was caught in the man's left arm and his right arm was wrapped around her waist.

"Babe,"

Embarrassed, Shamia hid her face in his wide chest because it seemed like only now what had happened had sunk into her.

She even heard laughter from him. Now she realizes that she really misses the man too much. Because of his simple laughter, her heart was pounding as if it wanted to come out of her chest.

"Don't be shy baby, there's nothing embarrassing about what we did." He chuckled. "We've been doing that for a long time, haven't we?"

"Fuck! Shut up!" Shamia's redness intensified because of what she was saying.

Embarrassing!

"Babe?" Kaiser reached for the girl's face and presented it to her. The girl saw the big grin on his face.

"What?" Shamia sighed to hide the embarrassment.

"I love you!" And with that, he kissed her. Shamia feels the longing and love in his kisses. She could not stop the tears from flowing as she savored the kiss of the man she had longed for.

He held her face and gently wipes the tears that keep falling. "Please don't cry."

She hugged the man so tight that he laughed at her and then reciprocated with a tighter hug. She could even feel his slight kiss on the top of her head.

She misses his sweetness so much! She misses his touch! She misses everything about him.

They have not yet talked about what happened in the past. And she decided to set aside the problem for a while and enjoy the current events first.

"Babe, let's go outside. We haven't had lunch in the afternoon." Eventually, it became a complaint.

Sometimes she really doesn't understand it. Sometimes he's sweet and then later on teasing and the complaint is settled. That's the other thing she missed about him.

"My fault?"

"It's really your fault! If you don't hug me we won't be able to eat."

She pinched it on the side which made the man jump and almost fell on the other side of the bed. "I'm still really huh!"

"Is it not?"

"Okay!" Shamia said then got up from the bed and put on her clothes which she first found on the floor by the side of the bed.

"Joke time baby, it’s really my fault. I can't resist you!"

Shamia laughed at the man's arrogance. It was like that when they were teasing and gladly, he was still the winner in the end.

And I'm happy that he still hasn't changed.

"I don't know! Get up, I'm hungry." She pulled him to force him to get out of bed. He looked at the time on the cell phone on top of the nightstand.

It said it was three o'clock in the afternoon. At nine o'clock she arrived at the resort and suddenly it's now already three in the afternoon. It's so sudden. And she still has someone in the room.

She even saw the lock screen of the phone and she's sure it wasn't hers. She stared at the picture and realized she was on the lock screen of the man's cell phone. How sweet of him! It still doesn't replace the lock screen she set for him before.

"Faster!" she complained because of Kaiser's sluggish act.

"I was tired earlier!" the girl's face warmed again at her sudden promise. "Want to join me to shower to conserve the water."

She stared at him then went to the cabinet and took a white plain t-shirt and a pair of denim shorts along with one-piece swimwear. She then led him to the bathroom and immediately locked the door.

"Shamia! Aren't we together?" she heard him shout outside the door.

"Aren't you tired? Just rest, don't come. I can do it alone." She replied that she ignored the man who was still shouting and complaining outside the bathroom door.

She took a quick shower because she could already feel her stomach growl. Damn! I'm really hungry.

When Shamia came out of the bathroom she saw Kaiser sitting on the side of the bed and looking like she had taken a bath.

She asked the man curiously. "When did you take a bath? Or did you just read your hair?"

"Yuck huh!" react to it. "I took a shower in the other hotel room."

Son of a! "Who's the man on the other side?"

"Huh? Woman! The nice thing is, does she look like a model or an actress? Do not know. I'm not sure! She's just beautiful." While saying that, Shamia's facial expression got worse and worse as if he didn't notice because he was super oblivious to the beautiful woman he saw in the other hotel suit.

She hurriedly reached for her cell phone and wallet so that she could leave the room immediately. She could not bear what she heard from the man's mouth. "Then go to her. Just be there."

She shuddered as she rushed out of the room. She no longer listened to its call. Exactly as she exited the hotel suite was also the opening of the adjoining room which she was sure was Kaiser's alleged room where he bathed.

She was surprised to recognize who had come out of the next room. She hurriedly closed the door and was about to enter but it was too late, she had already seen and searched for the blasphemous.

Damn her!

She immediately grabbed the woman's hair.
