Damien arrived at the location his men just sent to him, he found himself in an empty street that was well illuminated by street lights..
A car pulled over next to him and his two personal bodyguards stepped out of the car, they also happened to be the guards from that night..
"Boss we got the wrong lady's address"
Damien's intimidating grey orbs narrowed at them, the only reason he hadn't fired them was that they were the only ones who knew what the lady from that night looked like..
"Boss we searched for every ladies in the city with amber colored eyes.. and we're down to ten.. one of them lives in this neighborhood"
Damien took in a deep breath, amber colored eyes, that was the only thing they could recall from that night..
He turned to leave for his car when he spotted a lady coming out of the building opposite him with a bag of trash..
He recognized her immediately or should he say he knew who she was at once, she was none other than the rude employee that resumed today at his company..
Olivia who was oblivious to the people standing a few metres away from her turned back after dumping the trash into the dumpster..
The two guards failed to see the lady that caught their boss's attention just now, after she vanished behind her closed doors they followed his line of gaze and found nothing..
Damien snorted, why did he have to see her now? she has tortured him enough for one day..
"Boss we'll search for her tomorrow morning.. it's pretty late now"
Meanwhile....
Olivia snuggled close to Kelvin who was fast asleep, she could hear his soft breaths brushing against her ears..
She fell into deep thought recalling how her whole day went and suddenly the image of her new boss popped up into her head..
Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door before it was pushed open, Bianca tiptoed into the room to avoid waking Kelvin up from his sleep..
"He's finally asleep.." Bianca murmured with a small smile, her gaze rested on Olivia who was lost staring at Kelvin's sleeping face..
She sighed and walked around the bed to Olivia, she pulled Olivia's chin up to her face with a small smile..
"Are you crushing on your son?" Bianca jested which earned a smile from Olivia..
Olivia carefully detached herself from Kelvin and followed Bianca out of the room in order not to disturb Kelvin's sleep..
***
Bianca stood by Olivia who was standing by the window staring at the dark sky with stars twinkling like tiny diamonds..
"So how was your first day at work?"
Olivia chuckled recalling how her day went, she pushed the hair falling on her face behind her ears..
"It went great! I'm sure my boss must be cursing me in his sleep by now.."
Bianca wasn't surprised by the response she got from Olivia, over the last couple of months she has been fired from different places because of how bold she was when it came to her words..
"Whatever you do.. don't mess this up okay? and please don't be rude to your boss and by the way who is your boss?"
Olivia's lips twitched when she heard Bianca's warning about her not to be rude to her new boss, if only she knew what happened at her new working place today..
"No I have no idea who he is.. but he looks familiar in a way though"
Bianca raised a brow and nodded in understanding..
"Okay then.. goodnight!"

The next morning..
Kelvin looked up from his cereal bowl to his mum who was running around the living room packing his backpack..
"Mummy why don't you get ready for work, let aunt pack my things.. I don't want your boss to scold you"
Olivia sighed and looked up to him with a small smile..
"Oh! you're worried about me? forget it, my boss can't scold me"
Damien's image suddenly flashed past her eyes as she stared at Kelvin, for a moment she was lost staring at him until Bianca took a seat next to Kelvin..
"Olivia! are you alright?"
Olivia blinked twice and nodded her head, she tapped her forehead and closed her eyes with a sigh..
"I must be overthinking things.." She murmured beneath her breath..
"You can tell me if something is bothering you.. right?"
Olivia forced a smile and picked up her purse,"I'm totally good.. please drop Kelvin off today.."
Kelvin pouted his lips, he wasn't happy about the fact that his mum won't drop him off today again, he stirred his cereal slowly with his head bowed down..
Olivia caught his sad expression and sighed "Alright I'll drop you off on my way to the office"
His mood was elated in seconds, he hopped down from his seat and ran to her..
"Yay! thanks mummy"
Bianca casually grabbed a red apple and took a large bite out of it..
"Why don't we leave together?"
***
Damien took in a deep breath resisting the urge to throw a punch at the guard in front of him, they never seem to get their job right..
"So what happened now?"
The guard bowed his head in shame avoiding his master's burning gaze on him..
"When we got there, no one was at home... but I don't think she's the one we are looking for"
Damien shut his eyes and turned his seat to face the large floor to ceiling window in his office, he had to find that lady no matter what..
"Get out!"
The guard obliged and turned around to leave when he bumped into a lady that seemed to be in a hurry, he ended up knocking every files on her hands to the ground..
"I'm so sorry"
Damien turned his seat towards them, a frown settled upon his forehead when he saw the mess they created..
Olivia crotched down picking up the files that were littered around the ground and the guard followed suite..
The guard creased his brow as he took a look at her face, this lady before him had the same color of eyes that they were searching for also and her demeanor was also soft like the girl from that night..
Olivia noticed the guard wasn't moving, she raised her head to catch him staring at her like he had seen a ghost..
"I know I'm really pretty! stop staring at me that way.. I'm really uncomfortable!" She lashed out irritably at the guard and stood up to her feet..
The guard shook his head gently, maybe it was his head messing with him, the girl from that night was innocent and calm unlike this lady..
Olivia placed the files on Damien's desk with a little force than normal..
"Why was your bodyguard staring at me like that? oh.. I see, did you hire him to get rid of me?"
Damien was left puzzled, he glanced at his guard who quickly left the room after a while, his gaze then settled on Olivia who was giving him a questioning gaze..
Now he thought of it, Olivia has the same color of eyes as the lady from that night, he doubted if it was her..
The lady from that night was calm even though she was scared but this lady in front of him was so annoying and bold but he still remembered her scent..
He stood up from his seat and walked around his large desk and stood before her..
Olivia narrowed her eyes at him wondering what he was about to her, however she took a defensive pose to stop him from approaching her, her palms was folded into fists ready to throw a punch at him if he dared crossed his boundaries..
Damien moved back with creased brows wondering what was wrong with her..
"Do you want to fight with me?" He asked in disbelief staring at her keenly..
"That depends on what you're about to do"
Damien snorted and suddenly pulled one of her fisted hands..
She crashed against his firm chest, he leaned forward slowly to her causing Olivia's eyes to widen..
And before he could tell what was going on he suddenly felt a strong kick on his groin, a groan escaped from his lips, he held his table for support and looked at her in disbelief..
Olivia's eyes grew large after realizing what she had done..
