Kelvin stood on the dining table refusing to come down, Bianca sighed and placed the small bowl on the table..
"Do you have to be so difficult with me every single day? come down and have your meal"
The door opened as Olivia stepped in with all smiles, however her smile slowly vanished when she saw Kelvin standing on the dining table..
"Olivia! thank goodness you're here.. he's driving me insane.. I'll step out for a few minutes, don't wait up for me"
Bianca stepped out of the small living room leaving the mother and son alone..
Olivia threw her purse to the sofa and folded her arm staring at Kelvin who was still on the table..
The kid tilted his head to the side with a wide grin, he opened his arms wide for an embrace..
"Come on mummy don't force it, I know you can never be upset with me.."
Olivia giggled, she walked to him and accepted his warm embrace that seemed to relieve her of all her stress..
"My baby.. I missed you soo.. much today"
She carried him in her arms off the table and gently placed him back to his feet..
"So I see you haven't had your meal yet, do you want to see me unhappy?"
Kelvin shook his head slowly, he walked to the dining table and grabbed his bowl of Mac and cheese..
"I'll have it right away please don't be upset alright?"
Olivia chuckled and watched him eat, her little prince charming was ready to do anything to put a smile on her face..

Bianca walked into the dimly lit bar that was bubbling up and down with loud music, she took in a deep breath and sat in front of the bartender..
"What would you like to have milady?" He flashed her a toothy smile which she returned back with a forced one..
"Whiskey" she replied back..
Meanwhile three guys who sat at a hidden corner in the bar all focused their gaze on the lady who just walked in..
"Who's that chick? I've never seen her around before" One of them commented checking her out..
"I know her... she is hard to please.. asked her out once and I was totally left embarrassed" Another imputed, the first guy laughed to his heart contents..
"I can get her"
Simeon and Justin looked towards the quiet Xander who just spoke..
Simeon laughed mockingly "I bet you two million dollars that you won't get a positive response from her tonight"
Xander raised his glass to his lips with a slanted grin on his lips, he took a glance at the lady who just took her second shot of whiskey..
"I have a clean record of getting any lady I approach, so I'm super confident"
He stood up from his seat and emerged out of the dark part of the room, he walked elegantly and took the seat in front of the bartender..
Xander took a glance at the lady by his side who wasn't sparing him a look, she was too focused on her phone to even notice his presence..
"What would you like to have Mr Gray?" The bartender asked politely trying to divert the playboy's attention to himself, he could tell exactly what was going through the latter's mind..
Xander peeled his gaze off her and turned to the bartender..
"Vodka"
The bartender gave a nod and turned around to get what was ordered..
Xander adjusted on his seat and leaned a bit towards Bianca..
"Hi.. can you please tell me what says the time?"
Bianca turned her gaze to her side and that was when she noticed the man sitting next to her..
His chiseled features were a testament to his Greek god-like physique, with piercing blue eyes that seemed to see right through you.
His dark hair was perfectly messy and his chiseled jawline was accentuated by a devilish smirk that left women weak in the knees.
His full lips curved into a perpetual smile, giving him an air of approachability, while his broad shoulders and muscular build made him a force to be reckoned with.
Bianca pulled her gaze off his face, she noticed he was putting on a golden wrist watch but either way she relayed the time to him and returned her gaze back to her phone..
Xander heard a series of giggles coming from the other end of the room, he snapped his head to his friends who were clearly making jest of him..
However he refused to stop just there, he was about to say something to her before the bartender placed the glass of vodka in front of him..
"Your order sir"
Xander pulled the glass a little bit harshly on the hard marbled slab..
He drank the contents of his glass in one go, how come she wasn't trying to strike up a conversation with him like every other ladies do?
He cleared his throat to gain her attention which he succeeded in doing, Bianca faced him once more..
"Are you new to the city?"
Bianca raised a brow and shook her head "No.. I practically grew up here"
Xander flashed her his mischievous smile that could make any girl fall at his feet, he was pleased that she at least spoke to him..
"Do you visit frequently?"
Bianca shook her head, she hated wherever this conversation was heading to, she took a glance briefly at the other two who were ogling at her..
"Well? do you wanna waste your whole youth? can I get your contact info just in case you might wanna hang out?"
Bianca stared down at his phone stretched towards her, she hopped down from the backless bar stool..
"Don't push your luck" She said in a clear and firm tone before she walked out of the bar, from a distance she could hear the murmurs and teasing voices of his supposed friends.
Xander returned back to his friends and took a seat..
"Look who got his first rejection tonight.. I told you she was a little hard to please"
Xander glanced back once more, he couldn't believe that there was a lady in this world that could reject his advances..
He wasn't the one to chase girls, instead girls were the ones to chase him around offering themselves to him at every chance they got..
"I make sure I get every single lady that I want and she is no exception.. no girl can resist this face.."

Olivia yawned lazily and sat up on the bed, she closed her eyes briefly trying to enjoy the last inch of sleep left in her eyes..
Her amber orbs suddenly snapped open when she recalled that her boss would personally pick her up and take her to the main branch today..
She dashed off her bed and ran into her shower room to take a quick shower..
In less than five minutes, she was done with her shower, Olivia picked out her white shirt and black skirt which was the official color in the company..
She dorned it on in no time and soon after she heard a horn outside the building, she picked up her heels and tried to force them on her feet while standing only to land on her butt..
"Oh come on!"
In six minutes she was out of the building with a loud bang resounding right after she left, her eyes widened when she saw the car moving away..
"Wait! stop! I'm here!" She pulled off her heels and ran after the moving car like an insane lady till it vanished out of her sight..
Olivia threw down her heels in anger, her chest heaved as he took deep breaths in and out, her hair was all over her face which made her look like she was mad..
"He did this on purpose!"
She picked her purse off the ground and searched for her phone, when she pulled it out, her lips curved up into a smirk..

Damien sat behind his large desk swivelling on his chair, when he recalled how she was chasing after his car half an hour ago he suddenly bursted out laughing..
This was just the beginning, he still had plenty more torture installed for her..
However his door was pushed open which made a loud bang, an angry lady panting heavily stepped in throwing daggers at him with her fierce gaze..
He sat up on his seat in shock wondering how she got here so fast and also how she able to locate this place..
Olivia marched in and stood in front of him with a questioning gaze..
"I can see you're mad right now.. and it's only making me feel even more proud of myself.. get settled over there, and start your first official work as my secretary"
He pointed to the transparent space in his office which was another small office meant for a secretary..
Olivia's jaw clenched in anger, she suddenly had the urge to throw a punch at his face..
"Dear boss aren't you worried about what might happen to you behind this closed door?"
No sooner had she asked the question when she saw his name deeply carved on a golden intricate resting on his desk..
Damien Sterling!
