Chapter 21: The Mole
The safehouse reeked of blood, sex, and suspicion.
Selene lay between Enzo and Damien on the reinforced bed, her body still trembling from the brutal three-way claiming. Thick ropes of Enzo's cum leaked slowly from her swollen pussy, mixing with the drying blood on her thigh where Damien had fed. The vampire lord lounged on her other side, one elegant finger tracing lazy patterns through the mess on her skin, while Enzo's arm remained locked possessively around her waist.
The bond between the three of them was no longer just pulsing; it was alive, breathing, hungry.
Enzo's phone vibrated on the concrete floor. He snatched it up, jaw tightening as he read the message.
"Another leak," he said, voice dangerously quiet. "Three more shipments hit tonight. They knew the exact routes, the exact times, and the backup security codes. Someone inside my organization is feeding the Silverfangs and vampires information."
Damien's crimson eyes gleamed with dark interest. "A mole. How deliciously predictable."
Selene sat up slowly, wincing at the deep ache between her legs. "My father's enforcers are thorough. They don't buy loyalty, they break it."
Enzo's gaze burned into her. The jealousy from earlier had not faded. If anything, it had sharpened into something colder, more dangerous. He grabbed her by the throat and pulled her close, forehead pressed against hers.
"If I find out your pack turned one of my own men…" he whispered, voice lethal, "I'll make you watch while I skin him alive. Then I'll fuck you in his blood."
The bond flared hot and vicious. Selene's pussy clenched involuntarily around nothing, fresh slick mixing with Enzo's cum.
Damien chuckled softly from behind her. "Such pretty threats. But we need proof, not poetry."
They moved fast.
Enzo called in his most trusted inner circle, and only four captains were allowed into the safehouse. The rest were kept at arm's length. They gathered in the main room around a steel table covered with maps, security logs, and bank records.
Selene stood beside Enzo, still wearing nothing but his oversized coat. The scent of sex and blood clung to her skin. Every captain noticed. Every captain stared.
Enzo's hand stayed possessively on her ass under the coat as they reviewed the evidence.
One name kept appearing: Captain Rossi.
Large unexplained deposits into offshore accounts. Missing surveillance footage during the exact times of the leaks. A Silverfang scent marker found on one of the hit sites that only someone with inside knowledge could have planted.
Enzo's expression turned murderous.
"Bring him in," he ordered.
Two hours later, Captain Rossi was dragged into the safehouse, beaten and bleeding. The man was in his late forties, loyal for fifteen years or so, everyone had believed.
Enzo didn't waste time.
He slammed Rossi against the wall and pressed a gun to his forehead. "You sold us out."
Rossi's eyes darted to Selene, then back to Enzo. "Boss… I swear on my mother's grave..."
Enzo pistol-whipped him across the face, splitting his cheek open. Blood sprayed.
"Try again."
Selene watched silently, the bond feeding her Enzo's rage. But there was something else in Rossi's scent fear, yes, but also resignation. He knew he was dead.
Damien leaned against the far wall, arms crossed, watching everything with clinical fascination. "He's not the only one," the vampire said softly. "There's always a chain. Cut the head, and another grows back."
Enzo's eyes never left Rossi. "Who else?"
Rossi spat blood. "Even if I tell you, you'll kill me anyway."
Enzo smiled slowly, darkly, and terrifyingly. "True. But I can make it quick… or I can make it last for days."
He nodded toward Selene. "Or I can let her wolf play with you. She's been itching to tear something apart."
Selene stepped forward, silver eyes glowing. Her claws emerged slowly. The full moon and dual bonds had her on edge, hungry for violence.
Rossi broke.
"Three others," he gasped. "Capos in the South Side crew. They're feeding the Silverfangs real-time locations. In exchange for… protection. And money. Lots of money."
Enzo's face went deathly still. "Names."
Rossi gave them.
Enzo shot him in the head without hesitation. The gunshot echoed through the concrete room like thunder.
Blood pooled across the floor.
Selene stared at the body, breathing hard. The violence should have disgusted her. Instead, the bond with Enzo throbbed with dark approval. Damien's cool hunger brushed against her mind as well.
Enzo turned to her, eyes wild. He grabbed her by the throat and slammed her against the wall right next to Rossi's corpse.
"You liked watching that," he growled, shoving his hand between her thighs. His fingers found her soaked. "Fuck, you're dripping."
He didn't wait. He freed his cock and thrust into her hard, right there against the wall beside the dead man. Selene cried out, legs wrapping around his waist as he fucked her with brutal, punishing strokes.
Damien watched from the shadows, eyes glowing crimson.
Enzo's jealousy and rage poured into every thrust. "This is what you do to me," he snarled, biting her neck hard enough to reopen old wounds. "You turn me into a fucking animal. You make me kill my own men while I'm still leaking out of your cunt."
Selene moaned brokenly, claws digging into his shoulders. "Harder."
Enzo gave her what she wanted. He fucked her like he was trying to break her, hips slamming against her with wet, obscene sounds while Damien watched silently.
When Enzo's knot finally swelled and locked deep inside her, Selene came with a scream that echoed through the safehouse. Enzo followed, flooding her with thick, powerful jets of cum while growling her name like a curse.
They stayed locked together, breathing hard, covered in sweat and someone else's blood.
Damien finally spoke, voice smooth as silk.
"Three more moles," he reminded them. "We should deal with them before they deal with us."
Enzo looked down at Selene, still impaled on his knot, eyes dark with possession and something deeper.
"The war is inside my own house now," he whispered.
Selene touched his face, blood on her fingers.
"Then we burn it down," she said softly. "Together."
The prophecy was no longer a distant warning.
It was breathing down their necks.
And it was smiling.
