Chapter 25: CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE

Silvana's Point Of View

As he stared down at me, something ignited within me. The bond....but this time it felt different, intensified, as if a sleeping dragon had awakened within my chest. It wasn't just attraction, it was a deep, undeniable recognition, a soul-level connection that transcends logic and reason. My heart thrummed in my ears, a frantic drumbeat urging me forward towards him.

I don't know what I was doing.

I don't know what I was thinking.

I don't know what the outcome is going to be but-

Suddenly, my body seemed to move of its own accord, drawn to him like a moth to a flame. My feet moved silently across the floor, my steps guided by an invisible force. He watched me approach him, his eyes dark and intense, his gaze fixed on my lips.

I could feel the heat radiating from him, the raw, primal energy that both terrified and thrilled me.

I reached him, the air between is crackling with unspoken desire. I lifted my hand, hesitantly, and touched his cheek, the rough stubble scratching against my palm. He closed his eyes, a shudder running through him, and leaned into his touch.

Then, without thinking, I did something completely reckless, something that shattered all the carefully constructed walls I had built around my heart. I planted a soft kiss on his lips.

It was just a brush, a feather light touch that was meant to be fleeting, a brief acknowledgement of the undeniable connection between us. But the moment our lips met, something shifted. The kiss deepened, becoming more insistent, more demanding.

As I was about to pull away, he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer against his hard body. The air rushed from my lungs as he deepened the kiss, his lips parting mine, his tongue tracing the seam of my mouth. My senses exploded, his scent filled my nostrils, intoxicating me.

The feel of his strong arms around me, holding me captive, was both terrifying and exhilarating.

I moaned softly, surrendering to the moment, allowing myself to be swept away by the tide of passion that threatened to drown me. His hands moved back to my back, pressing me closer, molding my body against his. Every nerve ending in my body was alight, tingling with a desire so intense it was almost painful.

I've never felt anything like this before.

All the emotions I've experienced by being with the man drove me nuts and also made me feel alive.

We kissed for what felt like an eternity, lost in our own little world, oblivious to everything else around us. Finally, breathless and trembling, we broke apart, gasping for air.

He looked down at me, his eyes dark with desire, his face flushed. "Silvana," he murmured, his voice husky.

He didn't say anything else, but I knew what he wanted. And, hell, hell me, I wanted it too.

He lifted me into his arms, carrying me effortlessly, I clung to him, burying my face in his neck, inhaling his intoxicating scent. He carried me to the bed and gently laid me down on the soft mattress.

He followed me down, hovering above me, his eyes burning with an intensity that made my heart race. He reached out and gently brushed a stray strand of my hair from my face, his touch sending shivers down my spine.

Then, he kissed me again, this time, slower and more intense. It tasted of longing and desperation, exactly mirroring how I felt. His hands trailed down my body, exploring every curve. A moan escaped my lips as I arched my back against him, craving his touch.

We really shouldn't be doing this.

This is wrong....yet, it feels right.

He kissed his way down my neck, his lingering on the sensitive skin behind my skin. I gasped, my fingers dipping into his back, urging him closer.

Suddenly, he stopped and looked directly into my eyes. "Are you sure?"

I bit my lips nervously as I nodded. He arched his brow. "Silvana," he drawled. "Are you very sure?"

"Yes." I breathed out, completely overwhelmed by my lust.

"Good, because I wasn't planning on stopping."

The Next Morning.

A yawn escaped my lips as I slowly opened my eyes. The sun shone brightly through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. I stretched my limbs like a starfish on the bed, feeling incredibly relaxed....and content. It was a feeling I hadn't experienced in a long time.

Suddenly, my hand touched something....it was hard as a rock, yet soft and warm, like a person's skin.

My eyes flew open.

What was that?

I slowly tilted my head to see Garrick sleeping peacefully beside me, his arms wrapped around my waist.

Oh, it's just Garrick. I thought groggily, shrugging it off. I'm probably dreaming, I turned over intending to drift back to sleep.

Wait-

GARRICK IS ON MY BED AND WHY?!

My eyes snapped open again, wide with disbelief. This couldn't be real.

Just then, the door opened and Clara walked in, her mouth falling wide open at the sight of Garrick. "Good morning Luna....and.....I'll just....get out now!" She chirped, her voice high-pitched with surprise, as she flew out of the room, slamming the door shut behind her.

My head whipped back around to look at Garrick's face. No, this was definitely a dream. I chuckled nervously to myself and decided to touch him one more time to ensure that it was all a figment of my imagination. The moment I made contact with his skin and felt his warmth, a jolt of electricity shot through me.

This was real.

This was actually happening.

I accidentally rolled off the bed as I tried to move, landing with a thud on the floor, the sound jerked him awake. He sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, and then looked down at me, a slow, sleepy smile spreading across his face.

He stood up and walked over to me, his expression softening with concern. Then, he broke into a wider, more genuine smile, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Good morning, Silvana," he said, his voice husky with sleep.

"What?!" My eyes widened, the blood draining from my face. This couldn't be happening. I'm obviously running mad or something! He moved closer, his hand reaching out to help me up, and then, he picked me up as if I weighed nothing and placed me back on the bed, tucking the covers around me. As he leaned down, placing a soft kiss on my forehead, my eyes downwards.

And that's when I realized that I was only in my underwear.

Wait- what had happened last night? Oh my Gods! I face palmed myself as the memories of the previous night came flooding back, a torrent of heat and sensation that made my cheeks burn with shame and embarrassment. I grabbed the sheets, pulling them over my head and went underneath them, lying face-flat on the mattress, groaning into the fabric.

Okay...it doesn't feel like we had sex and moreover we can't...yet...but still...... Oh my Fuck! We did almost everything last night!

"Silvana," his deep voice called out, laced with amusement. "What's wrong with you?" He asked, his tone cheerful, far too cheerful for my liking.

"Please leave!" I mumbled from beneath the covers, my voice muffled by the sheets.

"But..."

"Leave, Garrick!" I yelled, this time louder and firmer, my voice echoing through the room. I just needed him to leave, to disappear, so I could process everything that had happened.

I heard footsteps moving away from the bed, and then the click of the door closing.

I slowly raised my head, peering out from under the sheets. The room was empty.

He had left.

I groaned as I tugged at my hair, pulling hard. What the fuck had I done?!
