She coldly said, "I've just returned and you're so eager to take my life. Are you afraid that I'll snatch away your position as the heiress?"
With her neck being squeezed, Emily was in pain and almost passed out.
Through gritted teeth, she said, "Haley, you're insane! How dare you choke me! Are you suicidal?"
"I died in your hands four years ago once. Do you think I'll just give up this time?" Haley's voice carried a strong chill. "Since you care so much about the position of the DeRoss family heir, then I will make you taste the bitterness of losing the thing you care about the most!"
Emily's heart trembled.
She suddenly felt that Haley was completely different from the DeRoss family's young miss four years ago.
She also sensed that Haley really could snatch away the position of the DeRoss family heir.
If this little bitch knew that the two children are still alive, then...
Emily was engulfed by boundless fear.
She didn't even have time to think much before Haley dragged her, gripping her neck, towards the east side of the cemetery.
Being dragged in this position, she couldn't catch her breath and nearly fainted.
The DeRoss family bodyguards dared not make any rash moves and continued to follow in a circle.
"Please don't do anything reckless..." Emily struggled to breathe and said, "There's no benefit to doing this. It's better to let me go first. If there's something, we can sit down and talk it out..."
"If we're going to talk, it should be just the two of us. You should have them step back," Haley said calmly.
Emily clenched her jaw.
If these bodyguards stepped back, she wpuld definitely die at Haley's hands.
Four years ago, she almost burned Haley to death in a big fire. Now, this despicable woman was back to collect her debt!
Haley would never let her hands be stained with blood.
She did come back for revenge, but she didn't intend to take lives. Isn't a fate worse than death the best punishment?
She dragged Emily to the eastern side of the cemetery.
There was a river here, a very long river that ran through the entire Cuenca.
She stood by the river, curled her lips, and revealed a cold smile. "Emily, if I can't make your people step back, then I'll have to push you into this river."
Emily trembled all over.
She was capable of doing such a thing herself, so she believed Haley would definitely be capable too.
She clenched her teeth and said, "You...you dare..."
"Why wouldn't I dare? You had so many bodyguards hiding in the cemetery, wasn't it to kill me? Before I die, I'll pull you down with me, it wouldn't be too much of a loss," Haley said, then released Emily's neck and pushed her fiercely.
Emily was scared and closed her eyes tightly, letting out a scream. But the next second, her neck was grabbed.
She opened her eyes and found herself standing by the river, just a little bit away from falling in.
She clenched her fist. "Step back, all of you, step back!"
Otherwise, she would fall into the river and drown!
The bodyguards looked at each other and slowly retreated, but they didn't dare to move too far away.
If something happened to Miss Emily, none of them would be able to live...
Just at this moment!
Haley pulled Emily forcefully.
Both of them fell into the river in early spring.
The bone-chilling cold made Emily feel like she was collapsing.
"Help! Someone help me!"The bodyguards heard the sound and rushed over, but they were too far away. By the time they jumped into the water to rescue her, Emily almost drowned.
And at this moment, Haley's figure had already disappeared.
"Quick, search! Haley must be found! I want to peel her skin and suck her blood!"
Emily trembled all over, her face twisted into a sinister expression like a witch crawling out of hell.
The bodyguards jumped into the water again to search for people...
Haley dived deep into the water, swimming over a hundred meters and leaving the DeRoss family's people far behind.
In the past four years, she had been participating in winter swimming training to improve her physical fitness. Compared to icy water in the winter, this temperature was nothing to her.
She quickly swam to a place where she could reach the shore, but then she heard voices speaking...
