Chapter 110: Let's Get Married!

Days had passed since the battle. I had killed and destroyed the Silvercrest pack and as for the aftermath, it's something I have been handling for days. My men had found out about the packs that had collided with Richard and I had them go ahead to annihilate them but I kept those people. I planned to rebuild the Northern pack and make it wider so it could contain more members.

I stood up after the meeting and then hurried towards home. I still haven't been able to hug or meet with Alina since the battle and I don't know how she is as she hasn't come to look for me which is strange.

I walked towards our home but when I got home, I was told she wasn't indoors which made me frown. I closed my eyes and tried to reach her and my eyes lit up with happiness after being able to link with her.

"Alina!" I called out excitedly. "Where are you?!" I asked anxiously. I wanted to see her right now and hug her to sleep as I hadn't rested for a long time.

"Kennedy…Can you come to the home where your Sister, Adana lives?" She asked softly and my body went rigid.

I widened my eyes and my heart trembled, "What are you doing there, Alina?! Wait, what's wrong with Adana?! Is there something wrong with her? I am coming right away!" I said then without thinking, I rushed toward the hidden house where Adama had lived since the time of the injury.

In a few seconds, I was in the house, and without waiting I rushed into the house and immediately tried to barge into the room and that was when I noticed there were people there. Not just Alina, but also her parents and Jerry.

I gritted my teeth and rushed toward the bed to take a look at my sister seeing her still breathing, I let out a sigh of relief and then turned to the others. My eyes looked at them coldly but when it got to Alina, it softened and I walked toward her and took her into my arms.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked, then rubbed my face on her cheek. I was curious what they were doing here, they looked so mysterious that it gave me chills and somehow, I felt there was something wrong.

Jerry cleared his throat and when I looked at him, he smiled awkwardly and scratched his head before walking towards me, "Alpha!" He called out and then bowed but I only nodded and ignored him.

But then I felt my shoulder being held and when I turned to see, I saw the wide grin on Jerry's face that made me speechless, "What the hell is wrong with you?!" I asked with furrowed brows.

He only grinned at me and then hugged me tighter making me feel strange but I didn't push him away. "Oh! The great Alpha Ken! I'm sorry, okay?" He apologized but I was to say nice words to him so I only swatted his hands away when turned toward him with a frown.

"Yeah.., Yeah! Now tell me what's going on!" I asked coldly.

Jerry looked at me seriously, then sighed and began talking.

"Alina gave up the moonstone for Adana! And it has been used on her and she will soon wake up!" Hey dropped the bomb and I was stiff in shock.

My eyes turned red as I turned to look at Jerry, "Did you force her?! Did you fucking force my mate?!" I asked angrily as I walked up to Jerry and held his neck tightly. My eyes look. As red as blood Jerry didn't fight back but then I suddenly felt a tight hug from the back.

"Ken! No, stop it, release Jerry right now!" Alina's anxious cries rang in my mind and I had to drop my hands from Jerry's neck then turn to Alina and hold her shoulder.

"Tell me the truth! That stone was supposed to be used for your throat! Do you think I am selfish and greedy?! I can find another stone and even if it takes years, I will save Adana but your throat-" I stopped then took in deep breaths as I tried to calm my agitation.

Then I felt Alina hold my hand then she put it on her stomach and rubbed it. I looked at her speechless and confused. Is her tummy aching? I am talking about something so serious and this is all she wanted me to do?!

"Ken, did you feel anything?" She asked gently through the mind but I kept looking at her dumbly. What is there to feel in her tummy other than the smoothness?

She looked at me like I was a fool which made me smile in apology so as not to anger her. Then she rolled her eyes and a smile appeared on her face. I looked at Alina ago seemed to be glowing and I couldn't help but want to take her under me and bully her!

Alina smiled then came closer to me, "I can't even use the stone even if I want to, Kennedy! Because I am pregnant! We have a baby on the way. Besides, your sister needs it more, I want her to see her niece or cousin. And Jerry can't afford to wait any longer!" She said but the only thing I registered was "I'm pregnant! We have a baby!"

A baby?

Baby?

"But how?" I hadn't thought I had said it out and it was only when I got hit on the chest that I came back to my senses.

Then I widened my eyes and suddenly carried Alina up. "A baby! I have a baby!" I laughed happily then dropped her down, and went for her lips.

I kissed her so deeply with my body still trembling from the excitement, then I looked at her happily, "Alina! Let's get married!"

She was stunned for a while then shook her head saying No. I frowned and looked confused and even her parents looked as confused as I am.

"What do you mean? You don't want to marry me?!" I asked agitatedly.

"I want to heal my voice first before having a wedding. I want to speak to the people of your pack and make them know you married a woman worthy!" She said through the mind link.

And that was when I was given the good news that Alina can still be saved but that would be after the child was born.

I turned around to kiss her and laughed happily. This was good, good! Good!
