On our way to the hotel the adrenaline was wearing off and I was in shock. Of so many people I know Wayne Warren was the last person on earth I would have thought would hit his wife and his daughter. I was not only shocked I was disgusted, yes, my dad is a cheat but at least he doesn’t hit my mother or was I living under a rock and didn’t see it like with Jojo’s dad. As I stopped at the Hotel, I didn’t even give the valet a chance to open my door I just wanted to hold Jojo. I jumped out and got her in my arms. As soon as she was in my arms her body relaxed, she grabbed me around my neck and hold on for dear life. I told Anton before hand to get rooms for the four of us, it will give Mel time to think were to from here, if I could I would have hired her, wait I can, I’m not going to stay with my mom and dad now that I’m back but I didn’t want to make hasty decisions not today we all need a night of good rest. I’ve walked into the Hotel with Jojo in my arms when Anton came to give me our keys. “Anton you’ll have to open the door for us; I don’t think I can put her down now.” “Off course.” So, Anton, Mel, Jojo and I got in the lift, it was silent the whole way to the top floor. Yes, Anton knows me to well only the best no matter what. Anton opens the door for us and then he and Mel left. Before I close the door Mel said “Thank you Sir.” “No problem but we need to talk so don’t run away tomorrow morning okay.” “Yes, off course.”
When I close the door, I didn’t put on any lights as I walked us to the bedroom I put her down on the bed but she didn’t want to let go of my neck. “Angel, you need to let go. I won’t go anywhere I promise.” She let go very slowly of my neck when I was free, I went to lie next to her. I touched her face softly, wiping away that one tear that was still on her face. “What am I going to do without you Benji?” She asked crying again. “You are too good of a man to ever be on my bad side.” I said as my stomach started to make noises. “You hungry why didn’t you say anything?” Benji asked. “Because I didn’t think about it there was a lot going on.” “Also true, let’s find the menu.” He got up and got the menu but he came back with a chocolate and water. “Eat this so long?” He said as he gave me the chocolate and water. “You want my mother to get a heart attack?” He turned to me dead serious. “Yes, but luckily for you you don’t even have to worry what your mother is thinking or instructing you to do you are away from both of them Jojo. You can do whatever you want to do.” I thought for a second “You right you are absolutely right.” “Well, here’s the menu what do you want to eat and decide for Jojo not what your mother would have chosen for you.” Benji said. It’s going to take a long time to get my mother and fathers voices out of my head but for tonight I’m listening to Benji. “Steak and chips.” “I like it, I’ll have the same as you, how do you like your steak done?” “What do you mean how do I like my steak done?” “Haven’t you had steak before?” Benji asked shocked and here I had to confess, “Nope I was brought up on salad and cooked chicken.” “Oh my God Jojo I’m so sorry.” “You don’t need to be sorry.” “I do they wanted you to stay thin for me, fuck other food wouldn’t have made you fat, how did you exercise and live of salad and chicken?” “How do you know I exercise?” “Your body angel.” “Oh, protein shakes.” “I really hope this baby makes you grave burgers and steak and fries all the things you are not use to eating.
