Looking at her weak and helpless face, Clarissa felt extremely disgusted.
She shook off her hand coldly, "Don't touch me!"
She didn't use much strength, but Lara suddenly stumbled and fell to the ground with a scream.
"Lara!"
Elliot rushed to Lara and helped her up, growling at Clarissa angrily, "Clarissa! What are you doing?"
"I didn't..."
Clarissa's expression changed slightly. Subconsciously, she wanted to explain, but Lara interrupted her.
"Elliot, I don't blame Clarissa. I just like you. She just pushed me. Even if she beats me and scolds me, that's what I deserve."
Clarissa opened her eyes wide and she was shocked.
She raised her head and saw the disappointed expression in Elliot's eyes.
"I didn't expect you to become like this. This is my fault. You can vent your anger on me! Why did you hurt Lara?"
Clarissa opened her mouth and suddenly couldn't say anything to explain. She felt very painful, as if her throat was stuck by a thorn.
"Do you think... it was me who pushed her?"
"I saw it with my own eyes! I always thought that you were unemotional but kind. I didn't realize that you're really vicious until today! I have misjudged you for so many years!"
Clarissa stood still and couldn't believe what she had heard.
She turned to look at Lara and saw her malicious and smug eyes.
She felt a chill in her heart.
After a moment, she chuckled with sarcasm.
"Elliot, I didn't realize that you're so stupid until today!"
"What did you say?"
"Nothing. You two love each other very much, don't you? Okay! I will fulfill your wish. You're too disgusting and I'm sick of you!"
Elliot's face changed. He didn't expect that Clarissa would say such rude words, because she had always been unemotional and well-mannered.
He said with a straight face, "Clarissa! Don't go too far!"
Clarissa sneered mockingly.
She took out her handkerchief and wiped the place that had just been touched by Lara. Then she said casually.
"All right! I don't have time to talk nonsense with you. From now on, please stay away from me! I wish you..."
She rolled her eyes and chuckled with ironic eyes, "You know what? A b*tch deserves a son of b*tch."
After that, she did not give them any chance to speak. She turned around and left.
Elliot was so angry that his face turned livid, "What do you mean? Stop..."
"Elliot..."
At this moment, Lara suddenly grabbed his arm. Her face was pale as she covered her belly and said, "Elliot, my belly hurts."
Elliot asked worriedly, "Lara, what's wrong with you?"
"I don't know..."
Blood ran down Lara's legs.
Elliot opened his eyes wide in shock.
"Don't be afraid. I'll take you to the hospital right now."
......
Elliot went to the hospital with Lara in his arms.
Sitting in the car and watching them leave, Clarissa smiled sarcastically.
She didn't go home, but drove to Elite Shore.
On the first floor of the hotel was a large bar. In the bar, people indulged in debauchery.
She leaned against the bar counter and kept drinking wines.
Originally, she was not a person who liked to drown in alcohol to relieve her sorrows. But at this time, except for alcohol, there seemed to be nothing else that could make her forget the pain in her heart temporarily.
In front of Elliot and Lara, she could pretend to be ruthless, cold-blooded and magnanimous.
However, only she herself knew how sad she was.
The six-year love between her and Elliot was just a lie. When she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him, he was having sex with another woman.
It was so ironic!
Clarissa picked up the glass and poured herself another glass of wine.
Even though she was good at drinking, she was a little drunk at the moment.
The phone in her bag suddenly vibrated.
She reached out her hand with dizzy eyes, took out her cell phone from her bag and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Clarissa, you lost out to me again!"
It was Lara.
Clarissa sneered sarcastically.
"You called me just to prove how proud you are?"
Lara smiled smugly.
"Clarissa, you don't know that I'm pregnant, do you?"
Clarissa's face darkened.
She looked at those people who were dancing on the floor and said in a cold tone, "Why do you tell me about this? I didn't make love with you."
"Elliot is my child's father. Just now, he told me that he would marry me soon. You spent six years with him, but he has never slept with you. To put it mildly, you can think that it's because your love is pure. To put it in a bad way, it's just because he is not interested in you at all. He feels sick as long as he sees you."
Clarissa clenched her fingers into fists tightly.
"You know what? As long as we stay together, we make love every day. He said that he has never felt so relaxed and happy when he stays with me! When he is with you, you are as cold as a dead person. You're not romantic at all!"
"I am gentle and considerate, and I know how to make him happy on bed. But you're just like a man! What's the difference between being with you and being single?"
Clarissa clenched her fists tightly and fiercely.
She felt so painful in her heart, as if her heart was being torn apart by something.
She took a deep breath. After a moment, she let out a chuckle.
"Lara, originally, I thought you were scheming and smart, but it seems that you're just so-so. Is this all you want to say?"
"Clarissa, if you are angry, you must tell me. I won't laugh at you."
"Why should I be angry? I don't love Elliot anymore, but you regard him as a treasure. He is just a piece of garbage that I have thrown away. Why are you so smug when you use my garbage?"
"How dare you!"
"Alright! I don't have time to talk nonsense with you! I warn you. Don't try to provoke me again, because you can't afford the price of completely provoking me!"
After that, she hung up the phone directly.
Her heart was in pain.
Although she pretended to be calm on the surface, Lara's words had undoubtedly hurt her heart.
She still remembered what Elliot said to her when he wooed her.
He said that he liked her because she was pure, noble and indifferent. He said that she was like a flower that could only be seen from afar and could not be plucked, and he said that he wanted to protect her.
The most beautiful love should be pure. It should be the spiritual love without sex. It was the simplest love.
But the fact was that he cheated on her and had sex with Lara. They even had a child.
She felt a sense of sarcasm in the bottom of her heart. She raised her hands to cover her face, on the verge of tears.
Just then, someone suddenly patted her shoulder.
"Hey! Isn't this the eldest daughter of the Chapman family? It's so late, but why are you here alone? Are you here to deliver the goods again?"
Clarissa turned her head and saw a few young girls in sexy clothes standing there. Their leader was Elliot's younger sister, Lliana Duncan.
Lliana loved to go against Clarissa since she was a child. She always made trouble for her.
Clarissa was not in the mood to argue with her. She took out some money from her bag and paid the bill.
However, Lliana stepped forward and blocked her way.
"Why do you want to leave? Come on. Let me see what is in your bag! Is it condom or lubricant?"
As she spoke, she reached out her hand to snatch Clarissa's bag.
Clarissa took a step back and looked at her coldly.
"Lliana, don't go too far!"
"What? Haha..." Lliana laughed as if she had heard a big joke, "Clarissa! Do you still think you're Elliot's girlfriend? You've broken up! You mean nothing to him now. Why are you so arrogant?"
There was no expression on Clarissa's straight face.
Lliana waved her hand and said, "Snatch her bag for me!"
"What's the point of only looking at her bag? Isn't she selling adult erotica products? She comes out to delivery goods at such a late time. How do we know whether she is actually a prostitute or not?"
"That's right. But I don't think men will like her because she is so rigid. Why don't we take off her clothes and check her body first? Maybe we can find some evidence. Then we can help Elliot clear up his injustice."
Lliana's eyes lit up. "Sounds like a good idea!"
They rubbed their hands and walked to Clarissa together. Clarissa's expression changed.
When they were unguarded, she turned around and ran.
She had drunk too much, so she stumbled and couldn't tell the direction. She saw a toilet in a daze and then rushed in.
A man's voice suddenly sounded in the toilet, "What the f**k!"
There were only two people in the toilet. One was smoking, and the other was peeing. When the man saw her break in, he was so scared that he almost wetted himself.
It was also the first time for Clarissa to see such a scene. After being stunned for two seconds, she realized that she had gone to the wrong place, and her face blushed.
"Sorry, I get in the wrong place!"
She stumbled and was about to leave, but Lliana's voice came from outside.
"Where did she go? Where is she?"
"She obviously ran this way. Where is she now?"
"She must be in the toilet! Come on! Let's go in and find her!"
Clarissa's face changed slightly. She looked up and vaguely felt that the smoking man looked a little familiar.
"Sir, could I... hide here for a while?"
Although it was an embarrassing request, she had no choice because she didn't want to be caught by Lliana.
Anderson was expressionless. He glanced at David, who was pulling up his pants in a panic, and said, "Get out!"
David was so frightened. When he heard that, he ran away in a hurry with relief.
Clarissa felt a little dizzy, and she subconsciously wanted to reach out to hold something, but she suddenly lost her balance and fell to the ground.
She felt so nervous and closed her eyes subconsciously.
However, she didn't feel the expected pain. A long and strong arm reached out and hugged her.
She suddenly bumped into Anderson's arms, and her dizzy head immediately became dizzier. She fell to the ground unconsciously.
