ALPHA REX'S POV
My body shivered, not in fear, but in rage. I should be mad at whosoever did this to my mate but.... I can't let them know.
Not too soon and I felt it showed how weak of a park I represent.
I didn't cry about the
"Let me handle this myself" I paused as I glanced around the room well "This is why I have come here". I walked towards her and bent on a knee to meet her face.
Silence.
I went silent, not a blink. All I did was try to listen to her heartbeat. I just went ice still as my eyes fixed on her chin down to her neck and back.
Rage filled my spine.
I wiggled my fingers as I tried not to trace my fingers on her face and poorly healing wounds.
How could someone do this to her?
"Alright, Alpha Rex" Alpha Jaxon suddenly walked back to his seat "She is all yours" he added.
Alpha Jaxon looked at his son who looked uncertain. His old eyes lifted to find Axon staring at them with a very calm expression. He wiggled his index finger and the young Delta just bowed and left unnoticed.
"She is all yours to correct" Alpha Brook chipped in.
I bit my lower lips to avoid growing. I want to tear someone, just snap bones, and kill people but I have to watch first.
"Of course, she is" I sighed.
My now blue eyes stared at her blankly for another while before turning black "She is all mine to handle" I added.
I don't want to conclude and at the same time, I didn't want to miss something so precious. My dormant eyes stared blanking into the girl's chest as if searching her heart. The corner of my lips bent in disgust as I studied the older Alpha's palm print on the girl's face right above the slow healing claws wound under the same eye that had turned black.
Fine I quit! I can't take it anymore. I want to touch, to just touch what's mine.
'Fuuuuccccck!'
My warm index finger lifted her jaw as I closed his eyes and inhale her scent sharply.
The fist of my second hand clenched beside me as I closed my eyes tight. I couldn't let the Furs grow out of my skin and when I opened my eyes back and stared at Rain. This time they are off, with the scared look on her face I know she might be praying to remain dead in Jason's arms and not mine.
Sniffing again my brows almost connected as my forehead formed wrinkles.
I have smelt a lot of she-wolves, even if they are on heat I know how they smell. Too odd, the girl laying on the floor while she whimpered in front of me doesn't smell normal.
"Is she claimed?" I asked as I looked at her neck to confirm her status.
Before the slow negative response from the other Alpha, I already knew the answer.
Carefully, I raised her to sit on the floor and stared blankly into her eyes.
"She smells like she is been claimed" I clenched my fist as I turned back to look at Alpha Jaxon "I bet you both have your explanations".
I didn't look up at them, all I did at that point was to stare at Rain. My finger traced her scars, both fresh and healing scar.
My Index finger raised her jaw as I stared into her scared eyes. All I wanted to see is that look, that look one gets when they see what belongs to them but none, she looks as scared as death.
No matter how I tried to keep eye contact, to find that small part that will let her know who's hands she has gotten herself all I keep seeing is fear.
Deep endless fear and that made me p*ss*d.
I clenched my palm and growled inwardly. My claws dug into my skin as I forced myself not to shift. All I could see is red, pure red that all I wants is to get hold of whoever!! Who so ever that has done this to Rain and snap their head off their body.
'Your mate?'. My beta Hawk mindlinked me.
It sounded like a suggestion, a straight gest, and a question at the same time.
But yes, she is my mate! My... my... weak mate! How do wonderful!! How could the moon goddess let my ex mate reject me few days ago I ky to give me a new one?
If I could change some things, I would have wanted to remain with her. To teach her things she never knew and show her that I could make her bend to my f*ck*ng orders!
I could punish her till she realizes that I am her mate and Alpha! I would break her till she knew how much....
'pssss! Pssss! Alpha, are you asleep with your eyes open?' Hawk mindlinked me again.
Without hesitation, I glared at him. This dude never realize I something don't want problem. If he wasn't my best friend and beta, I might have strangled him and lied that he died in his sleep or something.
I can as well decide not to have a beta so I can have peace and silent but no! Either I like it or not, Hawk cam ad well as as his awesome sh*t he is.
'Perfect! You re back' he said again.
Not pleased, I looked back to see my Beta staring at me in total shock and disbelief. Of all people, Beta Hawk would not want to believe what he sees.
And I know it, he just doesn't want to believe his Alpha is getting into something so soon.
'Your mate' Hawk's mind linked me again.
In silence, he stood up and walked back to my previous position. I took my seat, resume my coffee, and eyed the two Alphas in front of me. The fact that one of them had laid hands on my mate makes me want to tear him apart but still, I can't take matters too fast.
My eyes landed on Hawk who immediately looked away hiding his laughter, he can't be seriously wanting to laugh in a situation like this. Focusing on where he would look, before turning away, I decided to look.
This is so embarrassing!
Instead of the coffee cup, I am sipping from the flat plate while I hold the cup below the plate. What the hell have I been sipping for the past few seconds?!
I placed the objects down, straighten the invisible rumple sides of my cloak, and growled inwardly.
'This just get twisted' Mox, my wolf grumbled.
Again we search but yet nothing. I can't feel her wolf, I am having this connection to her that obviously she is my mate but it looks like her wolf is maybe dead or...
"Is she human?".
Alpha Jaxon looked at me than his son. Mere looking at them I know they are mind linking themselves, what I don't understand is if they are not sure if she is a wolf.
Tapping my left foot on the floor simultaneously, I raised my left brow higher than the right as I waited impatiently.
"Alpha Jaxon and Alpha Brook, hope you don't expect me to answer myself".
Bet he doesn't, not when he had to look at his son for permission first.
Clearing his throat awkwardly, Alpha Jaxon looked at his son longer his time and fake a smile.
"Rain, her name is Ra-".
"Her name is Rain" I interrupted "We don't have all day".
I can't believe this! How can she be working in the houses of the higher Wolves and they don't know if she is a wolf or human? It better not be that they are into slavery with other parks.
"The fact is that she has been with us for more than eight years and she hasn't..." Alpha Jaxon trailed off "She is uhmm...".
"An Omega wolf" Brook yelled "She is an Omega wolf and she is such a good girl" he paused for a few seconds breathing hard "I apologize on her behalf, she is my good girl and she will not do it again".
I growled.
Brook might just be mistaken, he doesn't mean to call my Mate his. Is that why she smells like a male wolf? Is that why she kept looking at him like she is looking at him now?
He better not be that he is having something with her! I just don't want to imagine another wolf having sxx with my mate.
I want to get hold of Brook and let him know that not all things need to be touched, even if, he dares not leave them like this. He dare not leave them broken, wounded, and scared.
"So, Brook" I managed to compose myself "If I am correct, I heard she is still unmated" I paused, struggling to use the right and less offensive words I stood up and walked to Rain.
Our gazes locked as I stoop to meet her gaze well, the truth can be easily seen in her eyes.
"How many times have you had sxx with, her?" I blurted out.
