CHAPTER TWENTY''NINE

19:30 '' Office '' Bogotá '' Colombia.

I woke up two hours after he left the office, I spent the rest of the night inside this huge office, I didn't want to leave and I didn't want anything other than Santiago. My heart is anguished just thinking about him at this moment exchanging shots with someone, I just want him back here by my side.

I let out a sigh and looked again at the clock on the wall and see that it's seven thirty''five at night, I haven't eaten anything and to tell the truth I don't feel hungry at all, when I'm worried like that, hunger doesn't even say hello.

I looked at the door that was opened by Tiago.

'' My lady, I brought you something to eat. '' I see that he has a sandwich in his right hand and in his left he has a bottle of juice.

'' I'm not hungry. '' I spoke and he approached me.

'' But you need to eat, if you get sick, my head is at stake. '' He said jokingly and that made me smile slightly.

'' True, the way he is, he could actually have your head bitten off. '' I accept the sandwich and the juice.

I let out a sigh and lay down on the couch, still smelling him.

I closed my eyes and soon I felt sleep come, it didn't even take two minutes and I was already in the world of dreams.

I wake up with a hand on my cheek.

''It's time to wake up, my love. '' I heard Santiago's voice and quickly sat down on the sofa, getting a little dizzy after getting up too quickly. '' Hey, calm down.

I looked at him looking for any injuries.

'' I'm fine, my love. I just got shot in the shoulder.

I opened my eyes wide and looked at his shoulder and saw some of the bandages.

He opened his dress shirt and I saw a huge bandage on his shoulder.

'' What happened? '' I asked, placing my hand lightly on his shoulder.

'' I got careless and got shot in the shoulder, but don't worry, the doctor said it wasn't that serious, I took blood and was released. '' I looked seriously at him, who then snorted. '' Okay, I discharged myself.

He helped me get up and we left his office hand in hand and walked downstairs, I saw Thomas sitting talking to Tiago and Jonas, he also had a bandage on his leg.

'' Was he hurt too? '' I asked worriedly.

'' Yes, but he'll be fine, Thomas is a vessel that doesn't break that easily. '' He said smiling.

'' Guys, we're going home, I want you all to rest. '' He spoke calmly.

'' You can let me rest very well. '' Thomas said, smiling mischievously. '' My wife may be angry, but seeing me all hurt is kind of loving.

I ended up laughing a little at that.

'' I don't even know, anyway, Tiago ask Charles to call my pilot, I want to travel to my beach house with my wife, I deserve a long rest. '' I looked at him in surprise.

'' Yes, I want to be in peace for a week, away from everything. '' He said, putting his arm around my waist.

I also want to get away from everything and just spend some time with him.

'' Come on, Jonas. '' Jonas nodded and said goodbye to the two and we went to the car. '' Jonas, you will also have a vacation as soon as we travel, you can do whatever you want.

We get in the car and I intertwine our fingers.

We went inside the mansion and walked to our room, the only thing I want most is to just lay down and hug''it. '' We entered our room and I quickly pulled him onto our bed.

I helped him take off his dress shirt and we lay down on the bed, I laid my head on his chest where it's not hurt.

'' Tomorrow I will have''it just for me. '' I kissed your chest affectionately.

'' And I will have''it just for me. '' He kissed my hair affectionately.

Just smelling it makes me feel completely calm.

'' I love you Santiago. '' I spoke with my eyes closed.

I kissed his chest again and got comfortable on his chest and soon fell asleep very peacefully.
