Chapter 3 Sisters, I’m back!
The anger in John’s heart was like a monster that crawled out of hell, crazily tearing his nerves and making him impulsive.
Mr. Wodehouse was frightened and hurriedly stroked his face.
“John, my boy, I told you this just because I don’t want to hide anything from you, not for pushing you to do something stupid!”
At first, he didn’t dare to tell the truth to John, because he was afraid that he would make trouble for the Excellence Real Estate.
The Excellence Real Estate had a strong political background and no one dared to go against them.
The old man’s wrinkled palm rubbed his face, which made John back to his sense.
“I’m sorry, Grandpa, I scared you.”
“My child, promise me that you won’t mess with the Excellence Real Estate, okay?” Mr. Wodehouse begged.
“Don’t worry, Grandpa. I won’t do anything stupid.”
“Good boy.”
Mr. Wodehouse breathed a sigh of relief. He suddenly thought of something and smiled, “Your sisters will be very happy if they know that you are still alive.”
“How are my sisters?” John asked excitedly.
“Well, they all have their own business andsend me money every month… By the way, I have their photos
here.”
Photos?
‘We haven’t seen each other for fifteen years. What do they look like now?” John muttered to himself in his
heart.
Of course, no matter how much his sisters were changed over these years, they were still the women that John loved most in his life.
Mr. Wodehouse entered the room and carefully took out a stack of photos from the drawer.
John made his eyes wide open and couldn’t wait to take a look.
“They… Are they my sister?”
John looked at his sisters in the photo one by one, although they had changed a lot, they were all as
beautiful as the goddess.
Mr. Wodehouse smiled and said, “Your sisters are not only good-looking but also outstanding!”
John nodded firmly.
At that time, Gary, who had come to his senses, suddenly climbed to the feet of Walter pathetically,
“Grandpa, please give me two hundred thousand, I need it!”
He was going to pretend to be pathetic this time.
Mr. Wodehouse was having a good chat with John, but his good mood was soon ruined by Gary’s words. Then he said angrily
“You unfilial grandson, how dare you ask for money from me?”
“No, Grandpa. It’s… it’s because… …”
“What? Tell me now. Did you get into any trouble outside?”
Seeing that he couldn’t hide it anymore, Gary had to bite the bullet and said
“Because I owed a debt in the casino. They said… If I couldn’t pay the money in a week, they would cut off my
hand.”
“What? How dare you go to the casino? I’ll beat you to death, you bastard!”
Hearing that Gary owed money in the casino, Mr. Wodehouse was furious. He grabbed the broom and swiped
it at Gary.
Gary didn’t dodge and still pleaded, “I know I was out of my mind, but it has already happened. Now I have no choice… So I asked you for money…”
“You bastard! Are you trying to make me die of anger?”
Mr. Wodehouse almost went mad.
At this moment, a cold voice came from afar, “Gary, I have warned you not to make grandpa angry again. Did you forget what I told you before?
Suddenly, a tall woman came to the yard.
She was extremely beautiful, and her temperament was cold and gorgeous. Her long black hair was coiled up behind her head, which showed her elegance.
The noble white suit couldn’t hide her curvaceous figure at all. She was surely a goddess in every aspect.
Oh, my goddess!
The first time he looked in her direction, he was attracted by her, with tears in his eyes.
She was his elder sister.
The sister that John hadn’t seen for fifteen years.
Queenie.
She was more beautiful and colder than what John had seen in the photo just now

When John looked at Queenie, Queenie also saw him.
When the four eyes met.
Queenie’s delicate body trembled slightly, and there was a hint of surprise in her beautiful eyes, but she quickly turned to normal, as if nothing had happened.
“Gary, for the sake of Grandpa, I’ll help you for the last time. If you dare to mess around again, I’ll break your
legs.”
To stop him from making Mr. Wodehouse upset, Queenie wrote a check for two hundred thousand dollars
and threw it to Gary.
Gary was ecstatic, “Thank you, sister.”
“Don’t call me sister. I feel sick.” Queenie said in disgust.
“Ha ha…”
Gary grinned cheekily. Anyway, he had got the money. It didn’t matter what attitude Queenie had toward him.
“Sister, it’s me.”
At this time, John couldn’t hold it anymore and decided to call her gently.
Having fought on the battlefield for five years, John had already been a tough man. He didn’t show any timidity even in the face of a million enemies.
However, at this moment, looking at his sister, Queenie, who was so close to him, he felt nervous and shy.
Iron man also had tenderness.
The tenderness of John was his seven sisters.
Queenie’s delicate body trembled.
This call brought her back to fifteen years ago and reminded her of the younger brother who she missed
every day and night.
She twisted her neck stiffly and looked at the familiar face. Her voice trembled:
“You are… You are…”
Queenie couldn’t believe it.
As soon as she came in, she saw John. At that time, she felt that this young man was very similar to her younger brother who had died in the fire.
But she didn’t dare to recognize him because she was afraid that she would be disappointed if she was
wrong.
Even though she was called “sister” by John, whose tone and expression was so similar to her younger
brother, she still couldn’t believe it.
It was not until Mr. Wodehouse smiled and said, “Queenie, he is your brother John. He has come back.”
“John…”
All of a sudden, Queenle was lost in thought. Did her brother John come back?
“Sister, it’s me. I’m back.”
With a gentle smile, John strode forward and hugged her.
Her soft body tensed in an instant, and a trace of resistance flashed through her cold eyes, but it was not too
obvious.
“John, it’s you! I’m so happy that you’re back!”
While saying that, Queenie stepped back slightly and broke free from John’s arms.
John was stunned.
His sister’s reaction was a little out of his expectation.
She was not as excited as he thought, nor did she ask him how he survived the fire.
It was more like a pair of old friends who hadn’t seen each other for a long time and greeted each other.
That was nothing more.
After fifteen years, they were estranged at last.
The corners of John’s mouth twitched. He suddenly realized a serious problem. Could it be that his sister had already had her own family, so she had to avoid him?
After all, they were siblings but not related by blood.
If so, John could only wish happiness to her from the bottom of his heart
Mr. Wodehouse didn’t notice the subtle atmosphere in the air. He told the two of them to sit down with a kind
smile and talked to them about their daily lives.
During the conversation, Queenie didn’t ask John anything about him.
The bitterness in his heart grew stronger..
Maybe they had already distanced themselves from each other!
