Chapter 6: He is mine

Narrator POV:

4 AM in the morning, and V who is also known for another name of Violence, is comforting a girl. Never in his wildest dreams he thought of doing something like this. But he didn't dislike it, rather he felt good. 

On the other hand, Ella felt relaxed to have someone by her side. To finally have a friend. She was happy even in her worst of her life.

Ella's POV:

The way V hugged felt warm and good in a weird way. I could feel myself blushing in his embrace. Slowly, I fell asleep in his arms without knowing he was already asleep.

Today was one of the best days of my life. After we woke up, we had a lot of fun. We became closer. He kept nagging me to smile all the time and cracked jokes whenever I felt down. So this is what it feels like to have a close friend.

It is funny to think of someone whom I only a while ago as a close friend but it's nice to have someone.

"V, I am going to hang out with one of my workmates. I might be late so don't wait for me okay?" He immediately frowned at my statement.

"I don't want to be alone." He started to whine. Aish, again starting to act like a kid.

"I'm sorry, I wish I could take you with me, but you're still not recovered and you need to rest." I told him as I got ready, leaving before he could start nagging me again.

Ethan's POV:

She told me not to wait, but I couldn't stop worrying about her. I started pacing back and forth in the bed room. 

And as soon as I heard the door click open, I immediately went to greet Ella—wait, let me be clear: Drunk Ella.

She immediately threw herself onto me and smiled pinching my nose. "Aww you waited for me. So cute, hehe." So this is how she's like when drunk.

"Are you drunk?" I asked the obvious question. 

"Me, me? No I am not drrrruuuunk."

I sighed.

"Maybe a little. Pie, don't get mad." This time she kissed me on my cheeks!!

I froze. But then she fell asleep on my shoulders, standing.

I took her to the bed and hugged her. As I was going to stand, she held my wrist. "Please, don't leave me." I smiled and slowly removed her hand away while kissing her forehead.

"Don't worry. I will never leave you. Even if you begged me to."

*The next day*

Ethan's POV:

I was following Ella around with a pout on my face, hoping it would stop her from going to school. I don't want to be alone. It's boring. Besides, she's cute and I want to be with her. 

Yeah, yeah, I realised that I have feelings for her. But, after what I heard from her yesterday, I am sure she can't return my feelings.

*Flashback*

"Hey, are you alright now? I mean, you cried yesterday, didn't eat anything, and today in the morni—"

"I am fine. Besides, I realised I was stupid to love a guy who never respected me." She had a sad smile etched on her face.

"Wait, you know that I don't know anything right?"

She sighed.

"Mark, he is my boyfriend. Well, he was until he decided to dump me over another girl who he found more beautiful than me. I loved him. I loved him a lot." She started crying again. 

*End of Flashback*

I just hope that she moves on from that stupid jerk. She deserves much better.

If it were me, I would keep her and treasure her more.

"I'm off." She said breaking my thoughts.

"Wait." I pulled her and hugged her keeping my head on the crook of her neck.

"Just don't cry again. Everything will be alright." She smiled while pulling off.

"I won't, don't worry." She chirped happily. If only, she knows how I fell for that smile.

*At school*

Reyeas' POV:

How long has it been since I could handle the pain easily and go to my normal routine like nothing? 

Well, who knows? I went to my locker when I heard girls gossiping and squealing.

"Gosh, isn't V looking so cute in this picture?"

"I already saw this one. Don't you have the latest."

"No, he might be really busy. Since he hasn't uploaded any photos in more than 3 days."

Did I hear right? V?! Nah, it might be someone else.

"You know a lot about V. Are you stalking his account every day?"

"Yeah. Obviously duh, I like him after all. I wish I could marry him someday. His cold attitude and that brown eyes are the best." Even in the business party I attended with my father, he looked as perfect as ever."

I really could not shake my curiosity.

"Yeah, just wish that he would not kill you. You know the rumours saying that he has connections with the mafia, right?"

ARGH! My curiosity won out and I went towards them to try to learn who this other V really was, one who had connections with mafia? He will really be shocked to know about it.

"Hey, can I also see who V is?" I asked them as they stared at me shocked, confused as I never talk to anyone.

"Sure, but know that he is mine." As if I could be interested in him.

I took the phone from her hands. I immediately gasped when I saw who it was. This is my V. The V I saved. The one I have locked up in my home.

"Told you he's mine." She took her phone and left with her friends leaving me shocked and dumbfounded in my own thoughts.
