Chapter 219 Emotional Strain

Chapter 219 Emotional Strain
POV: Luna
After the battle, I collapsed. Physically. Emotionally. Completely.
Too much fighting. Too much magic. Too much emotional turmoil.
Liam found me in my dorm. Held me. Comforted me.
"You're okay," he murmured. "Safe. Survived. Everyone survived."
"For now. But Cole's coming. His full return. His final attack. And I don't know if we'll survive that."
"We will. Like we always do. Together. United. Refusing to fall."
Through the mate bond, we shared strength. Love. Certainty.
"I need to tell you something," Liam said. "About Caleb. About what I felt during the battle."
"What?"
"When you two merged magic. When you fought together. When you freed me from shadow magic. I felt it. Through our bond. Through your connection to him. Soul recognition. Perfect harmony. Impossible compatibility."
"I know. I felt it too."
"He's Miguel. I'm certain. You're certain. Everyone's certain. The only question is when he confirms. When he stops hiding. When he accepts his truth."
"He promised. After the battle. After Cole's defeated. After everything's safe. Then he reveals."
"And when he does? When he confirms he's Miguel returned? What happens to us? To our bond? To our love?"
"I don't know. But I know this. You're my mate. My choice. My bond. That doesn't change. Won't change. Regardless of who Caleb is. Who he was. What he represents."
"But you love him too. Love Miguel. Always have. Never stopped. Just buried those feelings. Waiting for him to return."
"Maybe. Probably. Yes. But that doesn't diminish what we have. Our bond is real. Strong. Permanent. Miguel's return complicates it. Expands it. Changes it. But doesn't erase it."
"The prophecy. Two souls as mates. You really believe you're meant to have both of us?"
"I don't know what I believe anymore. But my instincts say yes. My mark says yes. My wolf says yes. Everything except my rational mind says the goddess designed me for multiple bonds. Multiple loves. Multiple impossibilities."
"Then I accept. Not easily. Not without fear. But I accept. Because I love you. And if loving you means sharing you with Miguel. Means navigating multiple bonds. Means accepting goddess-designed destiny. Then I'll do it. For you. For us. For whatever this becomes."
We kissed. Deeply. Reaffirming. Reconnecting.
Through the mate bond, I felt his acceptance. His love. His willingness to try.
And through my Eclipse mark, I felt Caleb's presence. Watching. Waiting. Protecting.
Always protecting.
My friends appeared. Looking concerned. Worried. Supportive.
"We need to talk," Nova said. "About you. About Caleb. About your distracted behavior."
"I know. I'm struggling. Fighting. Torn between impossible certainties."
"We've noticed," Aria said gently. "The way you look at him. Trust him. Connect with him. It's different. Deeper. More primal than normal alliance."
"Because he's Miguel," I admitted. "I'm certain. Absolutely certain. He's Miguel returned. Reformed. Reincarnated. Whatever mechanism the goddess used. It's him. My first love. My lost connection. My returned soul."
"And that's okay," Sienna said. "Loving him. Recognizing him. Accepting him. You don't have to choose between him and Liam. The prophecy allows both. Encourages both. Demands both."
"How do I navigate that? How do I love two people? How do I maintain two bonds? How do I not destroy everything by wanting too much?"
"You trust the goddess," Lyric said. "Trust the prophecy. Trust your instincts. The goddess designed you for this. Multiple bonds. Multiple loves. Multiple impossibilities. You're not doing anything wrong. You're fulfilling your destiny."
"It feels wrong. Selfish. Greedy. Wanting both. Needing both. Loving both."
"It feels right to your wolf. To your mark. To your soul. That's what matters. Not social expectations. Not traditional bonds. Not other people's opinions. Just what the goddess designed you for."
Through the pack bonds, I felt their absolute support. Their understanding. Their refusal to judge.
"We're here," Nova said. "Whatever you need. However this unfolds. However you navigate multiple bonds. We support you. Love you. Stand beside you."
"Thank you. For everything. For understanding. For not judging. For loving me despite my complications."
"Your complications make you you. And we love you. All of you. Complications included."
That night, I found a note. Slipped under my door. Handwritten. Caleb's handwriting.
There's a reason we're connected—soon you'll understand.
When Cole returns. When the final battle begins. When you need all your strength.
Then I'll reveal everything. Confirm everything. Become everything.
Miguel. Returned. Reformed. Real.
For you. With you. Beside you.
Forever.
Wait for me. Just a little longer.

I read it three times. Crying. Accepting. Understanding.
He was Miguel. Absolutely. Undeniably. Impossibly.
And soon. Very soon. He'd confirm it. Reveal it. Accept it.
And everything would change.
My bonds. My loves. My destiny.
All of it transforming. Expanding. Becoming something I'd never imagined.
Multiple mates. Multiple loves. Multiple impossibilities.
Goddess-designed. Prophecy-confirmed. Destiny-ordained.
And I would accept it. Navigate it. Survive it.
Because that's what I did.
Accepted impossibilities. Navigated complications. Survived destinies.
Always.
