Chapter 60 Our Family Is Growing 2

Chapter 60 Our Family Is Growing 2
After the call, I get dressed and go downstairs so I can enjoy the lasagna that Kora is making.

"Where's my princess?" I ask her, walking into the kitchen.

She's sleeping, ma'am.

I fed her milk, and little Nadia fell asleep.

I already told you to stop using "ma'am," just call me Madi, please.

That sounds so old, and I'm not even 28 yet.

Okay, Ms. Madi.

That's right, I like it like that.

"So, isn't the lasagna coming out yet?" Laura asks.

"I'll take it off now," Kora replies.

That smell was delicious.

I was afraid I'd get sick of it again, but thank God I was able to eat the treat.

I had eaten 3 more plates, and so did Laura.

This lasagna is sweet, Kora.

Thank you - she said, embarrassed.

After eating, I pop into my daughter's room to check if she hasn't woken up and she is sleeping peacefully.

I love watching her sleep; it brings me such great peace.

Later that night Dimitri returned, but I was so tired that I only heard his voice and fell back into a deep sleep.

Wake up, love - I hear Dimitri's voice.

hmmmm.

I grumble, not wanting to wake up.

Madi, you've already overslept.

I arrived home yesterday and you were still asleep, and now it's almost 11:00 in the morning.

I get up feeling a bit lazy and see Dimitre all dressed up for work, the grayish suit he's wearing clings to his muscles and wakes up my little friend down there.

Why are you looking at me like that?

"You look very sexy in that suit,"
I said, biting my lip.

Madi, he said my name with desire.

I can already see a bulge forming in his pants.

"I have a meeting now," he said.

That's a shame, I had other plans for you right now.

I speak while lifting my shirt and taking it off completely, leaving me in just my white lace panties.

Damn it- Dimitre said..

What's wrong, love?

Don't you have a meeting? I think you're going to be late.

Screw It.

He takes his cell phone out of his pocket, calls someone and says...

Cancel the meeting.

2 weeks later

Finally, the big day arrived.

I was a bundle of nerves, but also overflowing with happiness that could barely fit in my chest.

I was ready to meet Dimitre, ready for the much-talked-about "Happily ever after."

You look beautiful, Madi.

Cohen said behind me.

I smile at him in the mirror; Cohen is the one who's going to take me to Dimitre.

Who could have imagined, right? We've been through so much together, and now he's going to take me to meet the man of my life.

Thank you, Cohen, is it time?

Yes, it is.

Shall we go?

Yes, let's go.

I picked up my bouquet and linked arms with Cohen's; my Nadia was already with Laura, and she looked beautiful.

I hear the music playing and take a deep breath before taking my first step.

When I see Dimitre waiting for me, I can't look at anyone else.

He looked incredibly handsome in his black suit, so elegant with that commanding air that only he has.

It feels like an eternity until I reach the altar.

Cohen hands me over to him, and he gives me a gentle kiss on the forehead.

You look wonderful, my Madi.

I smile at him.

We stood facing the priest, and while he spoke, Dimitri and I stared intently into each other's eyes.

Dimitri Thompson, do you take Madison as your lawfully wedded wife, to love and cherish her, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, until death do you part?

Yes, I do.

Madison, do you accept Dimitri as your lawful wedded husband, to love and respect him..........

Yes, I do.

I interrupted the priest mid-speech and everyone laughed.

I couldn't resist; the words slipped out of my mouth, and I couldn't control myself.

So I pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride.

"With pleasure," Dimitre said.

He kisses me, a kiss full of promises for the future.

I can't wait to have you in my bed, Mrs. Thompson.

I shudder at his words in my ear.

Everyone claps and comes to greet us; I don't know most of the people, but I still can't help but smile.

The party was beautiful, we had a lot of fun, we danced, I threw the bouquet, which unfortunately didn't fall into the hands of the person I wanted, we introduced Nadia to everyone, and she seemed quite comfortable with so much attention.

It was an unforgettable night, better than I imagined.

The only person missing was Dimitre's mother, I haven't had the opportunity to meet her yet because Dimitre doesn't want any contact with her.

Even so, I sent an invitation but she didn't show up.

"Don't forget to wear the lingerie I bought for your night, okay?" Laura said, pulling me from my reverie.

I'll use it, don't worry.

I moved away from Laura and went to Dimitri, who was with some friends from the company.

I ask permission to steal him away for a little while, taking him to the garden.

What is it, my love, that makes you bring me here?

I want to give you a wedding gift.

Hey, here it is?

I don't see any package.

I get close to him, take his hand and bring it to my lips, kissing it, then slowly lower it until it reaches my belly and I smile.

Congratulation Dad, our family is going to grow.
