Chapter 19 The Devil & The Tigress Part2

Chapter 19 The Devil & The Tigress Part2
SANCIA

“What did you think? That I was a virgin? That I was untouched?” I asked scathingly.

“Did you think men were the only ones who have needs? Women have them too, you know, it's hypocritical of you to think we don't feel the same.” he arched a dark brow.

“Are you telling me you're a sex addict, Sancia? Because if that's what you are trying to say, let me assure you that I can and will take care of your needs,” he drawled.

My face heated with fury and embarrassment as he ran his eyes over me boldly. No man has ever looked at me with so much heat in his eyes, or with blatant disregard for my Papa's wrath before.

“I'd rather shave my hair than have sex with you, ever.” I retorted, and I will do everything in my power to make sure it never happens. He stepped so close, I glared at him.

“I will remind you that you said that when I'm buried deep inside you, and you're coming around my cock,” he said so nonchalantly as though I was one of his whore and I know he has many, probably even a mistress somewhere. It's nothing new in our world.

But his eyes, those honey-brown orbs, seared me with the heat in his gaze. No one had ever talked to me like this and, strangely, my whole body has turned warm.

“You…” I shook my head and stumbled back, dislodging the image his words were painting in my head. Though I knew what body part went where during sex, I'd never seen the act itself. My life was such that I barely knew how to kiss until Antonio taught me, and that's all I knew.

“You still have time to change your mind. I'm what did you call it…? A loose woman, I will never be faithful to you,” I said boldly.

His lips twitch. “Oh, you will be.”

“No, I won't,” I hissed.

“We'll see,” the devil said with a dark grin.

“No, we won't,” I replied with a glare. He wasn't taking me seriously. It's frustrating as hell.

“If you fuck before marriage in your family, that's a crime, right? It's your rules.”

“Not to me it's not, and these aren't my rules,” I deny hotly.

He arched that dark brow. “No? Then elaborate because I do not understand what you mean.”

“I'm telling you I've had sex with Antonio countless times. So if you're expecting me to be a virgin and a loyal wife to you, I'll tell you now that's something I will never be because you're not the man I love.”

My cheeks were burning with everything I'd said, which were all lies, but I refused to look away. I know saying this kind of thing could get me whipped if it's proven that I was, in fact, not a virgin.

I would be considered a disgrace and might either be an outcast or get married to the lowest of soldiers as punishment. But it was the former I was counting on; it wouldn't do if my effort only got me demoted to a soldier's wife.

Lorenzo Marchetti either thinks I was amusing or just plain crazy. Because his eyes were glinting with amusement, though he didn't laugh outright at me, which would have pissed me off, and I would insult him or punch him in his face, and then he would shoot me for my audacity, which might start another war.

“I'm guessing there's a reason why you are telling me this,” he replied, cool as a cucumber.

“You should stick with Isabella,” I blurted.
“She's beautiful, good, and would be a loyal and obedient wife to you.”

God forgive me, but I didn't care that I was being selfish or that I was throwing my kind sister under the metaphorical bus.

He was hers first, she was supposed to marry him, until the devil decided to change his mind and chose me. I just want out; I'm only nineteen, and I don't want to get married now, especially to this man.

In a way, I'm helping her for some misguided reason. Tina told me that Isabella finds him attractive. I am in my first year of college and enjoying my youth.

Marriage should be the last thing on my mind, though I've always known about it. My marriage was supposed to be with Antonio.

Not to mention, now that I've started college, I had hoped that Papa would let me finish before I get married, but due to this Diavolo's evil machinations, my entire life is in upheaval.

“I don't want Isabella. I want you,” he replied, brow arching.

My temper flares as I continue as though I didn't hear him. “I'm not any of those things; I'm neither loyal nor obedient. You can tell my family that you don't want me since I'm not a virgin. As I've said earlier, I've fuck Antonio…,”

My eyes widened when he took a step closer. I took one back and swallowed nervously. Lorenzo yanked me to him, grabbing my hips, plastering me against his hard body.

I tried to move, but the man was a brickwall.

“That should be the last time you say that bastard’s name, that's if you ever care about him at all. I've listened to all your nonsense, and not a single thing you said will stop me from marrying you, he gritted.

“I sincerely hope, for that idiot’s sake—that you were joking just now. Because if I find out you allowed him, or anyone else, to put a hand anywhere on your body…”

His fingers tangle in my hair, winding the strands around his fist as he forces my gaze to meet his. “I will butcher him right in front of you, slowly.” His grip tightens on my hair.
