Chapter 120 Morning After
Alessia’s POV
Morning comes quicker than I hoped ,my heart is at peace and all I feel is a rush of warmth as Alex’s hot body spoons me from behind. His steady breathing indicating he is still fast asleep .I close my eyes and try to sleep again because I am not ready to step out of the room and face the music . All I want is to remain in this position for a while longer , the coven ,La Rosa ,The entire world can wait … As I start to drift off I hear a gentle knock on the door , easing out of his arms reluctantly I pick up my robe and tie it around my waist before opening the door . Luca stands by the doorway fully dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. “Good Morning Alessia” his voice so vibrant and full of cheer I wonder briefly if he also got some last night . Blushing red I turn and leave him by the entrance as he enters and shuts the door quietly .
Turning towards the bed , I notice Alex is already awake. He scowls at Luca, and I hide my grin with a cough.
“Luca why are you here so early? leave” Alex mutters leaning back on the headboard as a yawn escapes him.
“I will like to leave” Luca Replies dryly “but I am here to fetch you before Mara comes and finds you here.”
Sigh oh right we are still pretending
Alex groans “I had forgotten about Mara”
“Well I didnt” Luca says “but you can thank me later, come on chop chop”
I watch their exchnage amusedly as Alex slowly gets off the bed and walks towards me, making her heart to start beating fast.
“Alessia are you okay?Did you sleep well?”He asks me quietly I know what he is asking but I can't very well tell him my lady bits are sore because of our intense lovemaking in front of Luca can I? So rather all I say is “Yes Alex I slept like a baby.”
Alex nods tilting his face into a small smile “Let me go and get dressed”
Luca cuts in “So I take it both of you are back together?”
I feel my cheeks warming up as I steal a glance at Alex then luca ignoring his question completlely.
“Yes luca” Alex answers quietly “We are good.”
“Okay so let's go so that Mara doesn't get suspicious” Luca adds
I wonder how long we can hide it for.
I don't know how to fake my emotions but I will need to try.
Moving towards the door they step out together and shut it quietly.
Silence settles in the room again.
Shivering I yawn ,Still tired from our nights adventures and tender but I know Mara will be hear soon the sooner I have a bath the better.Stepping into the bathrom I strip and feel some warmth against my right thigh.
Looking down I notice something “I wonder what that is “ I look closer and I gasp!
There On my mid-thigh is a delicate marking similar to a tattoo. It is inked in gold and red hue and when I looks closer it looks like the flower is still blooming!
“What in God's name is that?”I whisper to myself in the empty bathroom.
Taking deep breaths I have a quick shower my mind running in a million and one likely reasons why a Flower will appear on my thigh. I dress in a long black flowing gown in record time wanting to get across to Alex before we head out for breakfast
As soon as I step out of the bathroom I find him and Luca seated on the sofa muttering under their breath about Sicily and security.
“Alex I need to show you something!” glancing towards luca I know I can't show him in his prescence .
Luca gets it “I will be waiting for you two love birds outside” he throws at us as he walks out. As soon as he shuts the door my heart beating in my chest I lift my dress and Alex’s eyes widen with a knowing look.
He doesnt look surprised !
“Did you find -” he raises his shirt and sure enough he has an indentical marking on his torso.
“I thought it was only me” Alex mumbles
“When did we get matching tattos?” I ask softly wondering if I have started sleepwalking.
“We didn't”
A few seconds passes in heavy silence then realization dawns on me

“I think it is a bond mark” Alex says carefully as he examins mine rubbing his fingers over it reverently my body shivering in response.
My heart thuds in my chest loudly “Like a Bond Mark between mates ?” Are we Mated now? Is it that easy for witches ? What happens if we fight or break up ? Does it dissapear?”
Taking a shaky breath , He reaches for me tucking me into his side “I would not call it a mating for life per say” he adds quickly “please do not panic Alessia”
He says to the lady that has already started panicking !
Raising my head I just stare at him for a moment
“We can ask Lucy about it” he continues “but I am certain it has to do with our consummation last night, our union…”

The word consummation makes my cheek tingle sounds like a word that was used during stone ages it's so ancient.
“Okay”I say immediately “I am sure she will know”
Alex rubs my shoulders in gentle circlur motion “For now lets hide it from everyone”

A knock interrupts us as the door is opened before we can ask who it is .
“Alex mara will be here any minute lets go to the next room.”
Turning to him I give him a small smile knowing we have our own secret that nobody knows about feels good to be honest.
“See you later” I whisper as he gives me one last kiss on the lips and Luca drags him off .Settling back on the sofa I wait for Mara ..
