Chapter 45 CHAPTER 45

Chapter 45 CHAPTER 45
CHAPTER 45
YAEL

My phone buzzed again.

Knox: still awake, princess?

Me: unfortunately. my brain is replaying that car scene on loop
Me: you broke me

Knox: broke you how exactly
Knox: be specific

I bit my lip, grinning like an idiot.

Me: my lips are still tingling
Me: and my heart won’t chill
Me: also i think i forgot how words work for a solid ten minutes

Knox: good
Knox: that was the plan A

Me: what was plan B?

Knox: drag you into the backseat and ruin your reputation myself

I squeaked out loud in my empty dorm room.

Me: KNOX
Me: you can’t just SAY that

Knox: why not
Knox: you’re my girlfriend now
Knox: i’m allowed to have impure thoughts about you

My stomach flipped.

Me: you’re evil
Me: also i’m wearing your hoodie btw
Me: it smells like you and it’s making everything worse

Knox: fuck
Knox: send pic

I rolled my eyes but still propped my phone up, tugged the hood up, and snapped a mirror selfie—hoodie hanging off one shoulder, cherry shorts barely visible, hair messy, lips swollen from earlier. I looked… debauched. Perfect.

Me: \[photo attached\]
Me: happy now?

Knox: jesus christ yael
Knox: those shorts should be illegal
Knox: are you trying to kill me

Me: maybe
Me: you started it with the whole “come here” thing in the car

Knox: you climbed me like a tree
Knox: don’t act innocent

I laughed, rolling onto my back.

Me: i did NOT climb you
Me: you yanked me
Me: big difference

Knox: keep telling yourself that
Knox: i felt your legs wrap around me

My face went nuclear.

Me: shut uppppp
Me: anyway i’m comfy now
Me: hoodie + tiny shorts + thinking about your mouth = perfect night

I hit send before my brain caught up.

Then I froze.

Oh no.

That sounded… really bad.

Like really, really bad.

Me: I MEANT THINKING ABOUT KISSING YOU
Me: NOT ANYTHING ELSE
Me: OH MY GOD IGNORE THAT

Knox: …
Knox: too late
Knox: my brain went straight to the gutter
Knox: and it’s staying there

Me: KNOX

Knox: tell me, princess
Knox: when you say “thinking about my mouth”
Knox: exactly where do you picture it

I slapped a hand over my face, thighs pressing together on pure instinct.

Me: you’re the worst
Me: i hate you

Knox: liar
Knox: you’re blushing aren’t you

Me: …maybe

Knox: are you in bed

Me: yes

Knox: lights off?

Me: just my fairy lights

Knox: fuck that’s cute
Knox: touch your neck for me

I swallowed hard.

Me: why

Knox: because that’s where i want my mouth right now
Knox: do it

My fingers were shaking as I trailed them down my throat.

Me: okay…

Knox: lower

I slid my hand to the hollow between my collarbones, inside the hoodie.

Me: Knox…

Knox: you wet, baby?

I whimpered. Actually whimpered.

Me: yes
Me: this is your fault

Knox: good girl
Knox: keep going

My phone started ringing.

Knox’s name, FaceTime.

I nearly dropped it, then answered, propping it against a pillow so he could see me curled up, hoodie drowning me, cheeks on fire.

His face filled the screen—hair messy, room dark except for the glow of his phone. He looked wrecked already.

“Hi, princess,” he rasped.

“Hi,” I whispered.

He exhaled shakily. “You have no idea what that picture did to me.”

I bit my lip. “Show me?”

He smirked, tilted the phone down just enough. His sweatpants were pushed low, hand wrapped around—

“Oh my god,” I breathed.

He groaned, low and filthy. “This what you wanted to see?”

I nodded, speechless.

His strokes were slow, deliberate, eyes locked on me.

“Tell me what you’re wearing again,” he said, voice rough.

“Your hoodie… and the cherry shorts.”

“Take the hoodie off.”

I hesitated half a second, then pulled it over my head. Just a thin white cami underneath, no bra.

Knox cursed under his breath. “Fuck, Yael.”

I laughed nervously. “You okay over there?”

“No,” he growled. “I’m so fucking hard because of you.”

My thighs squeezed together again. “Are you—” I swallowed. “Are you touching yourself because of me?”

He let out a ragged laugh. “What does it look like?”

I watched his hand move, the way his stomach tensed, the soft groans he couldn’t hold back.

“It’s hot,” I admitted, voice small.

“Yeah?” His eyes darkened. “You like knowing you do this to me?”

I nodded.

“Say it.”

“I like knowing I make you feel like that.”

He groaned louder, head falling back. “Touch yourself for me, baby. Please.”

I slipped my hand into my shorts without even thinking.

The second my fingers found how soaked I was, I gasped.

Knox’s eyes snapped open. “That sound—fuck—do it again.”

I circled slowly, watching him watch me.

“You’re so pretty,” he rasped. “Wanted to do this in the car. Wanted to push those little shorts aside and taste you right there.”

I moaned, hips lifting.

“Knox—”

“Say my name again.”

“Knox,” I whimpered, fingers moving faster.

“That’s it. Good girl. Imagine it’s my tongue.”

I was gone. Completely lost in the way he was looking at me, the sounds he was making, the fact that my brother’s rival—my secret boyfriend—was falling apart because of me.

“I’m close,” I gasped.

“Me too,” he panted. “Come with me, princess.”

One more stroke and I shattered, crying out his name.

He followed seconds later, groaning mine like a prayer, entire body shaking.

We just breathed for a minute, staring at each other through the phone, flushed and wrecked.

Eventually he laughed, soft and fond. “You okay?”

I pulled the hoodie back on, burrowed into it. “I’m… great. Actually.”

He smiled, lazy and satisfied. “Good. Because we’re doing that again tomorrow.”

I squeaked. “Knox!”

“Night, girlfriend.”

I grinned so wide my cheeks hurt.

“Night, boyfriend.”
