Chapter 127
Chapter 127
Chapter Title: The Unbelievable Truth
The Charade
Kathy
It was always about killing Divine.
The black bikini I wore was new. So was the dirty-blonde hair falling straight down my back—and the name I was using now.
The woman I had been—the kidnapped FBI agent, the victim with the ligature marks and gunshot wound—had vanished with the blood, the bullets, and the Williamson estate.
I stood on the balcony of my suite overlooking the beach, a champagne glass cold against my palm. I took a slow sip as the waves rolled toward the shore.
The news still called the Williamson case an active investigation.
The FBI had one theory. Local police had another.
But everyone agreed on the same convenient lie:
I had been a victim.
That was the beautiful part.
The staged abduction. The bruises that looked exactly right. The fear that was real enough to photograph.
Reynolds and Tate had come closer than I expected. They even questioned why Kimberly's disappearance never quite added up.
But they never asked the only question that mattered...
Whether the woman they had been working with was part of the elaborate scheme.
People see what they want to see.
I had a badge. I had worked my way up to become a special agent with the FBI.
What they didn't see was the broken sister.
The one who spent years trying to figure out what happened to her baby sister. The one who kept chasing a ghost. The one who blamed herself for not saving her.
I leaned forward against the railing and closed my eyes, letting the sun warm my face.
The truth always finds a way to catch up with you, no matter how many years you bury it. That was exactly what happened when Hank crossed paths with Kimberly.
It started when Hank decided to visit Martha's Cheesecake Spot on the twins' birthday. Kimberly had decided to celebrate there too.
When she walked through the door, Hank thought she was Kelly.
He confronted her immediately, demanding to know why she had left him. He told her he had been ready to propose. He was even prepared to walk away from his inheritance for her.
He never gave Kimberly a chance to explain.
"I've always loved you. I still love you," he said tearfully. "And I'm a different man now. You and I... we can be together."
He grabbed her hands.
"Please, Kelly. Please give us another chance."
Kimberly stared at him, equal parts shock, disgust, and rage.
Standing before her was the man we'd been looking for. The father of Kelly's unborn child.
He was dressed in an expensive suit, a Patek Philippe on his wrist and Tom Ford leather shoes on his feet. Blonde. Handsome. Wealthy.
And completely unaware that he was standing in front of the wrong woman.
"You've mistaken me for someone else," Kimberly said coldly.
"Kelly, it's me. Hank." Confusion clouded his face. "Don't you remember our time together at NYU?"
The server behind the counter suddenly spoke.
"Kimberly, it's been a while. Your usual?"
Kimberly yanked her hands away and held them up.
Hank froze. His eyes moved to her wrists.
"No birthmark," he whispered. "You aren't Kelly."
"I'm her twin sister, Hank," Kimberly hissed. She grabbed his arm before he could pull away. "Don't move. You and I... we need to talk."
And then Kimberly told him the truth: Kelly was gone.
She had been found along a riverbank completely naked, her head shaved and her body bleached.
Hank recognized the horrific, sadistic signature immediately.
He went hunting for answers. He questioned Emma and Cole until they finally broke. And when they spilled the truth, two names surfaced from the filth.
Allison and Benny.
But they weren't working alone. Divine was pulling the strings from her gilded throne.
Hank wanted a reckoning, and so did Kimberly.
But a quick bullet in a dark alley is a mercy.
True revenge requires time to mature.
The Long Game
We spent three agonizing years plotting in the shadows.
Hank arranged the surgery, the fundraiser introduction, and the slow, careful fall into a relationship Divine would never suspect.
He hadn't wanted Kimberly to change her face. Kelly's face was the one he had loved. But walking into Divine's world wearing that face would have put her on guard.
So Kimberly became someone else.
In Crisfield, she swallowed every insult, every casual cruelty, and played the perfect fiancée.
She smiled when Divine tested her. She stayed quiet when Divine humiliated her. She played the part so convincingly that even Divine never realized the woman standing beside her was the twin sister of the woman she'd helped destroy.
Meanwhile, I hunted the elusive Calderón.
Word eventually reached me that Calderón frequented an incredibly exclusive club hidden in the belly of New York. When the establishment put out a discreet call for new hostesses, I seized the opening.
I remember the heavy atmosphere of that venue—the dim neon lights, the expensive perfume, the low murmur of the city's elite. We were positioned like merchandise for their amusement. One by one, the clients made their selections.
Eventually, I found myself alone with a silhouette seated motionless on a long leather couch in a dark corner.
Calderón always demanded the entire VIP suite to himself.
"Come here," he commanded as the lights dimmed.
I walked to him slowly until I stood between his knees.
“Kneel,” he ordered, already unzipping.
I didn’t.
He reached for me, expecting obedience.
Instead, I twisted free, shifted my weight, and used his momentum against him. Within seconds, the man who had expected complete control was on the floor, disoriented and staring up at me.
The silence that followed was almost amusing.
I stepped over him, put one heel on the couch, and hiked my dress.
“Lick.”
He hesitated. I slapped him across the face hard enough to turn his head.
“Lick.”
This time, he obeyed.
That was the moment the balance of power changed.
Calderón had walked into that room expecting another woman he could command. Instead, he found someone who understood exactly how to make him obey.
That was when Calderón became my submissive.
He leaned in. His tongue dragged up the inside of my thigh, wet and reluctant at first. When he reached the lace he caught it with his teeth and pulled it aside. Then he put his mouth on my cunt.
I held his head there.
He licked through my slit, slow and shallow until I tightened my fingers in his hair and forced him deeper. His tongue pushed inside me, then flattened against my clit. I rolled my hips against his face and made him stay. Saliva and my wetness ran down his chin. He breathed against me in short, broken bursts, nose pressed to my skin, tongue working because I wouldn’t let him stop.
My thighs started to shake. I kept him there until I came on his tongue, grinding through it, using his mouth. When I finally let him pull back he was panting against my cunt like it owned him.
It was too dark to see his face clearly until I ordered him to undress me and bathe me. Under the bathroom lights I finally saw who he was.
Senator Henry Williamson II.
I couldn’t hand him to my handlers at the Bureau. He was far too valuable. I needed his network to finish the puzzle.
Because he couldn't risk being seen with me in public, I used his resources to engineer an "accidental" encounter with Divine's head of security, Ace Ryder, during a high-stakes sailing competition in Virginia.
Ace didn't arrive alone. Archer, his older brother was with him.
They were easy to seduce.
I only needed them to see me as available. Sun on skin. A dress that looked accidental. A touch that lingered half a second too long.
Reluctance came first. Brothers don’t usually share, and Ace especially didn’t like being led.
That lasted until I had them both in my hotel room, drunk, after we had celebrated their win. Door locked. City lights cutting across the bed, I made sure they would never regret being with me.
Archer took me from behind.
He shoved my dress up, yanked my underwear aside, and pushed into me in one hard thrust. I was already wet from the way we had been flirting all afternoon. He filled me deep, hips slamming against my ass, one hand fisted in my hair and the other gripping my hip hard enough to bruise. Every thrust shoved me forward onto Ace.
Ace stood in front of me, cock already out, thick and flushed. I opened my mouth and took him. He held my jaw and fed it to me until I gagged. I sucked him while his brother fucked me, spit running down my chin, my throat working around him every time Archer drove in.
Archer’s rhythm turned brutal. He reached around and rubbed my clit with two fingers, wet and rough, until my legs started shaking. Ace fucked my mouth in short, deep strokes, groaning every time I swallowed around him.
I came first, clenching around Archer, moaning on Ace’s cock. Archer followed with a curse, burying himself and coming inside me. Ace lasted another few seconds, then held my head and came down my throat. I swallowed all of it.
Then I introduced them to double penetration.
After that they stopped pretending they were in control.
There was another incentive, of course. Every property Divine had that was once in their father’s name would pass to them. I made sure they understood I could help that happen—or make sure it never did.
The Cleanup
Allison and Benny were easy targets. But Divine was different.
She was protected, powerful, and smart. One wrong move, and she would become suspicious.
So we needed to mislead her. Misdirect her. Make it look like there was a serial killer. Make it seem someone was after Benny instead of her. Make it appear as though we had accidentally stumbled upon the scam hub. Make it look like I had finally found a connection to an old case.
We were doing a great job. Everything was going according to plan.
Until I met Gray in Pocomoke. I never expected an undercover agent to be part of Benny's crew.
Gray knew things. He knew about the girls, which meant he had been following Henry.
I wanted to kill Henry when I found out.
I explicitly told him to have Lester “The Razor” take care of the girls.
Henry barely reacted.
He said he just wanted to have some fun. That old habits die hard.
I warned him that an undercover FBI agent had probably photographed him. If those photographs surfaced, his entire world could come crashing down.
He simply looked at me and said he would deal with it.
That was Henry's answer to everything.
He always believed there was a way to make a problem disappear.
So Henry went to Benny and offered him complete authority over Maryland. Benny agreed, giving him all the evidence.
But Henry threw one picture back at Benny—the one with Marissa Vega. It was meant to discredit Gray.
Henry insisted he had nothing to do with her disappearance and claimed the picture had been taken at one of his past campaigns.
All I knew was that Marissa had been hired to scout the clinic and check whether they had any cameras.
It was a shock to find out she was pregnant. It was an even bigger shock when I saw the R. Ryder name on her patient file.
I already knew who the father was.
Archer.
No wonder he had been so cruel to Allison.
When I saw the mattress on the longliner, I knew something was wrong. He had left her chained to a filthy mattress, naked, lying in her own piss and feces.
And he had killed all our loose ends without a second thought.
But now I understood why he was so angry.
It was only a matter of time before Archer demanded the truth and exacted his revenge.
I had a feeling it would come after Divine was dead. And I was right.
A server at Henry's party slipped a message onto Divine's lap before the lights dimmed, instructing her to go to the stables alone or Hank would die.
She obeyed. She loved Hank. He was her pride and joy.
And, as expected, she came armed.
She just didn't expect her son to be in on it—or that this was mostly about Kelly. That Kimberly and I were her sisters.
"I will not let three whores ruin my family!" she yelled before firing at us.
She was a bad shot.
Then a third shot echoed through the night, and Divine crumpled to the ground.
Archer had killed her.
But instead of lowering the gun, Archer turned it on us.
"Which one of you killed my baby?" he demanded.
Hank confessed.
Archer seducing Allison had been part of the plan, and Hank had known about it.
But when Hank discovered that Archer was seeing Marissa—and that their relationship was becoming serious—he told Allison.
He couldn't risk Archer growing a conscience.
He also knew Allison couldn't bear the thought of losing Archer.
He knew she'd get rid of Marissa.
"You told that crazy bitch about Marissa?" Archer snarled, his gun trained on Hank. "You son of a—"
He never finished. Hank shot him.
Honestly, I didn't want to kill Ace. But he shot my sister.
And some things... can't be forgiven.
With Divine and the Ryder brothers finally gone, I was left with one other problem.
Gray.
Henry had his men break into Gray's apartment and take all his gadgets after Rat gave me Gray's address. Reynolds had left us in the car to get sandwiches, and those several minutes were all I needed.
But that wasn't enough. Gray had to disappear.
I knew Gray would head back to Crisfield. People like him were predictable. And he did.
The Twin Blades followed him back to Baltimore. They kept him in a warehouse and tortured him for information—his handlers, his co-workers, and everything he knew about the boss.
When they were finished, they dumped his corpse in an abandoned lot.
Then they went after everyone Gray had named.
Agent Miller was forced to call Reynolds and he died right after he hung up.
“Kathy.”
Henry’s voice came from behind me. I turned. He stood in a towel, smiling.
“I just got a call from Razor,” he said. “It’s done. They’re closing the investigation. Hank called too. They’re loving Spain.”
I walked toward him and kissed him.
“My name isn’t Kathy,” I whispered. “It’s Katy. Katy Hart.” I nodded toward the hall. “Come. I have a surprise for you.”
I led him into the playroom. A woman was chained to the bed. I settled into the chair beside her and crossed my legs.
Henry looked at me.
“Ready?” I smiled. “Begin.”
He picked up the whip.
I watched him obey.
For years, Divine had controlled everyone around her. She had money, power, fear, and people willing to kill for her.
Now she was gone.
The investigation was closed.
The men who could expose me were dead.
And Henry Williamson was standing in my playroom, waiting for my next command.
Divine no longer had control.
I did.
