Chapter 83

Tobias’ POV

Dad chewed out Alex, Olivia and I last night for the amount of laughing we did at his expense. It only made us laugh harder; which he didn’t appreciate. “What’s the plan so far, Dad?” I ask him in our living area. “We won’t know until we talk with everyone” he answers.

“You’re still dead” Pedro says looking at Alex. We all look at him; stunned. “What?” Olivia asks; stunned. “Alex; he’s still dead. Jeremy hasn’t told them you aren’t. And Jada mustn’t know; otherwise, Sharon would have told them” he explains.

A smirk comes across Alex’s face; “What do you know? I’m dead again” he laughs.

“I was thinking that could be a way of getting around the cameras. Most of the guards are suppositious. If they see two dead people walking around, they will turn off the cameras” he chuckles. “How will we know the cameras are turned off?” I ask him. “They will leave the tunnel” he answers as though I should know this fact.

“We should get to the common room” Jessica tells everyone; heading to her room.

We walk out into the hallway; “Dead wolf walking” Alex calls out. “Make way for the zombies” Pedro joins in. Alex sneaks up behind Renee; “Boo” “I can smell you coming” she laughs at him.

“What’s that all about?” Harvey asks Jessica. “Alex has just found out, he’s still dead” she answers, rolling her eyes.

“Dad; do you want to put the spells on the room?” Dad asks Granddad. “If you can give us an extra minute; Olivia would like to come around with Gerry and I. I will show you what to do” he says. “Can I come with you both, too?” Hendrix asks. “Fine by me” Gerald says. “Hendrix is really liking the guidance of Gerry; I think he may visit White Coven more often” Alex says to me.

“Yes” I answer; watching Olivia go around the room with granddad; **“She’s excited to try the spells”** I say to Tyler. **“Yes; she’s like a giddy, school girl. I want to see more of that later” “Thanks Ty; how am I supposed to concentrate with that vision in my mind”** I snort at him. **“You’re welcome. That’s one of many fantasies”** he smiles and scurries to the back of my mind.

“We’re done” Hendrix exclaims proudly.

“To start with; if you haven’t already noticed, Pedro has told Alex; he is still dead” Dad explains to everyone. “Is that why he is coming up behind people, yelling Boo?” Renee asks and Dad puts his hand on his forehead; shaking his head.

“We have a strategy to get around the cameras; Pedro and I are going to scare the guards; wooohoooo” Alex says. “Now you’re just getting annoying” Jessica huffs, “you love sleeping with a dead wolf” he chants back. “You will be a dead wolf, if you don’t stop” Olivia chimes in. “I’m dealing with imbeciles” I say, shaking my head.

“We will have Sapphire Moon and Turquoise Moon with myself and Reggie come in from the north. I spoke to Darius; he assures me; Jada will no longer be sending messages to her cousin; at least none that will jeopardise the attack.” Bronson announces; trying to move on. “The rest will be coming in the south entrance. We will split into two; some going in through the left entrance and some going in through the right” Seth includes.

“Pedro; are you certain the moment we attack from the south; the guards at the northern points will leave to help defend the territory” Master Tom asks. “No” he answers. “I beg your pardon?” Tom asks with annoyance in his voice. “I’m not certain. They are supposed to; but doesn’t mean they will” Pedro responds. Alex, Tim, Seth and myself start to laugh. “Jeremy said you were blunt” Seth chuckles.

“When we get inside; we will fight in Lycan form; or equivalent, we know Jeremy has been teaching the Maple Clan; the right way to fight in this form” Dad tells everyone. “We will go into the compound; Pedro and Alex will follow in behind us and get the ladies” Master Leonard continues.

“Can I do something?” Steven asks. “You will join me in the north; as a fighter. I have to protect my granddaughter’s father” Bronson says. Steven looked shocked at Bronson’s statement. **“I wonder what that is about?”** I ask Tyler **“We’ll have to find out another time.”**

“Can I come too, Dad? Zuri and Mason want to help with the fight” Bea asks. “As long it is ok with Doctor Bushell; yes” he replies.

“Olivia, Hendrix; you will be at the rear of the fighting. When it’s time; we will get you to come forward and destroy the compound” Elder Matthews advises. “What do you mean; destroy the compound?” Silias asks. He looks nervous again; why doesn’t he want the compound destroyed? I open up a link to notify everyone in the room *“Don’t tell him; pass onto leaders.”* *“It means; Olivia and Hendrix have the task to blow up the drugs at the end of the fight; which are located in the compound. Did you get the explosives ready for them Master Joe?”* Brian states. “Ready and waiting; they are in my room” he tells everyone. *“Alister, Andre, Christian; go wait in Master Joe’s room. Someone may be going to search it”* Olivia links.

*“Gerry wants to know why you want to keep their ability a secret”* Dante asks through the full mind link; *“There is something in his eyes regarding the question. He’s curious to know what we have in store and it’s not just regarding the fight. He is keeping something from us”* Alex answers. *“Damn Alpha’s, you can’t get away with shit”* Kingsley chuckles.

“We should meet here tomorrow morning; 5am. Be ready to go to the fight” Dad says smirking at Alex and I. “Ugh; why do fights always have to be so early?” Alex grunts.

“Silias, Hendrix; Toby, Tim and Alex are you able to stay behind for a few minutes please?” Seth asks me.

*“We have the Sapphire Moon Gamma; what do you want me to do with him?”* Christian links *“Levi; tell Seth, we have Sapphire Moon Gamma. Christian, bring him down here and wait for instruction to bring him in”* Alex links back.

We wait for the everyone else to leave the room; “Silias, Hendrix; tomorrow is going to be full on; I am giving you both the opportunity to pull out now; no questions asked” Seth tells them. “I’ll be with you till the end” Hendrix answers, Silias shuffles on the spot. “Is there something wrong, Silias?” Tim asks. “No; nothing, just pre-war jitters, I guess” he replies. “What aren’t you telling us?” Alex demands. “What do you mean? I’m here helping you” Silias says; raising his voice.

*“Bring him in”* I link. Christian, Levi, Andre and Alister walk in holding the Sapphire Moon Gamma. “Helping? Then what was you Gamma searching for in Dad’s room?” I seethe at him. Silias’ face drops; “Carter sent some cronies to the Sapphire Moon territory. They took my 15-year-old daughter as hostage and told my mate I had to sabotage the fight” he answers. I look at him; the despair in his eyes is frightening.

“You can let the Gamma go” Alex says to Christian. “Silias, next time the bad guys do something stupid; talk to us first. We can help” Tim chuckles. “Sometimes” Alex adds. “Andre, can you ask Pedro to come back please?” I request. “Your Alpha abilities are running hot today” Andre snickers as he leaves the room.

We wait for Pedro to come back; “you wanted me?” he asks walking in. “Pedro; was there a 15-year-old girl bought into the Maple Clan territory?” I ask him. “Yeah; a few days before I was thrown out of the car. Jeremy got the guards to place her with your ladies. She was safe when I left” he answers. “How did Jeremy get them to place her with Mum?” Tim asks. “He’s a Master Trainer now; he says jump, the guards say; how high” he answers.

“Problem solved; I’ll get her the same time, I get mum” Alex says. “Not problem solved; what about the sabotage? He will be expecting Silias to do something. He may have the girl and your mothers as hostages. We will have to have a plan for every scenario that may occur” Seth asks. “I can message Jeremy if you want?” Pedro asks.

“You are just telling us now; you can get hold of him?” Tim asked, disgusted. “Yeah; it was a last resort option. I have one of your burner phones and put another burner’s phone number in it. I am to message Jeremy to call us if we need him for anything. This is anything” he replies.

“Just message him” I sneer at him as he pulls out a phone and messages Jeremy.

It only took 2 seconds before the phone rang. “Hello” Pedro says. “Hang on; you’re on speaker.” “Hello” Mum says over the phone.

“Mum?” Tim answers. “Timmy or Toby? I can’t tell over the phone unless I have your number in front of me.” “We are both here, Mum” Tim says to her.

“Is Joanna there with you?” Silias says. “Dad?” a young voice comes over the receiver. “She is safe here, Jo’s Dad” Leanne says; “Jeremy gave us this phone and told us to answer it if anyone calls. They can’t get in here and we have been told not to let anyone under any circumstances; except you, when you come. Not even Jeremy” Cynthia adds.

“We are coming tomorrow; sit tight honey. What’s your mum’s name Tim?” “Yvette or there is Toby’s mother-in-law Gilda, or Alex’s mum, Leanne and mother-in-law, Cynthia and our head doc; Sophia” he answers. “Listen to all of them; Joanna. I will see you tomorrow and ladies; take care of her; please” Silias says.

“I love you Mum and Mum” Alex says. “Who are you? And what have you done with Alex?” Leanne laughs. “I love you too; sweetheart” she adds. “And I do too” Cynthia answers.

“We all love you; yeah, yeah” Joanna says laughing. “I love you too, honey” Silias says back to her.

The phone goes dead; Seth, Silias, Hendrix and Pedro have tears in their eyes. “I have something in my eye” Pedro says and we all start laughing at him; “I told you; problem solved” Alex chuckles. “Come on; we have a fight to win” Seth says.

“Are you going to tell me the truth, what Oliva and you can do?” Silias asks walking out the door. “You will have to wait and see” Hendrix answers.
