Chapter 73
Samantha’s POV
After the meeting yesterday; Bea came to see Renee and I in my room. Her and Zuri had a proposal if they couldn’t get any more information from the Clan members at Steven’s Bar.
“What are you proposing?” Renee asks her with a smile. “We have been off the drugs for three weeks now and the side effects are starting to subside a bit. Zuri says she understands why we are doing what we are doing and why I won’t uncage her just yet” she says. “Yes; I’m happy she sees we are trying to help, but that is not a proposal” I mention.
“No” she says fidgeting with her nails. “It’s ok Bea” Renee encourages; “I was going to say; I have been to the Maple Clan territory before; or Zuri has. When she was coming down off the drugs; some of the drug dealers would offer them to unmated shifters, for their own special purposes. As Terry and I never mark one another, Zuri did some things; I would never do. She always pushed me out and barricaded me when she did them” she tells us.
“And does Zuri know where they may be holding Leanne, Cynthia, Sophia, Gilda and Yvette?” I ask her. “No, but she knows how to get into the territory undetected. It’s what the dealers use to do to sneak them in. There is a tunnel on the outskirts they used to get inside the grounds. It is guarded with only one guard, but an odd blow job got us past them. There is one problem though; one guard is gay and would only let males give him one. If he’s on; we won’t be getting past” she tells us.
“Why didn’t you tell us in the meeting?” I ask her. “Because Greg was there with that snotty little shit. I don’t trust him or her; not to tell that slut of a mate of his” she snarls.
“Do you know how to get to this tunnel?” Renee questions; keeping her tone calm. “No; Zuri does. This is my proposal; if we can’t get the information from Steven, Zuri says she can take us there. She would like to be let free to help.”
“I don’t know if that is a good idea, Bea. If we let her out; we may not see you or her again” I tell her. “That’s a price we are both willing to pay to help get the ladies back” she huffs. “We can’t make the decision alone. We will need to talk it through with the other leaders” Renee says putting a hand on her arm. Bea gives us a half smile and heads to the door; “Bea; I will talk with the leaders and try to convince them to let you and Zuri help” I smile at her.
She gives me a smile back and walks out the door.
“What do you think?” I ask Renee; she sighs “I don’t know. On the one hand; it’s a way in. On the other; it could be a way for Zuri to get away from her confines and take off again. It comes down to should we trust her?” “That’s my thought and the next question and I don’t like it. Who is more important the ladies or my sister? It puts me in a difficult spot because both choices are important to me” I tell her.
“And as your best friend, I will be honest with you. Majority of the leaders will vote for the ladies; myself included. I am certain; Toby, Tim, Alex and Harry will be voting that way” she tells me. She didn’t have to; I already knew the answer to the proposal. I sigh and give her a smile; “I already know the outcome. We will have to tell the others tomorrow.”

Tobias’ POV
Another meeting; I want us to go and get our mothers back. No more discussions. **“We need to have a strategy, Toby. We can’t just waltz in there and demand, they hand them over”** Tyler growls at me. **“I know; but the longer Mum and the others are in there, the more annoyed I am getting”** I say back to him.
“Before we start the meeting; there is something I would like to propose” Samantha says smiling at Beatrice. “Yesterday after the meeting; Bea came to our room. Zuri has told her about a tunnel the drug dealers used to sneak unmated addicts in for sexual favours. The tunnel is guarded by one guard only. To get past them; they used to give them a blow job” she says, going bright red.
“We can get in through this tunnel; but to get there, we will need to release Zuri from her confines to take us there” Renee continues.
“I know if we put it to a vote; we will be in favour of doing that. I am going to ask though; please bear in mind Zuri is not fully in control of her addiction and I want to keep her and Bea safe at the same time” Sam finishes.
“We are willing to do this to help get your mothers and friends back. If Zuri goes backwards; that is a price I am willing to pay to help Dr Spencer” Beatrice adds to the conversation.
“Can Zuri take a few of us to the tunnel to scope out; see who comes in and who goes out; when the guards change. We can strategize the best plan of attack from there?” Dad asks us. “Dad; we need to get Mum back” Olivia scoffs at him. “I want to do that as much as you. Unlike the other four ladies; I can still feel her connection. She is not hurt and not dead. I can only assume the others are the same. They want Doc and Cynthia for some reason and as none of the ladies are telling them who is who, according to Steven yesterday; they won’t hurt them to find out. We need to be prepared” he smiles at her.
“That is the best course of action. Joe, do we have some of the Don’t Touch my Wolfy serum” Seth laughs looking at Toby and Alex. “Yes; Tom, Liz and Leonard; you will be with me to sus out, this tunnel. I would also like four enforcers to come with us; we can choose one each, from your packs” he concludes.
“We have a start; while we wait, we can gather our reinforcements. How did you go with getting other Clans to come on board?” Brian asks. “The other prides, clans and packs in the area are all on board. They also said they will help with accommodation” Bronson tells everyone. “Sapphire Moon Pack said they were happy to help” Tim chimes in. “Same with Shining Pride. They said they moved territories to get away from Maple Clan, due to a bad business deal they did with them. They are happy to help” Rami said. “Dad and some witches and warlocks are on their way here now from the Light Coven” Dad says.
“Ok; those that need to; talk to your enforcers to go along with Tom, Liz, Joe and Leo. The rest; we wait for them to come back and we can go from there” Seth concludes. I look at Alex; “Jeremy?” I say to him. “Yep; he asked the other day, if he could see some more action” he says to me.
