Chapter 51
Alex’s POV
“It’s your turn” I tell Jessi giving her a kiss. “It’s only my turn because you don’t want to get out of bed” she fumes; going over to Laurie and picking him up out of his crib. She changes his diaper and places him between us in the bed.
“I’m going to have to teach him 5am is too early to wake up” I say putting my arm around both of them. “Oww; and my hair is off limits” I grab his little hand and try to loosen his grip around the chunk of hair he is pulling.”
She smirks at me “he has your grip.” Laurence has Jessi’s blonde hair and blue eyes; and my mouth and nose. “Did you give Riley the morning off” I ask, heading to the bathroom. “Yes; I put you down as concierge, why are we giving him the morning off?”
I don’t answer her. **“Because Alex wants the Goss, when Mr and Mrs Watson show up. He’s worse than a female”** Jonas tells her **“Hey!”** Jessi retorts. **“I might put myself on the front desk and give Sarah the morning off too”** she tells me, when I come out of the bathroom and lay back on the bed. **“You are both as bad as one another”** Celeste yawns. **“Aren’t you two the least bit curious about Sam’s parents coming?”** I ask Jonas and Celeste. **“No”** they say in unison; their actions over the last few days have said otherwise.
I’m not sure if it’s because we heard about the drug problem or they are curious like the rest of us to meet them. Samantha keeps her personal life, to herself. There are only a few of us knows why she is here and myself, Toby, Tim and Rami aren’t among them. **“Are they the only ones you’ve asked?”** Celeste snorted; I glare at her in my mind.
“I can’t imagine what Mr and Mrs Watson, is going through with their daughter on drugs” I say to Jessica. I have only seen what was on television or in the movies about drugs. It’s not something I would think about doing; I don’t know many wolves who would. I don't even drink alcohol; the taste and smell turns me off.
I stare at Jessica; playing with Laurence; I am so lucky to have such a beautiful mate and a perfect son. “He’s perfect when he doesn’t pull my hair; Laurie, leave my hair alone” I tell him sternly; unlocking his grip again. “You could always cut it” Jessi states, “I thought you liked my hair long?” “I do, but if you are going to complain every time Laurie grabs at it, then you are better off cutting it short.” That isn’t going to happen.
“We better have a shower, Laurie. Nanny Cyndy will be here soon, to pick you up for nursery” she says in a playful voice. She picks him up and heads to the bathroom.
……….
We get to the hotel; I’m dressed in a concierge suit; Eden, Olivia and Jessi are in front desk uniforms; Toby and Tim are dressed in bell boy uniforms; Rami is on the front door in a doorman’s suit attire and Cam and Harry are at the front in Valet uniforms. The omegas are sitting on the sofa in the foyer; laughing at their leaders doing their work.
Samantha, Raoul, Renee and Romeo come into the foyer with their four children. “What the hell, you lot?” she frowns at us. I smirk, “It’s not often we get VIP guests show up, Samantha.” She shakes her head and looks over at Tim and Toby in their matching bell boy uniform and starts laughing at the identical figures looking gleefully at her.
"Do they want to meet grandpa and grandma too?" Dominique asks Sam; "Unfortunately; yes, little kitten" she answers, as a car pulls up at the front of the hotel and Mr and Mrs Watson step out. Mrs Watson has strawberry blonde hair like Samantha; but Sam looks more like her father’ with his hazel eyes and tanned skin. “I know what’s in my car young man, I’ll be checking it later” Mr Watson says to Cameron handing him the keys. Samantha laughs at Cam’s look of horror, at the accusation.
“Mr and Mrs Watson, welcome to the Leaders Retreat Hotel” Rami bows and opens up the door for them to come in. “Thank you, son” Mr Watson hands Rami a $10 bill. Rami looks at it and shrugs, putting the money in his pocket. “Ramirez Garcia, give that back to Dad” Samantha yells. “They need to earn a living too, Samantha.” We all laugh as Rami drops his head and hands the money back.
“Let me introduce myself, I am Ramirez Garcia, Leader of the Bronze Clan” he bows again. “Can you not get workers to do the door of the hotel?” Mrs Watson questions. “Let us take your bags to your room Mr and Mrs Watson” Tim says to them. Mr Watson narrows his eyes at the twins, figuring out what is going on. “Which one of you is Tobias and which is Timothy?” he asks, as the two men give him a look of innocence.
“To be honest dad, I couldn’t tell you in that get up. Liv?” Olivia comes over and sniffs both of them, planting a kiss on, the twin on the left. “That one’s Toby” Samantha concludes.
“And the look the valet gave me, who is he?” “Alpha Cameron Edwards, Yellow Moon Pack” “Are all the leaders here, working the hotel today?” Mrs Watson asks. “Not all, I’m Alpha Renee Whitehead of the Red Moon Pack and this is my mate Romeo, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you” Renee chimes.
“Here is your passkey Mr Watson, you will be staying on the top floor in the presidential suite” Jessica smiles giving him the credit card size plastic door key. “You must be Jessica; call me Bronson” he smiled back at her. “I’ll show you to your room” I pipe in. Tim and Toby put their bags on the trolley and we all head to the elevator.
“Are you really the concierge?” Judy asked me. “That’s Alpha Alex, Grandma” Samar chortled; Judy and Bronson started laughing. “I can see you have a lot of friends here, Sammy” Judy says, “it’s nice to have all these leaders wanting to meet us” Bronson adds.
“They could have waited for the leaders meeting” Samantha huffed, “Then I wouldn’t have met them in a less formal setting” Bronson tells her; as we step out of the elevator and head towards the presidential suite.
“Raoul, how’s your father?” Judy asks. “He’s good; he was going to come up this morning but, decided he would let you settle in, after your long drive.” “I can’t say the same for some others” Samantha glares at myself, Tim and Toby. “Here we are; Riley will be taking over from me shortly. If there is anything you need, don’t hesitate to give him a call” I tell them; Tim and Toby take their luggage off the trolley and the three of us leave the room.
“That was fun; should I tell Liv she got it wrong” Tim says. “Don’t you dare; last time you did that to her; when I finally convinced her, you were joking, she didn't speak to us for a week” Tobias laughs.
We hit the down button on the elevators; “Looks as though Sam has told her parents about us” I exclaim; “Yeah, don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing” Tim concludes. “I’m going to go with, good” Toby injects “I agree; how can knowing us be a bad thing” I smirk.
