Chapter 25

Jonathon’s POV (2 Days later)

I did get the phone numbers of Leader Ramirez and Alpha Timothy from Alex and called to set up a meeting with each of them at their houses. Ramirez flatly refused; he’s exact words were “not fucking happening.”

Alpha Timothy was more understanding and made the appointment for this morning.

Cathy and Debbie decided to take Olivia and Jessica for a ‘me day’; as they called it. Between training with Master Joe and the Ceremony planning, “You need timeout for yourself” Debbie chortled. The White Coven only has 150 members. They converted the first 4 floors of their house into a shopping mall. They took them for a day of shopping and pampering.

Due to the sensitivity of the meeting; Alex and myself decided it was best we go together.

I'm not sure what it is, but I get the feeling Alex is withholding something. **“He is definitely holding back; I’ve had a strange feeling since the leaders meeting”** Tyler tells me. **“Me too. I thought it might be nerves; due to Timothy also being on the receiving end of one of Dad's attacks. It's not that; it’s something else. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is.”** **“Whatever it is, I am on standby in case you need me.”**

I get to the Grey Pack’s building; Alex is waiting out the front of the double doors. “Ready?” he asks me. “As I’ll ever be” I answer and we head into the building.

I’m amazed how similar it is to the Gold Pack’s building. Their kitchen and dining area are to the left, elevators and common room to the right. And like Alex said, all the skirting and trimmings are painted Grey. We head to the Elevators and push the up button. “You look nervous” Alex says. “Do I?” I whisper rocking back and forth on my heels. We get to the top floor and knock-on Alpha Timothy’s office door.

“Come in” we hear a voice call out. I open the door; sitting at the desk is, Gamma Shaun?

Shit! Dad knows where we are. “What the fuck are you doing here?” Tyler yells pushing me back into my mind. I hear Shaun; “Whoa! Tyler, settle down, I can explain.” “Explain fast before I come out and rip your head off” he screams back at him.

Alex puts a hand on my shoulder, “Ty, we need to talk to Jonny. It’s a very, very long story. Gamma Shaun needs to explain from the beginning but I need you to trust me, he will be safe.” Tyler growls “One sign of trouble and I will be on you two quicker than you can say Spaghetti Bolognese.”

Tyler goes back into my mind, staying close. “Can someone tell me what the fuck is going on?” Shaun points to a chair, “Please sit down.” I hesitate a moment; then sit down. I'm still on high alert.

“Do you remember me telling you about Alpha Jaxon?” I nod. When I don’t say anything, he continues.

“Alpha Jaxon was mated to Yvette Connors. They had two children.” “I remember; what does this have to do with me?” I ask impatiently. “Let me finish; as I was saying; when Jaxon was killed, Yvette was still pregnant. Your parents locked her in the dungeon until she had the pups. What they didn’t know; there were two babies.”

I still don’t know what that has to do with me. “What are you trying to say?” I query, trying to understand what is being said. “They had two children, identical twin boys; Timothy and Tobias.”

“Alpha Timothy?” I whisper. “That’s correct” Alex says.

Shaun proceeds. “Yvette Connors,” I interrupt him “Connors? Is she your sister?” He chuckles, “Yes, I was about to say, Yvette Connors is my sister. Your parents couldn’t have children, my theory is Goddess Selene punished them for the atrocities Sebastian and Aubrey committed before they became Alpha and Luna. They held her hostage until the baby was born and took the child, ordered me to kill her and left the dungeons.”

He pauses for a moment. Is he saying what I think he’s saying?

“Jonny; Vette was still in labour with Timothy. I delivered the second child and took them to the pack members who left when Sebastian killed Jaxon. She begged me to stay at Emerald Moon to keep an eye on you. Her clothes had blood on them from the births; I took them back to Sebastian and Aubrey as proof and told them she had been disposed of. Because they thought I had killed my only sister for them; they promoted me to Gamma.”

What the fuck? I stare at Shaun; Is he telling me Mum and Dad aren't Mum and Dad?

“Did you ever wonder why; I would be interested in your day? Why I would never be a part of the torment of you; Olivia or Jessica? Or why I helped you leave the pack grounds?” Goddess that is what he's telling me. Holy Shit!

“Who else knows what happened?” I asked. “Except the few people in this room, your real mother and brother. No-one” Alex tells me.

That explains why everyone thought it uncanny; I looked like Timothy. I think for a minute; trying to process the information he's telling me. “Why are you here now?” I ask Shaun. “I think you should meet a few people before we answer that question” he states.

“Fine, but I have a few questions first” I say to him. “Shoot.” “Sorry about Tyler; he’s being over protective. I saw you and my first thought was Dad, I mean Sebastian knows I’m here.” “He does” Shaun says to me. I drop my head; my worst fears are coming to a reality. “It’s ok Jon, he can’t get to you."

“If you knew I wasn’t their biological son, why the charade?” I ask him. “Same reason you kept Alex being alive a secret from Olivia and Jessica; to protect you” he explains. “ Yeah, but you helped Dad kill innocent people, Alpha Laurence, Betta Josh and Gamma Zachariah, are the three that come to mind, why?”

“I didn’t.” “Didn’t?” I say looking puzzled. “The attack on Dessert Moon and Forrest Clan, I am assuming you know about them since they are here also; were the doing of Sebastian, Aubrey and Mark. I was only let in on the plan when it was well underway; they left majority of the details out. I didn’t know we were going to attack your father Alex until it happened. I don’t know if you remember much of the day Jon, but I didn’t participate in any of it.”

“You stopped me when I told Dad to leave Olivia alone when he hit her.” “Yes, I did. That was more for your protection, the same reason I pushed you towards the bookcase in Alpha Laurence’s office, to get you out of harm’s way. You remind me so much of your father; not Sebastian. Jaxon, your real father. I think Aubrey and Sebastian see that too, your compassion and understanding towards others is what he was well respected for. I believe that is why they would ‘discipline’, isn’t that the word they used? I would say, beat you so much is because no matter how hard they tried, you were always like him and not like Sebastian.”

A tear ran down my face, I rubbed it away with my hand, “you can get the others now.” He picks up he’s phone and sends a text.
