Chapter 12
Jonathon’s POV
Livvy’s eyes went wide when I mentioned I will be the other Alpha, “but you always said you didn’t want to be what your father wanted you to be." She was right, I didn’t. “I didn’t, but talking to Luna Leanne and Cynthia; they think I will be a great Alpha” I say to her. “There is more to being an alpha than controlling what’s around you” Luna Leanne stated.
“You need to have compassion and understanding. Two qualities you have an abundance of” Cynthia adds.
“I won’t be doing it by myself; we are the Ying and Yang of Alpha’s. I see it as, Liv you are the other half of my soul. Alex is the other half of my Alpha ability. I need him and he needs me; just as I need you and you need me.” I tell her; “with you and Jessi, we are the awesome foursome” Alex includes.
“You won’t always agree, there will be times a stalemate will happen” she says.
“That is true, look at it as Jonny and I will be running the show together” Alex explains. “Think of it as two CEO’s running one company” I include, “with one Betta” Nathanial exclaims pointing to himself, “and one Gamma” says Adrian, raising his hand. “Unless Jonny and myself agree; no decision will be passed” Alex says bluntly. “Both of us will work together to benefit the whole pack” I conclude.
“Speaking of benefitting the pack; we should finish up, I would like to freshen up before dinner.” Cathy announces. There were a few grumbles around the room but all agreed to finish and head out of the office.
As everyone was getting up to leave, I ask Alex and Jessica to stay behind for a moment; "It's my office, you can stay behind for a moment" Alex smirks at me. I waited for everyone else to leave and shut the door. “How are you both?” I asked Olivia and Jessica. They looked at one another, no doubt mind linking. They often did that at Emerald Moon. “It’s a lot to take in” Olivia says. “And we need time to process” Jessica added.
“What about being here?” I questioned. “As in, being away from Emerald Moon; I’m happy. As in, you not telling me Alex or my family was alive, I’m pissed at you” Jessica spat. “Sorry Jess, I was keeping you and your family safe by not telling you.” “How?” Liv asked, entering into the conversation. “If you knew and somehow Dad found out, what do you think would have happened?”
They look at one another, “Why would we tell him” Jess screamed, “I didn’t say you would have told him, let’s just pretend he guessed because you knew; he would have used you to lure Alex, Luna Leanne, Nathanial, any of them out and he would have killed them and possibly killed you too”.
I put my arms around Olivia, the same time Alex puts his arms around Jessica; “I told you the first night we met, I swore to the Moon Goddess; I will protect you both and that never stopped” I said to her. She looked at Olivia and me, then looked up at Alex, a smirk crossing her lips; she walked over to me and pinche my cheeks; “why can’t I stay angry at you." “Ow, let go of me” I laugh.
“I understand if you don’t want to, but when Alex and myself become Alpha, that means both of you will be joint Lunas.” “Oh shit, I forgot about that” Jessica says; “do we have to be Luna?” Olivia asks. “No” Alex responds, “but we would like you to be” I add.
The two ladies stare at one another again. “Let us think about it” Olivia says.

Olivia’s POV
We head out to the elevator, following the boys; *"what do you think? Should we become Luna’s?"* Jess mind links. *"I don’t know. If I had to choose to be a Luna with someone, it would be you"* I say back to her. She nods her head.
“What are you two ladies talking about?” Jonathon asks. Alex stops, looking confused; 'It’s ok love” Jess giggles, “we weren’t allowed to talk to each another when we were working; Alpha Dumbass didn’t realize we could mind link and I guess we got into the habit to communicate like that.” “I know when they are” Jonathon snickers, “they always look at one another when they do.”
“Sorry, it’s what we needed to do” I include. “No need to apologize Liv, I understand” Alex smiles, “What were you talking about?” “Us becoming Luna, we were agreeing if we had to choose to be a Luna with someone, it would be one another” Jessica explains, “you will be our Lunas?” Jonathon says enthusiastically; Jessica rolls her eyes at him and walk towards the elevator.
“Alpha Dumbass? Is that your nickname for Sebastian?” Alex laughs, “I like it. It's almost as good as Wayne Kerr; I never did tell you I loved the name you put on the list for the banquet; I wonder if he figured it out that name was me?" "Another one of Shaun's ideas and we will never know" Jonny remarks.
“Considering I have no idea what you are talking about; I can come up with a nickname for you if you want?” Jess smirks “I’m intrigued” he answers. She stops and eyes him up an down; I know she’s talking to Celeste at the same time. “Alpha Sexy Pants” she screams, bursting out in laughter. “What about me?” Jonathon asks **“Alpha Big Dick”** Vanessa yells. **“Vanessa”** I laugh,** “what? A wolf can’t have her nickname? You’ve seen it, you can’t deny that should be his nickname.”** Jessica still laughing, “Alpha not so sexy pants.”
We were joking and mucking around; I forgot to ask where Alex and Jonny were taking us. I need to rectify that now, “Where are we going?” I asked, “Alex and myself thought it would be nice if Tyler, Jonas, Celeste and Vanessa could all go for a run together” Jonathon says.
*"Yes, Celeste and Vanessa haven’t gone on a decent run in four years"* Jessica mind links again. *"That would be awesome"* I say back to her excited. “That would be nice” I calmly reply to Jonathon.
**“Nice? It’s not nice, it’s fantastic”** Vanessa says leaping in my mind.
“You didn’t answer my question” Jonny said, walking out of the building, “what question is that?” I asked. “You will be our Luna’s” he exclaimed, “gees, he’s persistent. Is he always this needy?” Jess nudges me smirking. “I have a new found freedom, I want to express my desires” Jonathon retorts, raising he’s hands and spinning on the spot. “Share them with your Luna and leave this Luna alone” she remarks.
Alex smiles, giving her a kiss on the cheek and Jonathon grabs my hand, we walk towards the forest; “we said we will think about it Jonny; I can’t say more than that” I tell him.
