The man laughed,
“Hahaha, hahaha, old man, I think you are very confused. Your child is in my hands, and you still show arrogance? Or do you not know who you are dealing with here?” the young man spoke with a laugh of anger, pulling out his pistol from his pocket and placing it on the table that separated them in that room.
The IGP looked around the corners of the room, smiling angrily as he anticipated this since he had seen cameras. He knew that the person in front of him was just a dog, but the dog owners were somewhere watching this event live, meaning everything they were discussing was being seen and heard clearly on the other side.
“Mhhhh, mhhhh, my young man. Before you speak too much, you should know you are talking to the police chief of the entire country. Those uniforms shouldn't overly inflate your ego, making you feel like you've conquered life. There is a significant meaning in the game of cards; the game has fifty-four cards, but have you ever wondered why only fifty-two are used, and the other two remain as options? It means that in life, certain things must happen or occur for things to move forward.
Still, within those things, there are optional things that no one will force you to choose. Those things are for you to decide how to choose and use them. Similarly, in cards, the two Joker cards are unnecessary, but if you decide to use them, you must accept whatever happens afterwards. You are being sent to do things whose origins you don't even know, just because you've been promised power and money.
Still, the time will come when you will wish you would have rejected all that and chosen safety. It has been a long time with my child in such a dangerous place; I need to take her home quickly because her mother cannot sleep without seeing her daughter. You have caused my wife to stay awake, thinking I am returning with our son. This is a debt you have borrowed from me and will pay.
Tell me quickly what you want to know as you were instructed. Then give me my daughter so I can leave,” The IGP was confident as if he were in his own house.
He needed the young man to ask him what they wanted to know about Jason and his role as the Director of National Security. The young man, full of arrogance, crossed his legs again and initiated the discussion.
“How was it possible for a weak young man like that to become the Director of National Security? Your answers will save you, considering you are already facing charges for forging government documents regarding the position that young man holds and are also suspected of the death of the honourable president. So, I am not here to question you for familiarity; I have your daughter and haven’t harmed her. I just wanted you to come here so I can question you and get valid reasons for these ongoing issues.” the colonel's explanation made the IGP's face contort in anger.
They wanted to entangle him in this serious case and tarnish his name. Now he began to understand that these people were very serious and the situation was not as simple as he initially thought.
"He is not as weak as you think, nor is he as gentle as many are led to believe by his appearance. I don't know much about him, but soon I will name someone you should seek out to give you the full history of that young man.
His full name is Jason Japhary, the biological younger brother of the late Chief Justice, Markvelous Japhary.
They were only two siblings, as is known, but their lives hold a heavy secret that very few of us know. That young man is one of the most dangerous beings to ever live in the world. Jason is a terrifying killer, more so than I can explain. Regarding the types of killings he performs, I once witnessed ten people he killed. After some time, their bodies began to decay, not due to magic, but because the impact of his punch affected the entire respiratory system, preventing proper airflow, and causing some organs to accumulate in one place and begin to rot.
Jason is not an engineer as some people who know him believe. He studied law, and law is his life, and his life is the law. He is said to be one of the most dangerous men to have ever passed through the armies of Germany and Canada, where he trained as a sniper. That is where his terrifying life began. His life has a long history that even I do not fully know, but to help you release my daughter, I will briefly add some information. Then I will name the person who trained him, as instructed by his brother, and—" IGP was interrupted by the colonel.
"What? His brother? Who?"
"Mark himself."
"You mean the Chief Justice?"
"That's right."
"Nooooo, it can't be true. It can't be true." The young man slammed his hand on the table in anger, completely rejecting what the IGP was saying, considering it a blatant lie.
"Call your superior. I know he can hear me and see me here. If he agrees with what I have said and the little I will add, I will name the person who trained that young man. Then I will leave with my daughter because without knowing Jason deeply, it will be very dangerous for you." IGP adjusted his suit after seeing he had cornered them.
It was now his turn to rise. The young man looked at IGP with a vengeful heart, picked up his phone, and called the other side to see if the people who had assigned him this task would agree to IGP Lusubilo's request.
The young man, who was a colonel in the army, stood up in great anger after the mocking remarks from the IGP. The older man treated him very casually, but he thought that he deserved respect matching his rank. But the IGP thought he was nothing more than a dog with no say in front of his boss, the "dog owner" himself. He harboured this sentiment deeply as he walked to the desk and dialled a few numbers. The phone rang for a very short time before it was answered on the other end.
"How have you been, IGP?" The voice made the IGP pause for a moment, feeling as though he were dreaming.
It was completely unexpected. It was the voice of a mature woman, suggesting she was middle-aged or approaching old age. The IGP, Honorable Lusubilo, could hardly believe what he was hearing. That voice transported him far back in time.

“The lack of captivating love stories makes us humans feel unworthy of love, but believe me, we have a great capacity to prove that wrong by living love in our real lives. I chose to ruin my life by trusting you. That's why I accepted everything, even if it was bad so that it would happen to me, but you would be safe. I think that was my biggest mistake, making you believe that I was nothing without you. MD, there wasn't a single moment in my life where I failed to give you my love. You played with my body however you wanted. There is no part of my body you don’t know, and there are parts you know better than I do."
“I would come to you, even if I had a crucial job saving someone’s life. But when you called, I couldn’t resist or go against you. But what have you given me in return, MD? I ask you, how did you repay me?” The voice was filled with regret and heavy with tears from the woman inside the prison bars.
People would rather reveal everything they knew than venture close to those bars. It was one of the most terrifying parts of the prison, reserved for those with major criminal offences like economic sabotage, terrorism, and murder. The woman, her face soaked with tears, poured out her grievances.
Outside the bars stood a well-dressed young man in a fine suit, the one receiving all these accusations without it being clear what he had done to warrant such blame.
