"No, no. Is this some kind of sick joke? Is Alexander the alpha king?" Winifred exclaimed again. Looking straight at the alpha king who had just turned out to be Alexander.
"Oh, hello, Winifred." Alexander greeted, giving a mischievous and cocky smile as he walked towards her.
Arthur looked to and fro between them with a confused look on his face, he was trying so hard to understand the situation at hand.
"Yes, I am the lycan king, the one and only king Alexander, the third. How have you been doing after your family got killed off that disgusting way?" He cockily praised himself then mockingly asked the question.
Winifred felt herself boiling so hot, even though she was very confused and curious about what she had just seen, her anger was ten times overriding that.
"You... you... monster! You're such a fraud. You go to the human land acting like a human and causing chaos amongst them when you're actually a wolf or something? You're evil!" She started to shout attracting the attention of everyone wolf in the court.
Whispers started to fly around and they all started to wonder who this human slave was that was speaking to their own dear king in such a rude manner. Some guards stormed towards her, ready to pounce on her but then their king stopped them by signaling to them with his hands.
He moved even closer to her, almost like he was about to kiss her, eliciting a mixed feeling from Arthur as he looked away unconsciously.
Winifred on the other hand refused to back away or step back from him, she stood looking up at his tall frame the same way he looked down at her. She was a little bit scared for herself but she had done it already and she wasn't going to back down and start cowering like some coward.
"Oh dear Winifred, I'm not the one you should fault, I'm not the monster. Your own kind is, humans are the real monsters. They are so easy to manipulate and they even castigated against their own kinds in every way they can. It's not my fault that your kind is so gullible and foolish and it's not my fault that your father got his karma, it was bound to happen. He killed off many of my kind, he's not exactly a saint either." Alexander said, looking down at Winifred's lips so many times that it made her so uncomfortable.
"It doesn't change the fact that you're a manipulative monster!" Winifred snapped, standing her ground. Suddenly, something clicked in her as she started to connect the dots and loopholes, "Wait a minute, it's you? Oh, that's why I'm here? Are you the master that actually bought me? The one I'm supposed to serve with my body? I'd rather die than have anything to do with you, Alexander! I'd rather be fed to tigers or whatever than sleep on the same bed with you!"
More and more gasps continued to fill the court with more words she spoke to the alpha king, many of Alexander's subjects were seething, his children were confused and angry while the servants and maids just didn't grasp the situation yet.
"Look at me!" Alexander started calmly, holding up Winifred's face by the jaw in a way that caused her pain. "I am not just Alexander here, I am the alpha king of this great castle. You will put that respect on my name and do as you're expected to. Or else, I'd have you snatched back from my eldest son who had specifically asked me to give you to him as a gift. And if that happens, you won't be allowed to die, I would make you go through the worst things you can even ever imagine. You will wish you were never born! Just try me!" He threatened, and then released her jaw.
Winifred still had a lot to say but she decided to keep it all in, at least for now. She looked around her surrounding and saw that she had stepped not just on Alexander's nerves but also on almost all of the beasts in the room. She looked towards Arthur and his expression was one she couldn't quite decipher.
"Show is over, dear lycans! The new toy sure comes with a lot of entertainment, I've been bored for a while in this place. Humans are fascinating, aren't they?" Alexander said loudly, succeeding in easing the tension and confusion in the court as most of the wolves started to laugh and nod in agreement with him.
Winifred remained rooted at her spot, unsure of what to do or how else to act. She saw the princess and other prince walking towards her in strides that somewhat scared her but then she felt Arthur's presence behind her and she was surprised at how relieved and safe she felt at that.
"I hope you teach your toy some manners immediately, dear brother. If she dares to cross my own path, I won't be as lenient as father, you know how brutal I can be." Alice said to Arthur as soon as they reached the both of them.
She then looked straight at Winifred and then with the harshest glare on her face, she spoke to her, "I suppose you should know that you're supposed to curtsy whenever you see any of the royalties and I've not even seen you do that even once since you stepped into this court. Seeing me even up close, you dare to stand close to me without bending to greet or even looking down at your feet? Do you think you're special just because you were bought with ten thousand shillings or is it because of the dramas that you've showcased to your superiors since your arrival?
Winifred was about to speak but Arthur was quick to beat her to it. "Don't worry, dear sister. She's a common human slave afterall and she didn't didn't grow in a rich or royal home so she obviously doesn't know a lot of these things. I plan on making her go through the harshest training to get most of these knowledge in her thick skull, so kindly overlook it for now. And about punishing her, she sure is going to get punished for daring to cause the scene she did today!" He said, very stern.
Alice scoffed and then walked away with her head held up high.
"Well, brother. Just in case you think you can't handle this one, you can pass her on to me. I'll be sure to make proper use of her on your behalf, she sure is something." Hunter said after his sister left, he winked at Winifred while licking his lips and then he walked away too.
Arthur simply rolled his eyes at his actions while Winifred looked disgusted and wondered what made him get chosen as the crown prince.
"If that is the crown prince, then I'm very confused. He looks like he's dumb and stupid." She let out before she could stop herself.
Arthur glared at her, "You take me for granted, you take my family for granted, you even dare to take my father for granted. Do you think we are a bunch of joke?" He said, his voice sharp.
"Well, maybe?" Winifred responded in a sarcastic manner, causing Arthur to totally loose it.
"Florence! Florence!" He called out as loud and harshly as he could.
The head of servants in the castle came running from the corner of the court where she was and then after doing her curtsy, she made sure her head remained bowed.
"Yes, Prince."
"Teach her everything she needs to know about being a sex slave!" He instructed in an angry tone, proceeding to leave
"Yes prince." Florence said, about to immediately carry out the command given but then Arthur turned back and added more instruction.
"And, Florence?" He called earning another "Yes, prince" from her.
"Make sure you do it in the harshest way possible. You have my permission!" He finished and then walked away, just after throwing another glare at Winifred.
