Chapter 17 His Threats: Leaving The Bar

Alpha Marcus footsteps were light but filled with a dominant aura that set everyone far away from him. The clubhouse which had always been noisy, filled with people dancing to the music, filled with jolliness was so quiet as everyone watched him carry me under his arms like I was some documents.
My face flushed red, but I couldn’t complain because I knew I was treading on thin lines and just any little word I say might make this man explode and according to what I have heard, not just from my father but also from rumors, it is said that you can provoke the president of this country, but don’t you dare invoke the wrath of SS+ Alpha Marcus, because even the president won’t save you.
I don’t know how ruthless this man could be, or how dangerous he was, but I know how powerful he was, so I don’t want to make others suffer, besides, I wouldn’t forget that Rina and Becca were still here and they might be affected if Marcus energy explodes here.
Thinking about my friends, as Marcus carried me away, I gladly threw a signal to Rina who had frowned and was about to come to stop him, and in the blink of an eye, she stopped in her place.
Marcus marched to the entrance, he didn’t even look around the place, he didn’t care that he had just burst into a place and stopped the entertainment, instead, it was like he owned the place. We had almost gotten to the entrance when I felt him suddenly pause.
My heart skipped a beat, my eyes rolled as I wondered what else he was about to do. I waited, my heart already in my throat. I couldn’t see his expression, but I felt the drop in temperature around him.
Marcus looked around, then his cold voice rang out, “Where is the manager?!”
My eyes widened, I parted my lips to say something, but my throat felt some pain which held back words. I frowned, wondering what he was thinking but was Marcus someone you could detect his thoughts? Well, no!
“M..manager…?! Yes… yes! I’ll call the manager, right now.” A stammering voice responded, and hurried footsteps were heard next.
My heart was racing so badly as I waited. So many thoughts filled my mind but I couldn’t think of any reason why he would demand to see the manager, but I just hoped I hadn’t caused harm to the innocent.
Some seconds later, I heard the sounds of footsteps, and a wave of energy suddenly rushed out without any form of hiding as if the person was purposely showing his strength which made me speechless.
I frowned from the wave of energy, and I could guess it was an Alpha, but what I don’t know is the rank of the energy.
I felt sweat begin to form on my head from the suppression, and I felt so uncomfortable, but then, I felt the hold around my waist tighten, and then a familiar scent began to caress me like it was soothing my discomfort and this stunned me, but somehow, it made my eyes light up.
I forced myself to turn, and I looked at the man who wasn’t looking at me. My heart sped up, and my stomach began to flip and dance like butterflies.
“He actually knew I was uncomfortable which is why he released his pheromones to soothe me, right? Doesn't that mean he cares about me?! He cares about me, right? Marcus—“
“And who is disturbing my place?!”
A loud arrogant voice interrupted my thought, and I think not just mine but every eye turned in the direction the voice was coming from.
My eyes were locked on that spot and soon, the owner of the voice and energy that had attacked appeared. The man appeared to be a middle-aged man with a pot belly, he looked around with arrogance and disdain, as if he was about to berate whoever had disturbed his business, but he suddenly paused. His eyes widened, and I watched him gasp in shock, then began to move back in fear, and why..?
Because his eyes were on the spot where Marcus who was still carrying me stood.
“A..alpha Marcus..?! S..sir!” His lips trembled as he cried out in shock. He was so different from the arrogant man who had shown off his ability before even appearing. Now he looked terrified as he looked at Marcus, and this made my breathing slow down.
Darn it! Even an Alpha with this strong energy was scared shitless by Alpha Marcus, and now, I wonder how much power this man… the one I’m obsessed with, the one I had been wanting to have—I’m quite curious how much power he carries.
Marcus whom the man was scared of didn’t even look at him clearly, he swept his eyes on the man indifferently, then he looked down and when I least expected it, Marcus fucking grabbed my chin, and raised my face to the terrified man.
“Do you see her?! Memorise her face! Don’t let her in your club again! And the next time I know she appears in any of your places, hmmph!” he snorted, so coldly that it sent chills down my spine… not just my spine but my bones, my soul, and my body trembled.
“…I’ll make sure I burn down every one of your clubs! Do you understand?!” His voice was calm, but the words he said were enough to make one have nightmares because no one would deny that Marcus could do it.
My mind exploded and I had the urge to cry, but I couldn’t.
Marcus didn’t wait for the boss's response, as soon as he finished his words, he strolled out of the door leaving his oppressive aura in the hall to continue to linger in the minds of everyone.
I was still in a daze when I felt the car jerking into a stop. I snapped back to my senses, my head raised as I looked out of the window to see that we had gotten to the familiar large and low-key expensive mansion of Alpha Marcus.
I looked at the house in a daze, my lips between my teeth, my eyes a bit moist, and though I knew I’d surely come back here, what I didn’t expect was that the man who brought me back was… Him.
“Leave!”
I heard a hoarse, calm voice ring out. Startled, I shifted my attention back to the car and saw Marcus who was sitting at a distance from me.
His overly calm eyes were on the front seat where the driver sat. Confused, I watched as the driver who seemed to be an Omega opened the car door and prepared to come down.
I raised my eyebrow in realisation, then turned to also open the car door at my side so I could come down, but suddenly, I felt the air in the car change which shocked me.
“Who asked you to leave?”
The calm voice, filled with enough pressure to stop me from moving, sounded, and my heart dropped to my tummy.
My eyes quivered, the hand that was on the door handle began to tremble and slowly, I turned around to look at him stiffly.
I met his dark gaze, which was so calm that it made one’s heart race.
Too calm.. oh my goodness…
I swallowed, my face morphing into a stiff smile, “Huh?” I asked with shaky breaths.
Marcus didn’t move, his legs were crossed, his finger tapped his knee rhythmically, but every movement of his made me want to submit to him willingly.
Then, he paused, raised his head and looked straight at me with those enchanting eyes of his that spelt dominance.
“Come here.”
