And I don't know how to pretend that I'm okay. My emotions will show on my face.
"Yes, I'm okay. Let's drink the wine." I said then open the bottle of wine.
I get the wine glass and pour Aaron's glass first. Then I put more on mine. Enough to fill my glass.
I drink it straight then pour again.
And Aaron's hand block my second glass.
"Is there a problem?" He asks worriedly.
And I don't want to see that he is worried about me but in his heart, there's only one and it's Andrea!
Am I jealous?
No, Stop it Nalzen! You knew from the start that you have no right.
I calm myself and smile at Aaron.
"No, I'm just thinking how I will live my life, now that I lost everything," I answered sadly. And hopefully, Aaron believes it.
He squeezes my hand. "Don't worry, I'm always here for you. Okay? So let's forget all of that and enjoy our drinks." Then he pours the wine into my glass but it's only enough, not full.
He gets something in his pocket and gives it to me. It's a small jewelry box.
"Happy Valentine's Day wifey." He greeted me and give me a smack on my lips.
I'm happy that he gives me a gift but I don't know why Andrea's happy face will keep on bothering my mind.
"Thank you, hubby." I still manage to smile at him and hope that he will not notice that I'm faking it.
I open the small jewelry box. And it's a heart-shaped gold necklace. But my blood boils when I notice that it's the same look as what Andrea is wearing.
My hand is shaking right now. And that's it I lose my control and throw away the box.
And Aaron was surprised, hurt expression on his face.
"You don't have to throw it if you don't like it wifey." He sounds sad and I'm guilty about it.
How can I tell him that I'm jealous?
"I'm sorry, I don't know what's gotten into me." I apologize and find the box and I found it.
Aaron just keeps on drinking the wine and I join him.
I pour my glass full. Not contented, I drink from the bottle and Aaron gets angry at me. He grabs the bottle.
"What is happening to you?" He asks angrily.
"I don't know!" I shouted. Then his phone rang.
Andrea is calling that added to my rage feeling.
"Don't touch your phone!" I shouted angrily.
And Aaron's reaction is like "what the?"
"It's the first time I'm seeing you like this. If your problem is about Nica and your Uncle, I will help you and I'm always here. I told you that wifey. So can you please calm down?" He is not angry now. His voice is calm with tenderness.
"I'm jealous..." I whisper. And I don't know if Aaron heard it.
"What?" He asks surprised.
The hell! I will repeat what I said. I'm ashamed right now. Just what happened?
I know that I don't have any right on him.
"I'm going to sleep," I said but he pulled my hand.
"You just woke up and you will sleep again?" He asks laughing.
Now he is not angry but is teasing me.
"Let's not sleep if we don't solve our misunderstanding."
He let me sit on his lap. And I'm in an awkward position.
"So, my wifey is jealous huh," Aaron said touching my hair.
And I blush, ashamed of what I had done.
"I'm sorry, I know that I have no right--" He immediately covers my mouth with his finger.
"Don't say it again. You have all the right on me, you are my wife remember that." He said sweetly.
And I feel like I will melt and disappear instantly. I'm touched and impressed!
I have all the right on him?
I'm so happy but I know I have a right on papers only.
I don't know what's on his heart.
Hopefully, I'm there. Just a little space, I'm satisfied with that.
"Thank you, for being here with me when I'm so down," I said and tears fall from my eyes.
Aaron wipes my tears and pinches my nose.
"It's my pleasure wifey. Stop crying, let's enjoy the day."
Then we kiss. This time, I poured all of my emotions into our kiss.
Then his naughty hand is touching my legs!
