Seeing him in sadness, Luke asked worriedly, “Mr. Hans, what happened to you? Is Estelle still unwilling to forgive you?”
“She shouldn’t forgive me,” Cristofer said briefly.

“Hold on,” James said and walked to the balcony.
Then he came straight to the point, “Hello, Mr. Hans. When will it be convenient for you to go through the divorce procedures?”
Cristofer frowned. Without answering his question, he asked, “Are you... Mr. Mysterious?”
“What? Who’s Mr. Mysterious?” James said in confusion. “Mr. Hans, I’m sorry. I didn’t get it.”
‘He’s not Mr. Mysterious,’ Cristofer concluded in his heart. Somehow, he felt a little relieved.
“Nothing,” Cristofer replied to him. “Are you still in Ameris?”
“Yes. But if you have time to go through the divorce procedures tomorrow, I’ll return to Hadale immediately,” James said.
“Could you let me see my son?” Cristofer asked with pleading and eagerness. “Thank you for taking care of Yohan in the past five years. I’ve known that I’m his biological father. I... want to see him.”
James asked suspiciously, “Who said he is your son? He isn’t. If you don’t believe me, you can have a paternity test in whichever hospital in Ameris.”
Cristofer sighed and suddenly understood everything.
No wonder Vincent said that the paternity test showed that Yohan was not my son. It turned out that James tampered with the result of the paternity tests.
“Estelle told me about it,” he responded calmly.
James was a little surprised and said, “What? She told you Yohan is your son?”
“Yes, Estelle told me everything, and I’ve agreed to get divorced from her. I just want to see my son. I know the truth. Thanks to you, Yohan has been taken good care of these years. I... I owe him and Estelle too much,” Cristofer said.

Cristofer fell into silence and was lost for words. After a while, he apologised again, “I’m sorry.”
“It’s meaningless to talk about it now, Mr. Hans. When you are available, please let me know, and I’ll go back to help Estelle complete the divorce procedures. After you two get divorced, she will have nothing to do with you. So please don’t disturb her and Yohan anymore. That’s all. I still have work to do. I’ll hang up now,” James said, then hung up the phone.

“Mr. Hans, Miss Abrams called me again,” Vincent said on the other end of the line.
Cristofer asked expressionlessly, “What did she say?”
“She asked me if you blocked her. She called you many times in three days but couldn’t get through.”
“Yes, I blocked her. Anything else?” Cristofer said coolly.
Vincent, who didn’t expect Cristofer would reply to him so bluntly, was a little stunned. Then he said, “Well, I see. I’ll call Miss Abrams back and tell her about it.”
“Vincent,” Cristofer thought of something and said. “Tell her that I will go to her place tonight.”
“Yes, sir.”

“I thought you didn’t want to see me,” Gretchen said gently. “I called you many times these days but couldn’t get through. Did... Did Estelle take away your phone secretly and block me?”
Cristofer sat on the sofa and closed his eyes, feeling weary and helpless. “Gretchen, even if Estelle doesn’t want me to contact you again, she won’t apply such a stupid method.”
