“I will send a sample of fingerprints to the police station tomorrow. You may do a fingerprint comparison first,” Cristofer said.
The policeman nodded and said, “Mr. Hans, are you suspicious of someone?”
“Yes.”
“Then it will be much easier to solve the case. We’ll go back and collect the fingerprints on the bottle later. After you send the sample to us tomorrow, we’ll make the comparison at once, and the result will come out on the same day,” the policeman said.

“Don’t be afraid, Yvonne. I’m here,” Estelle said softly. “I’ll protect you from now on. I’ll try to stay with you as long as possible, my baby.”

Estelle said, “Cristofer, please get out of our sight.”
Cristofer shook his head and said, “I won’t bother you again.”
“And don’t come here secretly to see us. Gretchen will be angry if she knows it,” Estelle added.
“Okay.”
“Let’s go through the divorce procedures tomorrow. We’ve delayed it for so long. As long as we divorce and have nothing to do with each other, Gretchen will not do anything to hurt Yvonne.”

When Estelle returned to the ward with Yvonne in her arms, it was already past midnight.
Yvonne was tired after crying for a long time and had fallen asleep with tears and stains on her little face.
Estelle then wet the towel with warm water and wiped Yvonne’s face gently. After that, she sat on the edge of the bed and gazed at Yvonne.
She didn’t dare to go to sleep because she was afraid that Yvonne would be taken away from her again.
Suddenly, her phone vibrated, and a message from Mr. Mysterious came.
‘Have a good sleep. I’ll protect your child for you.’
When Estelle saw the message, tears welled up in her eyes again. Then she replied to the message with her hands trembling.
‘Sir, I am afraid.’
‘Don’t be afraid, Estelle. I’ll always be with you, and no one can take your children away from you. Have a good rest. Your child needs a healthy and energetic mother.’

Estelle raised her head and looked at the night sky. The moon was shining bright and countless stars studded the sky.
‘At this moment, I am watching the starry sky with you.’ Mr. Mysterious texted her again.
Somehow, Estelle felt much relieved after reading the message. Whenever she thought of Mr. Mysterious, she could feel a sense of security.
‘Trust me. I’ll take care of everything. Now don’t think about anything and go to bed, okay?’
‘Okay.’
Lying on the bed, Estelle closed her eyes and tried to relax. And she could still smell the liquid medicine on Yvonne.
Mothers had the instinct to protect their children. Estelle curled up her body and held Yvonne in her arms. Hearing Yvonne’s even breaths, she gradually calmed down.
Mr. Mysterious asked her to sleep. She also knew that she should have a good rest at this time. However, her mind was in a mess, and she couldn’t fall asleep at all. She could only close her eyes and try not to move for fear of waking up Yvonne.
Then she couldn’t help thinking about what had happened today.
She thought of Luke first. Although she hadn’t seen him many times, she had heard about him from Cristofer and Mrs. Moorsum before.
Luke used to be the driver of the Hans family. When the Hans family moved to the city, Hans’ Residence was unguarded, so Luke volunteered to work there as a butler. Cristofer's father knew that Luke didn’t like the bustling downtown, which was why he agreed to Luke’s request.
Luke didn’t have children, so he loved Cristofer dearly since Cristofer was young.
