Antidote

Alpha Derick's POV

''Victoria.'' I cried out and caught her before she dropped to the floor. '' Goddess.'' I exclaimed in fear as blood gushed out from her mouth, flashing memories of my dream in my head.'' Derick…'' She stuttered my name, while blood flowed out from her mouth.

''Victoria!.'' Clinton yelled, took out the cleaver knife and placed his hands on her bleeding chest, while closing his eyes. With closed eyes, he murmured words I couldn't hear or understand.

He kept mumbling those words while I fixed my gaze on her bleeding chest waiting for the Injury to vanish but instead nothing was happening.

''What is wrong Clinton, she isn't healing.'' I yelled in fear, but Clinton shook his head and quickly opened his eyes.

''I need more healers.'' He shouted, and more than ten healers hurried out from the crowd. Some were naked because they already shifted into their human form and had no clothes to cover themselves.

''Place your hands on each other's hands and release your powers.'' Clinton said those words to the other healers, who nodded their head and placed their hands on her wounded chest, while Clinton placed his hands on the last person's hands. With fear filled eyes, I stared at Anabella and noticed Her eyes were slightly opened while blood gushed out of her mouth.

''Stay with me, please.'' I begged as tears ran down my cheek. She didn't say a word, but I noticed she was going through a lot of pain and might not be able to make it if nothing is being done. Curiously, I moved my gaze to her bleeding chest and realized nothing was happening, rather Clinton's wore a worried and sad look on his Face.

''What is happening.'' I asked in panic while my breath pants heavily.

''The cleaver knife was poisoned, alpha. It was poisoned by a deadly Snake Venom'' He announced, ''No, no, no!'' I yelled and moved my gaze to the direction of the vampires only to see Bernard on his knees as he wept for his action.

''What have you done.'' I yelled as the color of my eyes became darker while my wolf was forcing me to shift into its form. '' I will kill you.'' I yelled, but then Victoria weakly ran her fingers on my arm, drawing my attention to her. With tears filled eyes, I held her gaze and noticed she gave me a pleading look to stop.

''We need to take her back to the mansion, along with all the healers.'' Clinton explained, while I just nodded my head.

''Please ensure you are touching her.'' Jane said before she teleported us back to the mansion, right inside my room. Quickly, I lay her on the bed and made her rest her head on my right arm.

''What do we do, the blood hasn't stopped, and the injury isn't healing.'' I asked in fear while staring at Victoria, whose eyes were slightly closed. Clinton didn't say a word, rather, the other healers closed their eyes and continued murmuring words I couldn't understand. With pounding heartbeat I watched her injured chest but nothing was working, her mouth was bringing out more blood which frightened me.

''What is happening.'' I asked, in fear,

''There is a problem Alpha.'' Clinton murmured, while their hands were still placed right on her bleeding chest.

''What…is the matter.'' I asked in fear

''Bernard knows you have healers, so he poisoned the cleaver knife with a deadly Snake Venom. We need to see him, I believe he will have the antidote.'' He murmured while shaking his Head.

''Damn it!'' I yelled with panting breath.

''No healer can stop this blood, neither can we heal her except she drinks the antidote.'' Clinton added, while I sucked in a deep breath with my eyes closed.

''Do something.'' My Wolf howled in fear, which forced my eyes opened. With fear filled eyes, I stared at Victoria and noticed she tried communicating, but couldn't form out the words.

''Stay calm, nothing will happen to you.'' I assured her and noticed Jane, who has been quiet all this time, teleported away from the room.

''We need to know the Snake, so we can get the antidote.'' Clinton suggested with a worried look, filled with fear.

''I will kill…'' Those words did not leave my lips when I noticed Jane teleported into the room alongside Bernard.

''You son of a bitch, I'll kill you.'' I roared in anger as we held each other gaze only to see his eyes were filled with tears and worries.

''You can kill me, but we need to make sure she is safe…'' He paused and moves his gaze to Clinton.'' Your powers aren't working right?'' He asked.

''You bastard, of course it won't work.'' Clinton yelled while Bernard sucked in a deep breath and said, ''I need to get the antidote, and it's in Australia.''

''Then what are we waiting for.'' Jane yelled, held Bernard's hand, and they teleported away.

''Hold on for more minutes, there will be back.'' I assured Victoria, who weakly nodded her head as a reply. I watched the healers still murmuring words, trying to use their powers to hold on before they return.

With panting breath, I moved my gaze around the room, hoping they will appear somewhere at the corner of the room.

''Take a grip of yourself.'' Clinton begged me, while staring at my trembling hands. I was about to say a word, but the presence of Bernard and Jane stopped me.

''Did you get it.'' I asked, while Jane nodded her head as a reply. I fixed my gaze on Bernard and notice he was holding a bottle which holds a green potion in it.

''Once she drinks this, the Venom will be neutralized and the healers can heal her.'' He said, and got closer to Victoria.'' Have it.'' He handed it to me, which I snatched from him, and gave him a death glare.

''Just pray nothing happens to her, if not, I'll make sure I kill you and wipe out your entire generation.'' I said those words as a promise and opened the lid of the bottle.

'' Stop!'' Bernard's words stopped me.

''What…'' I wanted to speak, but he cut me off.

''Something is wrong.'' He murmured with a frown while placing his hand on Victoria's stomach and shut his eyes. '' Shit!'' He blurted out and quickly opened his eyes.

''She is three days pregnant!'' He blurted out, which startled me.

''What…'' I exclaimed with stunned eyes while I stared at Victoria who stared at me with confused look, it was obvious she doesn't know of it.

''She can't take the portion, if she does, the portion will heal her but also flush out the baby from her womb.'' Clinton blurted out.
